YOU'LL NEVER GROW UP TO BE A BIG ROCKSTAR, A CELEBRATED VICTIM OF YOUR FAME. JUST SLIT YOUR WRISTS LIKE CHEAP COUPONS, AND SAY THAT "DEATH WAS ON SALE TODAY."
Snake Eyes. He was a putrid little fuck. He was a little over fourteen hands of toxic waste and inevitable retardation. As black as a starless night and about as empty as it is too, the wanna-be 'bad boy' had been about as dense as they came when he had knocked at the door of Hrozbra and had taken what wasn't his. Was it possible that he had a warrant for death that he desperately wanted to be fulfilled? Xalias didn't know of this small growth, but what he did know of him he didn't like. The hot-headed mongrel had an over-sized ego and a knack for biting off more then he could chew. Why else would he blatantly snatch up the beloved and prized Queen of Xalias' palace and then have the audacity to make himself visible to the naked and public eye? It made him easy to find, for all the nineteen hand executioner had to do was ask a couple of questions to a few random equines and he was led to the vicinity of his newest target - all he had to do was ask about a midget black dude with a tendency to fuck around with other men's women and he had hit the gold mine for information.
Dreamer. The artistically painted maiden that had captured his heart, if Snake Eyes hurt her then Xalias would make sure to hurt him. As it was, the brawny war lord had a few torturous things in mind to punish him for even looking in the general direction of his mate. His. Dreamer was his property - his mate. Xalias didn't want to have to share her with anyone and he would be damned if he was forced into submission by the Arabian mutt. Perhaps he didn't truly have a right to be as pissed off as he was but he couldn't help the feeling of possessiveness that he felt for his beautiful woman - he sure in the hell hadn't treated her right for the past couple of years. It seemed to be karma biting him in the ass for his disappearance - and for the fact that he hadn't only disappeared but had slept with two other women in his absence while she had stayed at home and raised their daughter alone. At first, he had written it off as he had been trying to protect her from his line of work, for she would have been an easy target but now he began to question himself. Had it truly been safer to leave her to the clutches of some sick, twisted freak who happened to see her precocious soul alone in that big, bad land? It was a question in which he had asked himself over and over but he still couldn't find the right answer. It was the reason why he stayed up late into the night, insomnia a bitter friend as he conjured up possible images that rose to his mind and threatened to burn the last little bridges that led him to the tendrils of his sanity. It was hard enough to formulate his plans and not head out at the first knowledge that Dreamer had been taken against his will, but he was here now, and that was all that mattered.
Thick, tangled raven-black dreadlocks cascaded down the pulsating flesh of his obsidian boa as he stretched his nape out and shook his massive cerebrum, his glittering emerald-green lanterns as cold and vicious as the voids of the green Mamba draped across his shoulders in a tense coil. Having be-friended the species of this particular snake, Xalias had found comfort in their presence from a young age. He didn't mind them and they didn't mind him, having found a common respect that neither deemed beneficiary to breech. As he embarked past the wrought-iron gates of the blood-stained battle fields, his lanterns rolled back in their sockets like loose marbles as he gazed 'pon his stubborn companion, his heavy harks skimming against his cerebrum as he laced them back and then flicked them forward, obviously displeased with the unwanted addition on the journey. Pale green and narrowed, like a skinny diamond, the eyes of the Mamba stared back at him languidly, it's forked black-tipped tongue flicking forward as it scented the death of those previous past within the atmosphere. Xalias had been half-tempted for a second to speak of his displeasure but he refrained, his tongue pressed against the back of his smooth enamels. He knew better then to try to find logic in his silent partner, and so, with this, he returned his attention back to the battle field ahead - as expected, Snake Eyes had yet to make an appearance. Xalias rolled his shoulders, flexing his muscles as he moved into moonlit clearing, his formidable frame backlit by the ethereal touch of the moon. He would use this time to hash out an exact plan and structure for the impending battle - and allow thoughts of Dreamer to invade his minds eye.
Scarred, touch by the hand of many a battle, the executioner was no stranger to these grounds, nor did he plan to retire from the ranks and surrender to normalcy - even with Dreamer's return, he would find a way to bring her along and continue his line of work. It was in his blood - to slaughter, maim and torture - it was his passion. Without it, he would be nothing more then an over-sized has-been that constantly pined for the life that he had left behind. No, his work would be continued, but he would put more effort into his relationship and show her just how much she meant to him. In the past, he hadn't been a good role model, nor a good husband, but ironically, having her hurt and taken away from him made him realize just how much he was missing with her absence - and how she left an empty place in his heart that he couldn't seem to fill even with the most goriest of mutilation. No, all he needed was his dream - his fate come to life - Dreamer. He wouldn't allow Snake Eyes to keep her for a moment longer. No, if he lost this battle he would return - again and again - or take from the piece of slime and strip him of the little amount of manhood he had between his legs with his own morbid imagination turned into action. Xalias was not a force to be reckoned with - and by targeting him, he had become an enemy - a target - for life.
"You seeking a fashionable late arrival, brainless? It'll do no good, for there will be nothing fashionable about your departure, lest your broken and bloodied carcass being strewn from these trees amounts for 'in style.' " His deep baritone rolled from within his larynx and rolled forth across his tongue and out his parted maw as he raised his scarred cerebrum high in command, his stark alabaster-dipped muzzle free of crimson, but soon to be stained by the juices of his opponents lifesource. Any time now, Snake would arrive, and when he did, this freak show would begin. There would be one champion - one victory, and Xalias would make it his.

Silky tangles draped over his nape. Paper thins barely trembled with each passing breath. The atmosphere kissed the ground, a formidable and thick sea of fog dancing above the terrain. Even the home land that kept him safe knew what was happening today. Snake Eyes had just one thing in mind. Staying alive. He had picked a treacherous foe, but the czars pride and egotistical ways refused to let him back down. Once again, he'd be going off and left the herd in the hands of his queens and betas, a babysitter to watch over the brats he spawned and took to a long journey that would determine the ownership over one mare. Dreamer. Raven hued banner wiggled with each step the brute took. Vertebrae rotated and shifted with the movements of his hips and shoulders. He felt every motion.
Cerulean pools remained emotionless. This was going to be a boring venture. He only hoped the stud waiting for him would keep him on his toes. He was sure he would. The mammoth king towered over Snake. Snake sighed mentally. He'd have to use more brain than brawn for this. Brawn with the short stature he stood at against the gigantic framed monster would just bring misery and pain, a dishonorable end to the infamous Snake Eyes. No. He'd not let that happen. The brute sighed once again, a yawn emitting and he felt the satisfaction of the stretching muscles and he rubbed his salmon painted tongue over his kissers, velvety hairs tickling it.
The czar produced a snort and pushed onwards, exiting the boundaries of his Helkarean territory and left in the direction for the battlegrounds, where he was sure Xalias would greet him, twisted grin painted upon that ugly scarred facade, thoughts of blood and mutilation, maiming and breaking Snake dancing upon his mind. Snake would have shuddered, if he actually feared him. But truth be told, Snake was not sure if he did fear him or not. A wiser horse might have, but Snake was too proud, too egotistical to let fear get to him. He refused to let it even brush his mind, no matter how soft and smooth the hand of fear was. He kept it at bay, gritting his teeth and chewing his lip he kept himself focused. The task at hand was a simple one. Get there, either kick ass or get ass kicked and go home. He'd not die. Not yet. It was not his time. The stud shifted his position and kept walking, more chewing on his lip, feeling a trickle of blood sting his tongue as he bit too hard and chewed too much.
Thorns were pinned, hidden amidst the thick tangled bangs he called a mane. Voids were set to focus on only the path to the play ground for the adults, where fights pursued and deaths took toll. He'd know when he got close, the stench of rotting bodies and stale blood would flood his nares, cloud his mind, and would make the squeamish gag and flee. He slapped his haunches with his hock kisser. Chest moved with every breath he took, knives gently made love with the turf, soft thuds could be heard. An owl watched him keenly, interested for only a moment before a field mouse caught the bird of preys attention, and without a moments notice, the owl swooped down and scooped it up. Dinner was served. Snake snorted softly and kept moving through the lands. He was silent for this journey, he kept his mind blank and did not intend on letting anything fog his thoughts. No, he needed his concentration tonight.
Shifting his direction once more, knowing he'd get there to find a rather impatient foe, he took his time. It was a mere hobby of his. He rarely went faster than he needed to. He was in no rush. Hell, he'd have just given Dreamer to Xalias without anything in return. All the fucker had needed to do was ask. Snake rolled his shoulders, the enemy he knew he created was not that bright. No. Clearly not. Snake was a very negotiable stallion. Extremely negotiable. He liked to barter, but in this case, he had grown quite irritated with the mares presence, and would have just let her go, no words necessary, no sappy goodbyes, and he'd expect them to leave his lands before giving each other their reunion kisses. He did not mind romance or watching others happily reunited, but he was not in the mood for watching them. Not at all, he would rather watch a wolf mating ritual. He shrugged it off, he just did not care right now. Why should he?
Does the whole "Being tired of her presence" mean he was going to play the fight like the audience wants, but lose it on purpose? He was not sure what he would do. Determined to put on a pretty show for the ones watching in bated excitement, he'd deliver. But would he throw in the towel? Would he make himself lose just rid himself of the painted vixen? Snake snorted. That was something he had yet to decide. He was not one to normally plan these things out, he usually just planned as he went along. Plans went astray, they never stuck. So he had given up on planning his days out. Hell, he planned on a lazy day and got stuck with intruders or mares fighting or other harem issues. He did not get many lazy days since having Kenshin. Kenshin was, so far, his most difficult kid. Mississippi River was his quiet young filly, older than Kenshin, but still she was so young and quiet, she kept herself reserved. He was sure she was the type to never let go of her virginity until she knew it was the right guy. She was the type, Snake was sure, that if she never found the right one, someone would have to rape her to get her. She had her fathers pride though and rarely went down without a fight.
Snake stopped his walking. Surveying his surroundings, he analyzed how far he was from the destination. Xalias had crossed here. He smelled the brute. The Arabian snorted loudly, snot droplets flying from his paper thins and he kept going. Knives slid silently over the ground. Thorns remained pinned, he had not moved them the entire journey. His mothers voice rang in his head with the whole process "They're gonna stick that way forever if you don't stop it!" A foreboding gate loomed over the terrain. The scent of death and decay rolled out of the district and tainted the air of the immediate areas. Snake had caught the scent a while back, but had bit his tongue from the thought of it. Now, it was near impossible to ignore. The wind caused a gate to shift, and the creak echoed. It was if the territory wanted everyone and their brother to know. . . Snake Eyes had arrived. Xalias was no doubt already aware now, certain from the creak and the calls of the scavenging birds that his victim, his target had arrived.
It was only a few moments before he caught sight of the stag that wanted his mate back. Snake Eyes yawned, bored yet again. "You seeking a fashionable late arrival, brainless? It'll do no good, for there will be nothing fashionable about your departure, lest your broken and bloodied carcass being strewn from these trees amounts for 'in style.' " Snake held back the urge to roll his voids. He rolled his shoulders instead. "I would not say that..." He was playing with fire, but he pressed on. "I just had to give your whore a good fuck, seeing as with you and your tiny prick gone, she's had to do without a good one for a while. She seemed to enjoy it." He cocked a brow, a smirk dancing on the corners of his kissers. He would never actually touch Dreamer, she was not what he wanted, nor did he deem her worthy of it. She had nothing beneficial to him. The foal would be more trouble than the worth and he'd just turn it away, sending it to find a new mother, new home, or let it die at the hand of Xalias or starvation and malnourishment.

YOU'LL NEVER GROW UP TO BE A BIG ROCKSTAR, A CELEBRATED VICTIM OF YOUR FAME. JUST SLIT YOUR WRISTS LIKE CHEAP COUPONS, AND SAY THAT "DEATH WAS ON SALE TODAY."
It seemed like a thousand precious seconds had passed before the colossal executioner detected the tell-tale screech and creak of the rusted hinges as the wrought iron gates swung open on the western end - an ominous tone that signified that the arrival of his opponent. Thick, heavy harks unlatched from their pinned position 'pon his nape and swung upward in one swift motion, taking in the sound of the night that surrounded them and searching these sounds of normalcy for the tell-tale sounds of the Arabian mutt. Xalias knew that he was there, for the atmosphere had thickened as soon as the gates had swung inward to emit the putrid pile of bones but he preferred to keep his senses sharp and alert. Thud... Thud... The barely audible noise that was permitted in the intangible atmosphere by the sound of irons striking pliant but firm terrain reached Xalias' harks and a sinister smile contorted his stark alabaster labarums and caused darkened claret fluids to saturate the otherwise immaculate flesh as it dribbled from the sores 'pon his chapped lips and splattered 'pon his thick, brawny indigo chest. He didn't move to welcome the scraggly rag-tag brat, but instead, held his position, lit under the glow of the ethereal moonlight as thunder grumbled in protest somewhere in the distance. It briefly sliced through the silence and shook the very core of the ground - intent to intimidate any of those that were unfamiliar with the dry summer storms that ensued 'pon Wild Equines, but he had been here long enough to know that, although tall, lightning had better things to strike than him - namely, the obsidian cock-fucker that happened to be striding toward him with a jaunty 'I'm-going-for-a-stroll-through-the-park' kind of gait.
His thick, tangled obsidian cords cracked against his powerful haunches before falling back to his feathered fetlocks, but otherwise no movement was made as his narrowed emerald lanterns trekked the movements of the tyke. What a cocky little bitch. Oh, but he was used to his kind - they thought they had the whole entire world eating out of the palm of their hand, and that a high-ranked position offered them power and fame without the recognition. Xalias scoffed at this 'Brotherhood', for he hadn't seen a whole hell of a lot being done in that neck of the woods - apart from the random snatch of a woman or a child before they slunk back to their dungeons and cells to bide the time that their glory faded. It wouldn't be long, of this he was sure, for with groups like these the ended up disbanded and taken on by those of weaker power; chaos within organization, there was always that weak link that would break under the excruciating pain of torture. If there was one thing that he had found out in his line of work it was the fact that all of equine hood had a softness about them, no matter how hidden it was - Snake Eyes would be no exception. In a matter of time, the torterous Overlord would find that soft sport and he would prey 'on it - twisting and driving the knife blade home until the little bastard writhed in pain and agony.
"I would not say that. I just had to give your whore a good fuck, seeing as with you and your tiny prick gone, she's had to do without a good one for a while. She seemed to enjoy it." As soon as the jet-black rat was within ear shot, Xalias heard his words as he spoke them, the words finding their way into the curvature of his half-pinned harks as the implication behind the words settled across his mind's eye. Whether he showed it or not 'pon his impassive face, his mind leapt to vivid images of the tiny-pricked Helkaer gelding humping on his wife and having a grand old time doing it. Had Dreamer wanted it, too, or had she been forced into humiliation - forced to endure the indignity of his lax protection. Did she hate him for the things that he had done? Would she be able to find it in her heart to forgive him? He hadn't been there when she needed him the most, but he was trying to make up for that now. The question was, had he waited too long? Was their relationship already too far gone for them to salvage any of the remains? Xalias didn't know the answer to these questions that roamed unbidden through his mind, but he knew that he would walk to the ends of the earth to prove to her that he truly wanted to come home. Right now, he couldn't let guilt ride 'pon his shoulders - right now, he needed to grind the face of this little punk into the ground and listen to him beg for mercy - to listen to the breaking of his bones as Xalias ripped ligament away from flesh and suffocated the life out of him. Bleed, bitch, bleed. No one would fuck with him and live to tell the tale unscathed. It would be his dying day that anyone got away with nothing other then a good laugh.
Silence stretched between them, riddled with tension as his narrowed emerald lanterns trekked the lofty movements of the massively smaller hellion with malice and an intensity that couldn't be ignored. A low hiss tickled arose to intermingle with the tensity of the situation, his reptilian friend having picking up on the morbid scene that was about to play out before it. Another second passed before he spoke, his tones cold and deadly as he lowered his scarred cerebrum, his alabaster labarums parting to reveal his stained enamels as he contemplated all the ways this little bitch could die. "If you so much as touched a single hair on her hide I'll kill you so slowly that you'll be begging for me to end it faster, but I won't." His luminescent lanterns flashed with an inner fire as a low snarl rumbled forth from deep within his larynx and ripped through the tension-heavy atmosphere. "You'll be nothing more then my little bitch as I twist and contort that pliant little frame of yours into all kinds of humilating positions. You'll know what it felt like for each and every woman that you have ever touched against their will."
Anger surged forth across his composed facade and pulled his features into a mask of animalistic hatred as he continued to stare down his opponent, his brawny muscles bulging. "Then I'll break you down, but by fucking bit, until you're nothing more then an unrecognizable mass of congealed blood and broken bones at my feet that I'll leave for the scavengers to pick through." His enamels flashed in the meager light provided by the moon as he shook out his tangled tresses, his harks pinning flat against his cerebrum. "So, let's try that again. Where is Dreamer and have you touched her? I would think very long and hard about this, dickfuck, because you're answer will decide your fate." With this, he stood tall - vigilant, as his facade became composed once more and the flexion in his frame snapped like that of a taut rubber band. "On second thought, how about I make that decision for you. I don't want my time wasted with your vile tongue and useless words." Plate-sized irons dug into the pliant terrain as he brought himself forward with a surge of power and malicious intention, his snaked cerebrum lowered in a herding position as he snapped his large enamels outward - not in an attempt to connect, but in an attempt to get the bitch to dance like a puppet pulled on a string. Even as he did this, he continued to move forward, making sure to keep moving as he advanced on the Arabian mutt, wanting to make sure that Snake Eyes didn't have the chance to set his feet. "You ready to see what it feels like to be inferior, little boy? Shall I string your balls up on these here branches for the next mother fucker that dares to double cross me to see? Maybe then everyone can see just how pathetic those little 'jewels' of yours are. You'll be the laughing stock of the entire society" Xalias mocked him, a low chuckle rumbling in his chest like a grating growl as his obsidian banner lashed against his thick haunches, his feathered appendages stomping closer. "Let's see what you got, mini man. Give me your best shot." Lunging forward 'pon this word, having come close enough on Snake's left side, but uneducated to the swiftness - or lack thereof - of the opponent that had chosen him, Xalias lifted his front end off of the ground and struck out in one swift, powerful movement with his over-sized irons toward his mouse-sized opponent in an attempt to connect with the stallion's shoulder blade. If it connected, the force of it would surely break some bones or badly bruise the flesh, making it semi-hard to maneuver. As his front end slammed back down to the terrain, his irons meeting the flesh of the earth in a fierce reunion, Xalias was unsure whether he had made the contact, but instinctively he moved out of reach, his frame positioned in a way that Xalias could see the countering attack - if there was one. Time slipped by as the two forms stood, ready to face off. To passerby's, the gigantic form of Xalias towered over little Snake. Snake stood his ground. He lacked size and sometimes lacked his brain, but he made up for it with pride and heart. That was not going to help him here and he knew it. Snake pushed his luck to the edge in almost everything he did, but he did not let it bother him. Snake inhaled and exhaled softly, silently, contemplating his decisions. If he got hurt, which he was sure he would, Katana would stab him. No doubt about it, his raven hued mate would kick his ass.
The earth seemed to stand still as the two contenders sized each other up, a seemingly effortless task for the opponent Snake now faced. He knew he was standing against the odds, they seemed to have been testing him. The ebon czar stood still, unmoving. This was his battle and this was his test. He would do his best to pass it. He had not gotten this far in his previous plans. Find a target. Check. Steal said target. Check. Receive target. Check. After that, he had not the slightest idea as to what would happen. He supposed he should have known the bastard would hunt his ass down to challenge him for his precious whore, but he had not thought he'd be stalked and have the brute jump at him the second he was able. Snake had not expected Xalias so early on. Hock kisser hung limp along his buttocks, draping over his hocks like silken robes.
Everything in the territory they stood upon seemed to have fallen silent, paying their respects to the duo, shortly one would go off, humiliated with defeat, a bruised ego, pride shattered. One would walk away, triumphant and victorious, claiming a prize they both sought. Snake Eyes did not want Dreamer for anything more than a trophy. Xalias, on the other hand Snake was sure, actually wanted her for her. Her company, her personality, herself. Snake Eyes rolled his cerulean pools. He was short tempered at times, and this was one of those times. He was doing an exceedingly good job at hiding it, but it was growing ever more difficult to do so.
"If you so much as touched a single hair on her hide I'll kill you so slowly that you'll be begging for me to end it faster, but I won't." Snake looked towards the gigantic behemoth that stood before him as his dull lyrics pounded against his ear drums. A smirk danced its way onto his facade. He had succeeded at getting under the demons skin. He had made it easy. Dreamer seemed to be a weak spot for the mammoth brute. The demon then snarled and Snake pricked his thorns erectile for a moment. "You'll be nothing more then my little bitch as I twist and contort that pliant little frame of yours into all kinds of humilating positions. You'll know what it felt like for each and every woman that you have ever touched against their will." Each and every woman? Snake Eyes dove into his thoughts. How many mares did he do without their consent? He could not think of any. In fact, the one that might be even a little iffy had actually done him as a trade to get a mare he had stolen back. Her body and foal for the mate to the red brute he had stolen her from.
"I'd welcome that, but I'm afraid YOU'RE the only one who has force bred any women, dearie." Snake spoke softly, barely over a whisper. Xalias was still staring him down. The raven czar rolled his shoulders, eying the demon himself. "Then I'll break you down, but by fucking bit, until you're nothing more then an unrecognizable mass of congealed blood and broken bones at my feet that I'll leave for the scavengers to pick through." Snake chuckled at this. Even he knew the scavengers wouldn't touch him. Would they consider him worth it? He was a tiny little thing. Snake slapped his haunches with his whip cord, the SWISH! from the force and speed ringing to his ears. Snake Eyes scrutinized Xalias carefully.
Snake was too cocky. He knew this. He enjoyed it, to be honest. Pissing others off was a good time waster. He got many enemies from it, but in the end, it was worth it. "So, let's try that again. Where is Dreamer and have you touched her? I would think very long and hard about this, dickfuck, because you're answer will decide your fate." Snake cocked a brow. He had those answers for Xalias. She was located in a highly secure cell, though she had access to clean water, fresh food, and shelter. He treated his slaves as normal members of his harem, except locked up. He made sure they were comfortable. Hell, he even let them out daily, with guards hovering over them like ants to honey. Had he touched Dreamer? No. He had taken her scent in, but other than that, he had kept himself to himself. Dreamer had the biggest cell he offered, being that she was a royal, after all.
Snake did not have the opportunity to answer, nor was he going to try, before the numb nuts Xalias spoke up once again. "On second thought, how about I make that decision for you. I don't want my time wasted with your vile tongue and useless words." Pitiful. Snake slapped his haunches once more with his silky whip cord. As Xalias readied himself, the muscles under the dukes flesh bulging, trembling with anticipation, Snake bared his ivories, snapping them. Thorns once again hidden, pinned to the extent, and he snorted right as the mammoth brute charged him. Snake watched, anticipating any moves, and as the stallion feigned bites, Snake jumped out of reach, whip cord tucked up against his buttocks. "You ready to see what it feels like to be inferior, little boy? Shall I string your balls up on these here branches for the next mother fucker that dares to double cross me to see? Maybe then everyone can see just how pathetic those little 'jewels' of yours are. You'll be the laughing stock of the entire society" Snake Eyes kept his peripheral vision planted on Xalias, marking every area the brute moved. The ebon czar trotted, serpentined, and kept up the ballet with Xalias. "Let's see what you got, mini man. Give me your best shot." Snake rolled his voids again.
Snake heard Xalias come in close, and as the mammoth brute reared up and struck out towards him, Snake threw himself towards the right, though he was just a tad too slow. Snake felt the plate sized daggers meet his flesh, kissing it like a crazed lover. The sharp edges of the hoof walls broke skin. Snake dropped and rolled as Xalias landed, and with difficulty, stood back up. His shoulder stung as the crimson fluid dyed his pelt, dirt and debris from the tuck and roll clung to him and his open wound. He growled and bared his dentals at Xalias. "Mocking me won't do you any good..." He faltered in his words, his breathing ragged. Pain snaked through his shoulder blade but Snake pushed his focus onto Xalias. Snake shook his dial and rolled his shoulders, grinding his molars hard together as the pain flared through his shoulder once again. Snake snorted loudly and charged Xalias as he had done to him. Teeth however did not go to bite or even act like he was going to. Snake slid and quickly twisted his bodice, turning his back to the mammoth demon and kicked out with his hind legs, aiming for the rib cage or the exposed elbow of the brute. He decided kicking would be better than full on tackling. Somehow, imagining himself hitting the beast and bouncing off of him as if he had hit a wall did not seem fun. He did not wait to see if he had made contact, instead he trotted off, a significant limp slowing him down.

Sweet, sweet surrender. He could feel the maw of multiple demons contort and twist within his mind as his gaze leveled 'pon the onyx hell hound, the rugged planes of his own starless midnight facade contorted into a mask of malicious animosity. When he looked into the pale sapphire depths of his opponents eyes, he didn't see someone living, but someone who ought to be dead - a task in which he would gladly oblige, if given the chance. The raven-black czar would never live to see a ripe old age with the cocky attitude that he carried around with him like extra baggage. Colonel Rattler would be sure to find someone that had enough of his shit and knocked him down more then a peg or two - and then extend 'pon that and grind his toothy little face into the ground and pulverise it into meat, like that of raw hamburger. Xalias himself wouldn't be bothered in exerting so much energy 'pon the pompous fool, but he would make sure that he was worse for the wear - beaten up just enough to deliver a message back to that little "Brotherhood" of his. Don't fuck with me and my family. He thought the message would be loud and clear, even if he had to find a way to engrave it 'pon the flimsy muscular frame of the mud blood Prince.
Reptilian reminiscent emerald lanterns burned cold and hungry as the silvery fingers of the moonlight bounced and glimmered off of his massive frame and ran down his Goliath appendages to touch 'pon his feathered fetlocks before fading out in utter exhaustion as it attempted to unshackle the shadows that followed his colossal form. He paid no more heed to his surroundings, having programmed what would be crucial for this battle into the folds of his mind. As of right now, the Arabian mutt had his full attention, and would continue to hold it until his mutilated body collided with the cold, hard tundra underfoot, slicked with his own claret life source. This battle with the midgit man may seem like it would be none the harder then swatting away a bothersome fly, but Xalias knew better. He knew that every battle had its complications and he knew that he must prepare for anything that Snake Eyes might have hidden up his sleeve.
It wasn't until his dinner-plate sized irons connected with the tender and pliant flesh of the onyx czar's shoulder that Xalias felt an intense satisfaction that fueled the adrenaline within his entity. Like molten lava, his blood flowed through his veins, pounding out a war drum in the confines of his ears and whispering age-old chant's of victories come and gone. First blood. It was what he had aimed for - and what he had achieved. He could still feel the satisfactory connection with the brujo's smaller frame and he could hear the sound of the flesh tearing open. He could feel the crimson blood slick his irons and stain them a darker shade of onyx, wet and glistening in the stormy light before they reconnected with the ground and quickly picked up mud that caked to the fluids and to his feathers. He had already moved back in order to avoid an automatic retaliation, but he need not to have worried, for it looked as if Snake Eyes had to recollect himself. The silence stirred around them in eager anticipation for the show down, murmuring and mocking, twisting and seething, as it sang a tune that only Mother Nature could decipher. Yet, seconds after the silence interrupted eager chaos, the hessian spoke, his words ragged 'pon the one simple sentence.
"Mocking me won't do you any good..." Was he starting to falter? Was the 'almighty' warrior brother starting to loose his nerve in the midst of a battle? It was a dangerous thing to reconsider when the war had already ascended, for it would take crucial moments that could be used to formulate an attack and defense strategy when one thought about 'why the hell did I do this again?' Xalias didn't mind, he liked to see his victims crumble underneath the intense pressure - Snake Eyes would be no different. Instead, Xalias let the sentence roll from off of his shoulders like rain on oil-slicked skin, his alabaster maw cracked in a twisted and sinister grin as he revealed stained incisors that gleamed lethally in the wane moonlight. "Ah, but you see, I'm not doing it for the entertainment purposes, dear Rattler... I'm saying this as a promise. You may say it's a play-by-play of how you will die." His deep baritone rolled into the storm-laden atmosphere as he kept his sinister gaze 'pon his victim, hearing the snake coiled on his nape and wrapped in his thick, tangled dreads give out a hiss that punctuated his words.
It was then, in the moment between his words settling in the atmosphere and the punctual hiss of the Green Mamba draped within his thick draperies, that Snake Eyes retaliated, rushing forward and spinning at the last second to aim a well-placed kick at the edge of his elbow and his rib cage. Xalias took a step back, but he could not avoid the brunt of the blow. Exhaling sharply as the quick kick forced his breath out of him, Xalias felt the white-hot pain lacerate down his left side and spread toward his hip bone, the hit having connected with the area in which caused the hit to have the most effect - right near his "funny bone." A low growl rumbled forth from deep within his larynx as he staggered back a step, his obsidian banner lashing against his scarred haunches with a resounding CRACK! Claret fluids leaked from the jagged cut that ran from his shoulder and toward his rib cage, and already he could feel a bruise form 'pon the thin skin that covered his rib cage. Expertly, he flexed his muscles and moved in a way to assure that nothing was broken, but the little fucker had quite the kick on him. Xalias would have to make sure to watch out for that from now on.
"Cute, did your little sisterhood teach you how to attack like that? I'd find it amusing if it wasn't so God damn annoying." He continued to mock the onyx czar, attempting to get under his skin even as he took a step forward, his muscular frame rippling with every stride that he took. He closed the distance, moving to the side of Snake to keep him on his toes - to keep him guessing, the smile still plastered 'pon his facade. He didn't speak nor did he rush into an attack, but instead he kept his gaze fixated 'pon his opponent and weaved back and forth - in and out - using the feigned attacks to build up the suspense as lightning cracked and lit up the sky overhead, blinding with its brilliance and intensity. It was in this natural distraction that Xalias rushed in, hoping that Snake Eyes had been successfully distracted by the lightning so that his attack would connect, but unsure if he would. Without giving it much more thought, the nineteen hand executioner raised up once again, this time closer back toward the shoulder and on the same side as the previous injury, with the intent to make it seem like he would strike out in the same attack, but at the last moment he drove himself earthen-bound and struck out with his bared incisors, intent to grab the nape of his opponent and thrash around - to possibly knock him to the ground, and/or take a chunk out of his neck. He drew back, his voids wild and frenzied as he thought about every night that Dreamer had to endure in the prison cells, whether she had been touched or not, and it fueled his blood lust but he refrained from attacking again - this time standing his ground and daring the stupid mother fucker to make a brash move.

Out of shape. He felt like he was out of shape. What after months of just not caring, sure he was out of shape. He should not have expected to be so in shape to have waltzed in here like he owned the fucking joint. Snake Eyes wanted to slap himself. Just up and bitch slap his face. That was impossible to do right now though. He felt stiff already in his shoulder, the blood caking over his radiant coat, which was now dull and sticky from the crimson tears of his flesh wound. The tar colored prince shifted his weight as he stared his opponent down. This battle had drawn out, and he finally knew what it felt like to be thrust to action that was not pelvic thrusts. He snorted, keeping his voids on the challengers facade, anticipating his next motions. He refused to take his eyes off of his face, even for a second, though he wanted to see if he had done any damage to the spot he had kicked at.
It would have to wait. He was too concerned with trying to match the towering brutes steps. He wanted to stay one jump ahead, for one small mistake would mean he was going down. Going down would mean the end of good old Colonel Rattler. Raven whip cord danced around his buttocks as he flared his paper thins, feeling the thin air, heavy with the scent of blood, old and new, flowing in and back out. He shifted his weight and felt his shoulder protest against his movements, he forced away the pain. Showing his weakness right now would be a very unwise move. Very unwise indeed. The vultures and crows were gathering around the little clearing the behemoth and Helkaer had picked out to let the battle ensue. He slapped his haunches with his whip cord and snorted loudly towards Xalias, a more of a "Come and get me, you dick" snort. He was, once again, becoming cocky and was doing it to piss the nineteen hand high brute off.
"Ah, but you see, I'm not doing it for the entertainment purposes, dear Rattler... I'm saying this as a promise. You may say it's a play-by-play of how you will die." Xalias Von Dick Face was speaking again. He listened carefully but the words went in one ear and out the other. Snake Eyes moved a few steps, his shoulder screaming and the icy hot pain slithered through his body like a rattlers venom. His limp was pronounced now, the stiffness in his shoulder was growing ever worse. The scavengers eyed the blackened czar eagerly, waiting for him to fall. Snake hissed at them silently. He was not dead yet. Not yet. He still had the strength to stand. He would not give up so easily. No, to do that, he'd be recklessly stupid and known as a coward. The equine nation could call Snake Eyes anything they wanted, but coward and quitter were two things they could not call him.
Snake sighed gently, after this, a nice dip in his hot springs might be in order. Whether he walked away defeated or victorious, he'd take the relaxing waters bubbling around his frame. It would also help ease his muscles, the aches and tension in them would slowly be drowned away. He felt his shoulder twitch, and he almost grimaced but caught himself and instead shook his crown and snorted loudly again. He circled in front of Xalias, anything to keep himself moving, for the shoulder muscle was cramping, knotting, and stiffening from standing still. The more stagnant he was, the more pain he was in. He watched as Xalias' facade twisted, mutilated itself into a twisted grin. Snake bared his dentals and clicked them together aggressively and tucked his chin to his chest as he glared at the brute. He gazed at the animal as he approached him and Snake moved in conjunction with the towering mass.
Xalias moved in and out and around him and Snake kept up his paces to dance with the stud. The sky, now angry with the two for taking so long it seemed, let go of its own ferocity. A streak of the electricity it produced snaked across the heavens. Snake growled and scrunched his voids shut momentarily, and when he re-opened them, Xalias was upon him. Xalias seemed to make the same move, but Snake went to dodge it, only to have mistaken the brutes intentions. He felt the stag grab him upon his nape. Searing pain shot through his bodice as he felt his flesh rip and tear, felt the hot fluid his body produced pour from the abrasion, and the cool air hitting the now open wound stung. Snake stood, his breathing ragged and sharp as he tried to decipher what just happened. Xalias stood back. Snake knew what the fucker wanted. He wanted Snake to take his last stand. The ebon brother stared at Xalias. All this for a mare? Snake had to admire that. Xalias would obviously go to hell and back to protect Dreamer. Snake would do the same for his mates, Xalias got one point in his book.
That one point would not stop Snake. He would not just throw the towel in. He had come this far, not to give up, but to fight and prove his balls were at least worthy of hanging there. He had not backed down, especially from such a formidable foe. Clearly, he had the testosterone to be able to call himself worthy of the pair. Or maybe he was just stupid. He had yet to decide on this problem. But for now, the foe was challenging him again. He stopped to think for a moment. His lack of height was a severe handicap for him in this. Snake slowed his breathing and closed his orbs for only a fraction of a second. Brows furrowed and Snake growled at Xalias. Whip cord snaked through the atmosphere and landed upon his haunches. It was Snakes turn and he moved towards Xalias. He focused his cerulean voids upon the orbs of the challenger and he approached him slowly. With a cock of a brow and a wink, Snake grinned and reared, close enough to Xalias now that he could formulate his attack move. With the rear, he imitated Xalias, but this time, his ivories were intent on going in to try to mutilate the left ear of the mammoth brute. Snakes thorns were pinned, and as he went to grab the opponents hark, he readied himself for his retreat.
With success, the skin would hopefully have been broken, if not having the ear slightly ripped off, but Snake found ground again and darted forward, slipped to Xalias' right side and off to the side, out of reach. He groaned as his shoulder and neck yelled in protest, knotting up even more, cramping enough to make Snake stumble and stagger. The onyx king looked towards Xalias, out of breath and in pain, drenched in his own blood. Cerulean voids rested upon the assholes facade. His columns trembled. It was now very apparent he had used the last bit of his energy to produce that attack and retreat. "What was taught to me and what is just instinct is not the topic of interest here, Xalias Von Dick Face. Let's stay on topic, shall we?" He let his pain show, now not caring. He grimaced as the hot pain slipped over his body. Muscular pain would remain with him for weeks after this.

Notes: He took the hit from Xalias, now in pain. However, he also used his last attack. He approached Xalias' left side and reared. He has attempted to grab hold of Xalias' left ear and try to pull it enough to either separate the ear partly from the studs body or at least cause enough damage to create blood spill. Name- Xalias Breed- Shire x Clydesdale Age- Five Gender- Male Height- Nineteen hands Alliance- Dark Health- 73% - has a bruised ribcage and a wide open gash behind his shoulder. He also has his ear ripped partially off, but it will heal in time, leaving a scar that runs along that side of his face by his ear line and a small uneven crook to the ear.
YOU'LL NEVER GROW UP TO BE A BIG ROCKSTAR, A CELEBRATED VICTIM OF YOUR FAME. JUST SLIT YOUR WRISTS LIKE CHEAP COUPONS, AND SAY THAT "DEATH WAS ON SALE TODAY."
Darkened, moonlit-tinged storm clouds hovered high in the atmosphere and blocked a portion of the meager moonlight that tried to cast frail fingers of light down 'pon the sodden and blood-soaked terra firma. Xalias could feel the rumble of the thunder through his colossal irons as he lifted his chin and fixed Snake Eyes with a glare that would freeze the blood of any lesser equine, his expression one of malicious hatred and disgust. He didn't know why he even bothered himself with the stupid little fucker - but, he wanted his wife back, and God damnit if he wasn't going to get her back. The cobalt Helkaer fuck seemed to have a fancy for women that weren't his - stealing them from their lands and hiding them away in his little dungeon until they no longer interested them. Snake Eyes may have gotten away with this before but he wasn't about to get away with it now - not when it involved Dreamer. If it had been any other mare - besides for Draxias - he wouldn't have given a rat's ass one way or another. Snake had successfully made a formidable enemy out of him.
A savage grin twisted and contorted the chapped flesh of his lips even as his salmon-hued tongue slipped from its confine to wet the outer exterior before it quickly retreated once again. He couldn't see the pained expression on the bastard's face, but he was sure that his attack had made contact, for as he had drawn back he could feel the rendering of flesh and the sound of hair ripping from the roots. If this hadn't been enough for him to be pleased with, he could taste the sharp copper taste of spilled blood as it gushed into his gaping maw from the wounds that his merciless enamels had inflicted. Drawing back, he kept his angered gaze 'pon the onyx czar as he spat out the mouthful of blood, a snarl lacerating the intangible atmosphere in a savage retaliation of defiance for anything that the world had to throw at him. This small stallion was nothing more then a hindrance that stood in his way - a small thorn in his side that he was intent to remove before he moved on with his life and continued to surround himself with those that he deemed worth it.
Only a few seconds passed before Snake Eyes mimicked an attack, his movements predictable and unoriginal as Xalias regarded him with a look of disdian, his obsidian nasal passages flared as he expelled carbon dioxide roughly back into the surrounding atmosphere. His tangled and blood-matted dreadlocks cascaded down the massive, rugged planes of his scarred ebonite facade as his emerald-green lanterns glittered with savage delight. He was tuned in on every coil of muscle that rippled on his opponent as his mind worked ferociously, his enamels clicking together almost mindlessly. The Green Mamba that had been previously coiled up in the confines of his thick mane now slid down the massive slope of his shoulder to unwind 'pon his back. Xalias paid it no heed as he kept his voids on his opponent, but he could feel the scaly reptile slither momentarily across the tense cords of his back before it slid down the rounded slope of his buttocks and to the blood-stained grass under foot. Good riddance. He didn't want the Mamba to die - and it was better off if it slithered out of the way.
Xalias had expected to have enough time to counter the attack, but even as he stepped back to ready himself he felt the smaller - more agile, Arabian mix-blood slam into his massive frame, his enamels going for the sensitive flesh of his hark and ripping downward in a fashion that bespoke his intention to rip it from position. It was an attack that Xalias wouldn't have expected - for he expected the fourteen point some odd hand Helkaer brother to try to take him down by the legs - or some lower body injury, thus when he felt Snake Eye's teeth clamp down on his ear it was too late. Deciding to wrench himself free rather then stand there like a dumb ass, the nineteen hand giant twisted his cranium up and away, a snarl ripping from his maw. Xalias gave a shake of his cerebrum, sending his dreadlocks slamming into the thick exposure of his nape as he felt for the extent of the injury, feeling the ear move with the movement a little more loosely then before. It seemed that Snake had made a good connection with that little bitch move of his.
Dinner-plate sized irons dug into the bloodied loam under foot as Xalias settled back, taunting and coaxing, mocking the Helkaer bitch and making him work for every movement he made. He could already feel the bruise hardening the muscle around his ribcage and making it a little harder to get a full breath, but he didn't pay it any heed as he kept his thoughts focused on Dreamer. She was why he was here, was it not? He wanted to free her - to protect her, even though he had been less then an adequate husband to her and he had cheated on her with not only Nitocris but Necropolis, too. Oh, he was pretty sure that she wouldn't be too happy when she found out all this shit had happened, but he couldn't exactly keep her from the information either - not with the possibility of children being involved. With this, he shook himself back to the current moment in time and focused not on the angered wrath of his hurt wife - but, instead on the now clearly pained expression of his opponent. Xalias smirked, his blood-slicked enamels revealed as he took a step forward, his chin tilted up even as his blood-stained alabaster maw gaped wide and a cold, sinister laugh emerged, chilling the entity. He wasn't going to run - no, he was going to stay right here, hot on the bitches heels as he ran in circles - and the wrath of Hell should repent and release 'pon him as he countered blow for blow, bit by bit, until he wore down this untrained child until he was nothing more then putty at Xalias' feet.
My imagination l Xalias Creativity level l Decent, started to die. Tunes l "I Hate Everything About You" Three Days Grace. He also took a direct bite to the ear and it ripped away the flesh of his ear - and when it heals it will be slightly mispaced. For now, the blood from the wound is making it hard for him to see and coupled with the stiffness from the previous attack, Xalias is beginning to become slightly fatigued.
[ NOTE TO TORUK] I'm going to go ahead and just say that he dodged his next attack since all I have left is a dodge. XD And then, after you post, we can go ahead and get this judged, if that is okay with you? ]

Time had passed slowly, and his mass seemed to know it was reaching its limits. His strength and energy reserves were emptying quickly. Snake Eyes watched the Xalias' pet slither away and he snorted, though it was softer than he had intended. His body felt heavy, and every step he took was agonizing. He felt caked blood on his crow colored pelt, and quite suddenly, a nap sounded pleasant. He sighed as he eyed Xalias, struggling to keep himself standing upright without falling over. It hurt to move and he felt his muscles scream and yell, protesting against every pull, every slide, every roll, but Snake refused to stand still. He'd make himself become sore just to prove a point, he would not give up, nor bow down to this giant.
His breathing was growing harder and more shallow. It was heavy and ragged as he struggled to keep it steady. Showing how tired he was to his enemy would be detrimental to his health. He shook his head, only to grimace and wince with the pain that ripped through his muscles. His body ached. His mind ached. He was tired and wanted to do nothing more than pass out. The czar kept pushing himself though. Xalias was keeping a watchful eye on him, and he knew he'd never live it down if he went down right now, right after their attempts at harming one another. He was a formidable foe, Snake Eyes now knew the sleeping monster he had awoken was worth the time he had taken to deal with this. He admired him for the tenacity and passion he put into this. Paper thins trembled with every breath as his entire physique shivered. Fickle beams of moonlight slithered through the heavy cloud cover, though it was shoved back into hiding once more as the dreary puffs of moisture moved forward to cover it up.
He hoped Xalias would not forget this encounter any time soon. He hoped he'd have made some sort of impact upon the asshole. He hoped his name would be etched heavily across his mind. For being a lighter frame and build, he held himself proudly, and would dedicate his ability to still stand after the beating he took to his heart and will. He was too proud to back down and let any weakness show. Whip cord slapped his hocks as he moved and eyed Xalias, nearly out of breath as it got even harder to breathe. It was nearing the final lengths of night and Snake Eyes shivered. His mass was getting colder, and he knew it was from the fatigue, pain and weakness growing within him. "Funny, how battered a tower can become. Although, with enough continual beatings, anything can and will fall. Eventually, time beats us all. I doubt any living creature will ever claim you, but time and Death will have you in the end, Xalias. And me. As well as every other living creature around. Even the great waters that cover the valleys, the cover the land masses will eventually dry up, never to be seen again. We are just a big part of a time bomb. Everyone has their expiration date. Some meet it sooner than others. Where do we sit? Where on that axle do we reside? That is never going to be answered, until that axle rocks and drops us, sending us to our fates and deaths. Our time to expire is not tonight, for we both are standing, this is true. But when? That is a question that we will never get the answer to." Snake spoke, he rambled, more to himself than anyone else. He shook his dome as he walked.
"I never did answer you earlier, fag. I never touched Dreamer. She's just been locked up, alone. But I've not let anything bad happen to the wench. No, she's had fresh and clean water, good greens to eat, and she has a large enough area to exercise. I may be part of a dark nation, but that does not mean I am manner-less. A woman will always be a priority, whether mine or not. They deserve some respect." He slapped his haunches with his whip cord. Just more to toss onto Xalias' plate. He was not lying, he'd always treat a mare with some respect, not always a whole lot, but some. Enough to make sure they're comfortable. Especially if they were under his care. Cerulean voids scanned the brutes bodice, tracing the contours of his frame. He was a beast, and Snake was just relieved he'd be making it out of here alive. For now. He was sure Xalias would find a way to get back at him. After all, Snake would not blame him. He'd do the same thing. He'd fight for what was his and he'd not rest until it became his again. That was probably one of the few things the two kings standing parallel to one another had in common. He'd never admit it to Xalias, or any other equine, but he admired the towering giant for such passion and devotion. Well, devotion to fight for his mate. He doubted he was truly devoted, what with potentially being unfaithful. Snake knew he had barely any room to talk, what with constantly tailing multiple mares, but he still appreciated his queens and other feminine figures that resided within his harem. He appreciated their patience. He appreciated them even more when they threw themselves at him. But now was not the time to think of that. Now was between him and Xalias.

His breaths are ragged and sharp, shallow and hard. -Times made it harder for Snake to walk, and due to his excessive movement, Snake Eyes is growing weaker by the minute. - Kept the same amount of words in all of the post as well as used a lot of purple prose in my mind.
- He seemed to have good reason to attack and did a lot of damage towards Snake Eyes. The biting by the neck was a good attack, but the trying to shake him didn't really seem that real to me.
- They both seemed like they wanted to kill each other for real.
- Didn't really see any major errors.
- Felt you had good detail without going over board on post length wise.
- I felt you could have been a bit more creative with his attacks.
- I like how the environment was included, especially taking into account the weather
Toruk & Snake EyesQuality Over Quantity - 14.5 No God Modeling or Powerplaying - 13.5 Realism of Attack - 12.5 Attack Compared to Opponent - 12.5 Completion of Form - 15 Spelling and Grammar - 13 Total - 81 points.
- Kept the same amount of words and quality, the amount of purple prose was tolerable and gave depth like you where almost writing a book.
- Attacked for the point of attacking, didn't really understand why he was fighting the battle.
- They did seem like they wanted to kill each other.
- I noticed a few errors like when he was talking about throwing in the towel. It sounded odd and could have been easily reworded.
- I felt you had good attacks, but not quite thought out as much.
- I loved the creativity of your attacks, however your last attack I felt would have been a bit far fetched compared to his opponent.
- Well written. I didn't think that there was too much unnecessary backstory - your posts were long, however relevant to what was happening.
- I was a little unsure of the attack that Snake Eyes aimed at Xalias' ear - even with him rearing up, with their size difference, it would be quite the stretch.
- Xalias aimed for pure power attacks, and while Snake Eyes taking a rip at the ear would be painful, it just doesn't quite compare.
- A couple of grammatical errors, and incomplete sentences
Sorry it took so long! Congrats to Phan with Xalias.
