Name- Adolpha Breed- Shire & Clydesdale Age- Seven Gender- Female Height- 19 hh Alliance- Dark Health- 100% Terms- Two hits & no dodges. Five days to post.
Her hooves dug into the dead earth. Red sand marking the feathering around her hooves. This land was far from home. So these are the battlegrounds? At first she question the area. They did not look like much and in her eyes the best place to battle would have been a beach or open field. Yet a desert seemed so far fetched. Eyes wonder the pervious battle marks and than came the scent of blood and death. This in fact was where the battle was to take place but this was not where either of them would die. It would be a simple win or lose battle. If she won then she would have a new herd member. If she lost that she wouldn't. There was no other terms set for her lose but she did not mind taking on that short of challenge. The mare after all was a Versai, they could make this more interesting. Despite what one might think, she did not know much about the groups that called this world their playground. Only that one was Dark and the other Light but none really better than the other. In her eyes if they wanted to rage war, than they need to do it with themselves and leave everyone else out of it. The same going for the royals. Shaking her head, the draft mare waited for her opponent to show. She was not nervous but she would like to get this done and over with. This would be her first battle. Mostly she just sit on the side lines for this type of thing or just take all the hits but for this, she asked for this.
Adolpha may not like stallions but she felt there was no harm in colts. They were young and could be molded into the type of stallion she like to see running around these lands. Not some testosterone driven fool but one that showed respect where it was deserved and kept it to himself. A stallion not driven but the thrill of a mare under him but running by one side as an equal. Driven by power he gained by battles and not enslaving some weak soul. That was the type of stallion she like by her side, if that was ever going to happen. Fro now she wanted to stay at the top of the food chain all by herself. As for stealing this colt, she just picked at random. Weather he had true potential or not was going to have to wait, until this battle was over. Adolpha wanted to win and was not the type to reply just on her size and power. Size did not matter, it was all about how you played your cards right. Eyeing the battlefield, she took note of the large cracks in the earth. These could be used to cause one to lose their footing. Than the red sand at her hooves, if kicked at, could cause a bit of blindness. It might sound like a way to play dirty but she did not see it what way. There was also no food or water here so once the battle start, there was no taking breaks. Adolpha needed to avoid being the first o tire out.
Adolpha wished her first battle would have been for the lands she now called her own. Yet the stallion that owned them before her never showed up in time and they were hers by default. Would he challenge for them back? Only time would tell but if he did she would be ready and he would have to have an army to back him up. The mare had so many plans for the herd. One of those plans having to do with a school. One for Darks only and young foals. They will learn the basic things it survivor and anything else hearts deserved. Adolpha's mind was open for ideas, even if she like just making up her own. For now, she needed to work on getting a herd together, than build it from there. She need herd members she can trust and allies that would truly back her up. It maybe hard to trust anyone these days but she would let them trust her. As for what she would do with the trust, it was her little secret. Finishing off her walk through of the grounds, she looked for her opponent. Shaking her head when there was no sight of her. This had better not be an other no show. Allowing the silence consume her, she waited. Keeping an close eye out for the Light mare.

Trinity felt her heart break as she looked down at the one month old, a sad smile appearing on her lips as she reached down and nuzzled him gently. "You won't lemme?" he continued, his voice high and childish. Trinity sighed, lipping at his mohawked mane, and gently licked his little cheek. "Mommy's gonna try real hard not to let the bad mare get you, okay? Now you just stay tucked up in the pine needles, don't you dare go anywhere. If anyone comes and tries to take you, run to Aurora, just like we practiced, okay sweetie?" It was amazing how this little colt had warmed her heart and weaseled his way into it. Trinity hadn't expected to love her child. She hadn't even expected to like him. But at his birth, once she had laid eyes on that duo toned bodice, she was in love and she was willing to do anything to protect her child. Xovad was her first and, honestly, would probably be her last unless she had the misfortune of being raped again, so he was very special to her. "I love you, stay safe," she murmured, giving him one last nuzzle before pulling away from his tiny infant body and stepping forward. She walked a few paces before tossing her head and picking up a gentle lope. She was warm and confident by the time she reached the Battlegrounds. There were others fighting and she avoided them, trotting around them until she came upon a lone figure. She didn't know what Adolpha looked like but she knew that the other mare was of draft lineage and this figure stood at at least eighteen hands tall. That realization unnerved her slightly and she snorted, slowing to a walk as she approached from behind. She was half tempted to charge at Adolpha's rear at her first attack but common sense told her not to. Instead, she walked to the right side of the draft, clearing her throat to announce her presence but saying nothing. Instead, she kept walking, going around in a circle slowly, sizing up her opponent. She looked for any scars of abrasions, any weak spots that could be used against the mare. Adolpha was tall, making her legs an easy target, but those legs were also large and powerful; attacking them would take skill and precision something which, thankfully, she had after so much practicing with the Versai. She practiced every day and conditioned herself by running and swimming, when it wasn't too cold. What did this mare do to condition and train herself? Chances were she didn't do much. Trinity was counting on that. Adolpha also wouldn't be as swift as Trinity was, giving the smaller, more nimble mare an advantage. Those large hooves would more easily get caught up on many cracks in the earth. They would also kick up more dust. And you know what they say - the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Trinity smirked at the thought before focusing on one of the more sensitive areas on Adolpha - her barrel. Trinity looped around her once more before suddenly, as she got to the draft's left side, whipping her hindquarters around and kicking up and out with both muscular hind limbs. She aimed to cracked a rib or two, or at least give some severe bruising. Either injury would make any movements harder for the larger equine, making her, hopefully, slower and less accurate. As he back hooves touched the ground once more, she bounced forward before pivoting on a hind dagger and facing her opponent. She snorted, lifting her head in defiance with dark brown eyes narrowed. She wasn't going to let this bitch get her baby boy. Xovad wasn't going anywhere. She had made a promise to him that she would try her damned hardest to keep him home. And if by some chance she lost this battle, all hell was going to break loose on Adolpha. She would get the rest of the Versai to back her up, to come to her aid. Her Sisters and Brothers would be more than willing to help her out, right? Hopefully. If not, she would just face Adolpha alone again and again until she got her child back. ooc: 2 hits, 0 dodges, winner gets xovad played by me attacks: 1 - kicked out at adolpha's left side with both hind legs, hoping to crack her ribs or leave severe bruising staff edit: image removed due to no credits on the table image.fleabittengray

Waiting for your opponent to show was the worst part of battling. Adolpha was never a fan of waiting. She would rather get things done and over with. If only Trinity would hand over her son. Than that would make this so much easer. Many parents left their foals for death. It was true, Adolpha could just find one and bring it to her lands. However, there was no fun i it for her. Plus, being the new face of the Dark she wanted to prove her wroth. True, she could have stolen a adult but she like the idea of having a foal around. They were easy to break and mold into the adult you want them to be. Such fragile things, where an adult would end up in a cell and beaten to death because it had a mouth on it. She had no desire to do that to the colt. He was going to be the first enrolled in her school and than molded into a great Dark stallion someday. You would think having her own child ripped from her she would have never done the same to another. Each day she remembers that pain. Having watched them rip her child apart and her mate. Their scrams echoing through her head. She would not want the pain for anyone but she could care less if it did. Lift was harsh but rather than let it get the best of you, she felt you need to over come it and make yourself stronger. So what if she was taking a foal from its mother. The colt would live to see its full life. It just would have a different mother once this was over. At least as long as everything went as planned. Adolpha knew that just because she was taller and larger, did not mean she would win. Every horse had its strength and weakness.
Soon enough the sound of a throat clearing brought Adolpha's attention to a lone buckskin mare. As much as she knew about the mare she was fighting today it was clear, this was her. No words were spoken and Adolpha watched as Trinity circled her. This made her raise her head with pride. A small smirk edging its way along her muzzle. She eyed the mare up and down, keeping her place and not letting this game get the best of her already. So, let the battle begin. The draft mare did train for this. Fighting just did not come nature as some would think. It took a lot fo hard work to fight and in the end it would pay off. If she did not win today at least Trinity would have a few scars to remember her by. With that the first move was made. Hooves hit her barrel hard. Making her lose her breath for the moment. Pain gathered up in that area but no move was made to lesion the blow. Their terms were clear, two hits and no dodging. Adolpha held her smirk, showing only a little sign of cringing. Weakness was not going to be tolerated. Yet the blow left some nice scratches and would soon bruise. Shaking her head and offering a small laugh. She acted disappointed and than pushed herself forward to make her own first attack.
Adolpha twisted herself so that she faced the left side of the other mare. Coming in close and lifting herself every so slightly up with her back hooves. Yet she did not kick out but arched her neck and bared her teeth. Aiming to take a good bite into Trinity's pole. Once she felt she had a hold of the mare, Adolpha started to pull and twist. Hoping to cause a good headache. Maybe even a bit mane missing or just a good scrape. After a moment of two her teeth slide away. Horse teeth were not the best when it came to biting flesh but she could try. This was her first battle, so damage could go any way. Moving away from the Versai, they each had one more attack, than once the dust settle the battle would be over. Already Adolpha had planned her next move, she was just waiting for Trinity's.
Hits- one two Dodges- None Allowed Attacks- - She took a bite at Trinity's pole and started to shake and pull at the area. Injures- - Scratches to her barrel and heavy bruising.

![]() Name- Trinity / Allocen Breed- Appendix Quarter Horse Age- 5 years, 5 months Gender- xx Height- 15.2 Alliance- Light / Versai Health- Physical: 1st attack - scrape on her poll from Adolpha's teeth; bruising; headache; pain from section of forelock being pulled out Mental: Chronophobia (fear of time), depression, PTSD (rape)
Darks really had never been her main enemy in life. They had never caused her a problem in her personal life up until recently. The first time had been when Aurora had been stolen by Rigor Mortis. She didn't want to think about that right now. The memories angered her and made her feel such guilt for not blocking her leader... and her crush. The woman she had fallen in love with but had yet to tell how she felt. No one knew what she felt for the snow white Versai queen and Trinity had planned on keeping it that way. There was no way she was going to risk her losing the mare's friendship, or her spot in the Versai. The Versai was all she had. It was all she knew. Without the Versai she would be lost. She wouldn't have a home and with Xovad by her side a home was something that she needed - that he needed! Which was part of the reason why she was not going to let Adolpha get him. She would rather lose her Versai position than see her baby boy go with some sick stranger from the Dark alliance.
The draft mare didn't seem to be intimidated by her circling. She stood her ground and even smirked a little, raising her head in what looked like pride. Trinity just snorted at her, not phased by her bravado, and when she felt her hooves make contact with Adolpha's barrel she smirked, lifting her own head in pride with narrowed eyes. The attack hadn't hit as hard as she would have liked, she hadn't heard the satisfying crack of a rib, but taking a quick glance at the other mare's left side she saw a few red scrape from where her hooves had broken the skin. Those scrapes would sting and if she had kicked hard enough to break the skin that probably meant there would be bruising and Adolpha's movements would be hindered slightly. Not as much as they would have been with broken ribs, but still enough to make her slower, hopefully.
But the mare surprised Trinity by quickly lunging forward. Trinity grit her teeth and stood her ground, knowing about the no dodging rule that they had agreed upon for this battle, but that didn't stop her from trying to jerk away when she felt teeth latch onto her poll. She squealed in pain, shaking her head to try and get the mare to let her go, but nothing worked. A throbbing started just at her poll and then expanded through her head as Adolpha pulled and twisted. It was a painful ache, an ache that would be there for a day or two, but finally the draft let her go. Trinity jerked back at the same time, causing some of her forelock to rip out of her poll, leaving a stinging sensation behind. Giving herself just a moment to breathe, the next second Trinity was leaping forward with her mouth agape, reaching for that toned right leg. The upper portion was what she aimed for, seeking to clamp her teeth around it and hopefully break the skin. That was what she was looking forward to, the taste of her enemy's blood in her mouth.

Name- Adolpha Breed- Shire & Clydesdale Age- Seven Gender- Female Height- 19 hh Alliance- Dark Health- 75% Terms- Two hits & no dodges. Five days to post.
Adolpha spat what she gathered from the bite she gave the other mare. Little blood taste in her mouth and a bit of hair. It was by no means a delightful taste but she felt victory. She knew of horses who ate flesh and drank blood fro a living. She could never attempt such acts. Preferring the sweet juices of an apple or the cool liquid water flowing down her throat. After this battle was over, she was looking forward to some water and maybe even a bath. Adolpha had heard of the hot springs within the free lands and the idea of the hot water hitting her pelt relaxed her soul. She made up her mind now, that was where she was going once this was done. With or without the colt. Adolpha knew she would have her work cut out for her. The colt surely attached to his mother by now. She would have to show him that she was better. That she could provide more for him and he would have so much more fun. An exciting life where he will grow up to be strong and that he did not need an other, he just needed her and the school. With more foals in her herd, her plan would be to distract him rom his troubles. This way he would never want to go back home and always choose The City Of Thrones. Yet if the Versai won, Adolpha would not try again. It would not be that big of a deal for her and she could always try an other foal. One thing was for sure, she wanted to win. Adolpha would not want the Versai mother to rub the win in her face. Surely she would be laughed at if she lost.
No matter the outcome, she expected the backlash. The group of Lights would turn on her and try to make life hell for her. She was not scared. Let them come, they would be in for a wild ride. Adolpha wanted them to come and try their best. It would be just something to add to her name. A sting of pain hit Adolpha from the wound first created. Bringing her back to what was going on and what needed to be done. This was not over with and she needed to focus. Shaking her head, she eyed the Versai waiting for that's last attack. Than she would be able to do hers. Why no dodges you ask? It just spiced things up. Who needed to dodge, for Adolpha she like to wear her battle wounds with pride. Watching as the mare gave herself a moment to breath the next and last move was made. The Versai leaped forward with jaws wide open. No movement was made but the need to move away was there. Adolpha felt teeth latch onto her right leg. Holding back the eager to kick the other mare away. Adolpha glared but than realize she could take advantage of this attack.
It turns out, kicking was a good idea after all. So while the Versai bite at her leg, Adolpha kicked with her free one. Aiming for whatever she could and knowing that the other mare could not move away. An attack was an attack, no matter how low of a blow it may be. She kicked as hard as she could, wanting to make it count. As for her leg, she would not know the damage for sure but she would be limping after this and there would be blood. She wonder what that felt like for the Versai, to taste someone blood. To her, it was just proof that Darks and Lights had more in common than what they think.
Hits- one two Dodges- None Allowed Attacks- - She took a bite at Trinity's pole and started to shake and pull at the area. - Kicked with front left leg, aiming for whatever she could. Mainly the face or neck. Injures- - Scratches to her barrel and heavy bruising. - Bite mark to leg. Bleeding and will cause Adolpha to limp for a few weaks.

Adolpha was not that great of an opponent. Thus far, no remarkable maneuvers had taken place. Even she herself had avoided doing anything too damaging, not wanting to give away just how much she knew about fighting. She would save that for later, should the draft ever want to come back and torment her after she won this battle. Trinity just knew that she would win. She had to. This could be life or death for her baby boy and at just a month old little Xovad was much too young for death. The little red-eyed tyke needed to stay young and innocent for as long as possible. She wanted to give him the perfect childhood that she had never had. She had grown so attached to the palomino overo so quickly... she loved him more than anything. He was her life now. Everything she did usually revolved around her son. Even this battle revolved around him. With her breath slightly heavier than it had been before the battle began, she glared at her opponent with blood lust in her eyes. She had that feeling in her chest, a feeling she hadn't felt in years. It was a lust for blood, for death. She wanted to kill this bitch. She wanted to skin her alive. She wanted to torment the larger equine until she begged for mercy. It showed in her eyes, her murderous gaze locking onto Adolpha's figure. She was not going to win this.
When her jaws clamped around the upper portion of Adolpha's right leg and the metallic taste of flooded her mouth, she bit down even harder. She wanted to rip out a section of flesh from the mare's forearm. She wanted to give her a good scar to remember her by. She began to pull back on the leg, holding it tightly in her mouth, seeking to cause as much pain as she could, but suddenly let go with a sharp inhale of breath when she felt a large, hard hoof collide with the lower portion of her left leg. The leg buckled, sending her onto her knees. She cursed, forcing herself to stand back up and ignore the throbbing in her leg. She placed her dagger on the ground and slowly applied weight onto the appendage. The pain increased and she let out a hiss of anger, shooting another quick glare at the draft minx. "You stay away from my son or I swear to God I will kill you," she snarled, her tone venomous. She backed away a few steps, limping as she did every time she had to put weight on her injured leg. The injury would remain for at least a week, which would make her life more difficult. Great. Just what she needed.
"The next time you mess with the Versai, you're dead, bitch. Do you hear me? Dead!" She snapped her teeth at the mare, a threat that she would be more than willing to keep. If Adolpha came anywhere near her son or any of the other Versai members she was going to track her down and destroy her. She cast one last glare at the mare before turning and walking away - well, more like limping away. The pain in her leg was severe but she didn't think that anything was broken. At the worst, her bone may have been chipped from the kick. Her head was pounding with each pump of her heart and she grit her teeth against the pain, her banner flicking in an unamused manner. She was not enjoying this whole fighting thing. She didn't like being hurt. How was she supposed to take care of her child when her head was throbbing and she couldn't put any weight on one of her legs? Those were problems she would solve later, once she got back home. For now, she just wanted to get out of the blood soaked battle grounds and as far away from Adolpha as possible. She needed to make sure her baby boy was alright.

Malice with Adolpha
Quality over Quantity: 12,5 - A nice quantity but the quality did not match. -Sentences were choppy and seemed very rushed. The spelling and grammar errors were distracting. - Post was good for quality, however it seemed she should use more commas instead of periods. Some sentences seemed like they needed to be connected. No God Modeling or Power Playing: 13 -Adolpha would not know Trinity's true name, because she's a Versai. -Slight Power Playing - It was fine except this;"Once she felt she had a hold of the mare" Realism of Attack:15 -Realistic -I found them to be realistic - Most horse fights usually they grip at the horse as their attacks or kick/lash out. Malice did exactly that. Attack Compared to Opponent: 14 -I felt Trinity's attacks were more thought out and described -Attacks were clearer than the opponents - Malice's attacks were more defensive, and little attacks. Completion of the Form: 15 - Form was completed correctly. - Completed Spelling and Grammar: 11 - A few spelling and grammar mistakes. - Many spelling and grammar mistakes to the point where they were distracting. Re-read your posts! - Sentence structure could have been a little better
Total score: 80,5
Gray with Trinity
Quality over Quantity: 14,5 - Would have liked to see more description of the scenery. - Very well organized. - An interesting read and had a nice quality to quantity ratio No God Modeling or Power Playing: 15 - Did not see any - No powerplaying or anything. Made sure she said "wanted to do this damage", not "did this damage". - Nothing that I noticed Realism of Attack: 15 - Lashing out and kicking is what horses usually do during fighting. - Realistic - Attacks were realistic to me. Attack Compared to Opponent: 14,5 - The attacks were well thought out and well-written. - Attacks could have used a bit more description. - I felt Trinity's attacks were more thought out and described Completion of the Form: 15 - Completed - Form completed correctly. Spelling and Grammar: 14,5 - Did not see any mistakes - Mild spelling and grammar errors. - Used a few good words, spelling was great.
Total Score: 88,5
