Gladiator Tournament Round 6 USE the same form, in the same way as in Round 1 (you can go to posts in round 1 to find it) <- important to read the form over from round 1 to freshen your memories.
THREE days to reply, 2 replies per person. Gladiator Style = you do not have to wait for the opponent to show up, he is already in the ring and person that goes first can start attacking in post number 1. You need to make sure you have the surroundings and weather conditions right through out your post
SURROUNDINGS & WEATHER CONDITIONS - The temperature is around 5°C now. (41 F). The dark clouds that were creeping in are now over the tournament ring. The ground is extremely slippery since now the snow and ice have started to melt in the heat. So watch out for how you land, it's easy to break bones on the slippery ice. OH WAIT what's about to happen, a pouring rain has started to fall from the dark clouds.

Name- Zana's Rose Breed- Arabian Age- Six Years Gender- Mare Height- 14.3 Alliance- Neutral Health- 100% Mental - 57% Physical Past injuries Round One: 1 - She was bit on the neck, it is a moderate laceration that is bleeding. Will take a few weeks to heal over properly. It is likely to scar. (Is no longer bleeding by now.) 2 - She was bit on the rump, not as deep as the neck, but it's definitely going to be sore for a few weeks. 3 - Scrape across her chest, very light bleeding. (No longer bleeding by now.) 4 - His teeth scraped across her left cheek, tearing some of the skin off and leaving a rather large laceration. Bleeding quite a bit. (Lesser amount of bleeding now.) 5 - She was bit on her right hock, taking some skin off and it will leave her lame for a week or two. Rount Two: 1- A bite to her neck that has ripped some of her mane out as well as some flesh. It will bleed moderately and will take a few weeks to heal properly. Scarring is expected of the area and her mane will grow back thinly there. (Not so much blood now, but it will bleed if touched again.) 2- Due to Quantum's kick, her last few ribs will have bone bruising (inside layer of bone is fractured) that will take several months to heal completely due to the inner bone not healing as fast as if it were the outside fractured. Severe pain will be caused by this accompanying fast movement or turning. There is a small laceration where his hoof connected that is only slightly bleeding, but the area will bruise and be sore. (No longer bleeding.) Round Three: 1- Gaping bite in her neck, will bleed and be sore for weeks. (Is bleeding only a little now.) 2- Bruise on her cheek as well as scrape on her neck. 3- Scrape across the skin above (to the side a little) her right eye. It will bruise later, but will bleed a bit because it's a facial wound. (It has stopped bleeding for now, but can easily be reopened.) 4- Bite on her ribs, will bleed moderately and bruise, but will heal over in a week. (Has slowed bleeding for now unless reopened.) (4.5- Her hind leg that was previously injured is acting up and in more pain now. However due to missing two battles, the pain has faded out and will only act up if hurt again.) Round Four: Zana had a pass. Round Five: Quantum did not post. (Due to these two battles, she's had a short time to rest. Most of her bleeding has slowed.)
There had been a small amount of break time since the charcoal colored mare's last bloody encounter. After the last battle, she had been passed through to the next round because of the numbers being uneven. In the round following, her opponent had never showed his face. Zana had to admit she was glad for the breather, especially because it was a stallion she had already fought and beaten once before. That made two opponents that she had sent home from the tournament. The thought still surprised her, despite having done it. There were only three gladiators left and she had not expected herself to be placed among them. She almost wanted to laugh at the absurdity that a small mare such as her had come so far. In the back of her mind, she began to hope that she would win just for the bragging rights. Even if she fell now, she hoped that Respira would be proud that she had come so far. She hadn't had very many interactions with her leader, but the mare felt a bond nonetheless for her female leader. It was probably one sided, but Zana didn't really mind. The thought that she was fighting for her herd drove determination into every step she took back into the arena. She favored her hind right leg, but not nearly as much as she had when limping out of the last round. The break of two rounds had given her just enough resting time to walk a little more normally. The mare hoped this would be enough to tilt the battle in her favor once more. Her new opponent was not a stallion she had ever met before, though that wasn't new. His name was Praetorian and she was surprised to see the bay stallion in the arena. She immediately slowed her pace on seeing him, casting her eyes to the ground to look at how the ice had fared. It was a far cry from the pristine snow that coated the arena during her first battle. Instead, the ground was now a trap of slippery ice and water. It had warmed up considerably and she realized the dark clouds were now directly overhead. In all honesty, the mare just wanted to get these battles over while she could still limp home. As Zana further examined the ground, she decided that it might actually serve better than during her last fight. The ice had melted unevenly enough that there were small divots and if she was careful, she could use them to push off of. She knew a problem she had before was not having anything other than flatter ice to try to gain a foothold on. She had hoped the worn surface would help. She paid close attention to her hooves as she approached the bay stallion, careful not to slip. The mare was determined not to screw everything up just because she slipped before she even attacked, especially not now that her wounds had just stopped bleeding all over the place. It was worse enough to be considerably more injured than the other gladiators, but she damn well didn't have to show it. However, it seemed that the weather was in her favor as the rain began to come down almost immediately during her approach. It was gentle for a moment, only to turn into a full out downpour. She had to admit, the rain felt a little nice as it washed away the blood from her dark coat. It stung her wounds, sending spasms of pain along the nasty bite on her neck and forced her to turn her head a little on it's side to avoid her cheek from being hurt. However, the bite of the rain was a reassurance, she welcomed the water to wash away any nasty dirt the other gladiators had left behind. The mare actually felt her mood lifting again and she turned her thoughts back to the fight at hand. Introductions weren't really her thing, so the mare remained silent as she circled with her left side ending at the stallion's left side. Once she was within a reasonable biting distance of the bay, she tossed her head quickly and raised her front hooves up in a showy hop. She hoped the sudden movement would kick start him into action and make him think she was rearing, to fake him out. Just as quickly, she swung her head back down and lashed out with her hind hooves. Her left hoof struck out with much more force, though that had been partial reasoning for her to approach him with her left side to him. She aimed for the tender inside flesh of his foreleg and underside. If he had reared, she hoped for a much more painful impact, but overall the girl just wanted him to become lame. As her hind hooves were returning to the ground, she reached out and attempted to bite his gaskin. If she could land her kick and give a nice bite to his hind leg, she hoped that it would keep him from moving too much on the ice. Still sore from before and cautious of the footing, the last thing she wanted to do was chase him all around the arena or get out of the way of a charge. She felt way too old for that kind of play.
