The black mare was now excited for adrenaline was now pumping threw her body at an alarming rate. She was getting a chance to get new scars, ones that she could wear proudly. Though she had many of them already, but what harm could a few more do? Fresh ones would bring in some pain, at least until it healed up. Shaking her head, she pranced forward into the battle grounds. The mare was new to this land and she was trying to make the best start for herself. Though challenging others might not be the right way to go about it, but she didn't mind. Tossing her head into the sky, she had agreed to meet the owner here in a few days time. She was ready to fight, ready to see blood spill upon the earth. Something about inflicting or receiving pain made everything worth while for the mare.
Snorting softly, she flicked her ebony tail as she stood in the dried up waste land. The land seemed dry, but that wasn't what go to her. The earth was stone hard and it was almost unbearable, it even hurt her hooves as she stood there. This was going to be a battle to remember, because the damage the land it's self could do to you would be like nothing else. She had gotten there about pre-dawn, way before she could get a real good look. But the sun was starting to come up and the heat was coming in waves, almost like she was standing at the gates of hell. But she would deal with it one way or another, only because she wanted this land and she wanted it now.
Snorting lightly, she pawed at the earth as she heat started to rise. It was going to be a hot one and she wasn't sure that this would be a fair fight, but the heat would be hard on them both. But while she was waiting there was no shelter from the heat, so she carefully walked around the land. Once she arrived near the cliff, she looked down at the dried bones and the half rotted corpse of challenger. She snorted and stepped backwards, hearing the sound of hooves hitting the harden sand stone. Letting out a light growl, she pranced back towards them before flicking her tail. "It's about time, let's get this started." she spoke before she tossed her head again.
Attacks: one, two, three Blocks: one, two Post Breakdown: She's waiting for Stella to show herself, looking at the land in the process.

Name- Stella. Breed- Andalusia x Hanoverian x Arabian x Paint. Age- Two. Gender- Mare. Height- Fifteen point three hands. Alliance- Dark. Health- 100% She couldn't believe it. Since when had it become alright for a complete stranger to walk into a land that they knew nothing about and challenge it? Did this mare that she was up against even realize that she was disrupting the only family that she had left? The very last memories that she had left of her mother? This wasn't just a business arrangement to duke it out for the rights of Desolate Ruins, it was a battle straight from the heart; one that struck chords deep down in her soul. This woman - this careless woman - she was interfering with the sole reason for her existence and Stella wouldn't let her take it away because without her mother's land to lead she was nothing. This battle was a battle straight from her heart, led by her determination and ferocious need to cling to the things that mattered to her, and today that thing happened to be walking away from this battle as the victor. She would make her belated mother, Tainted Love, and her estranged father, Incognito, proud. She would not let them down.
Her troubled thoughts faded to the back of her mind as she moved across the dry, cracked surface of the Battle Fields, all her senses alive as her piercing cobalt-blue eyes scanned the flat land looking for the black mare whom had come and challenged her only the day prior. She did her best to keep calm, keeping her anger under wraps as she tried her best to think about the impending battle ahead but the intense heat made it hard for her to concentrate on anything other than finding some kind of reprieve. Rivulets of sweat dribbled down her neck and ran down the slope of her shoulder, darkening the sable-brown color to a chocolate brown as she walked further into the Battle Fields, moving toward the south end where she had heard that the battles took place. Would her nameless opponent be there waiting for her or would she have to advantage of being able to look around and assess what she had to work with? She was running a little bit late due to the fact that she had to let Israfael know where she was going so that he didn't worry and to discuss what they would due if they lost the ownership of her mother's lands and it had taken her longer then she had thought, but she would work with the lack of time. It was all she could do. She couldn't get nervous now, not when there was so much on the line because she knew that her nerves would interfere with her ability to think clearly.
The sable champagne sabino splash mare could feel the heat seep into her pores and the humidity weigh her down and for the first time in her life she was thankful for her Arabian heritage. She wasn't full-blown Arabian but it was definitely noticeable that she carried it in her bloodline with the delicate planes of her face and the lighter frame of her body. If it wasn't for the lack of a dished face and the slightly thicker neck and hindquarters, one would think that she had more Arabian in her than she actually did. She didn't know if it would help her in this battle but she had once heard from her mother that the Arabian horse had wider hooves to carry them easier across the sands of the desert, for the breed was originated from middle east and was often referred to as the 'horses of the wind.' She had obtained this knowledge from the various history lessons that her mother had given her through the years; yet another fond memory. Another little fact that she knew was that the lung capacity of the Arabian horse was a little larger than average, which could potentially help her inhale more oxygen to fuel her body during the battle, but there were downsides to the different breeds that ran through her body. While she may be quick to move on the sand she knew that her slightly larger mass would make it easier to weigh her down, so to speak, and could potentially make her clumsy. She also knew that her bones may be a little less stronger than those of her opponent, although she was not certain of her lineage but she strongly suspected some sort of foreign ancestry. All Stella could do was hope and pray that everything turned out in her favor and that she would be able to keep Desolate Ruins.
Her elegant sable-brown ears swiveled forward when she saw the sleek and somewhat larger black frame of the mare that she had seen in Desolate Ruins the day before. Stella approached her calmly, doing her best to keep her emotions hidden as she lifted her chin slightly in a muted sign of defiance to the slight doubt that had crept in her mind. She knew from her mother and father that to show weakness was to show the opponent that they had the upper hand and the last thing she wanted to do was give the black mare any more of an upper hand than she already had. For crying out loud, the black mare was beautiful and dangerous, she was well over sixteen hands and she looked to have more life experience than Stella, who had just turned two a couple of months ago. How could she compete with that? She highly doubted that this was her opponent's first time in the Battle Field and she equally doubted that it would be her last either. Stella could only rely on her quick wit and her ability to use the land around her to aid her through this battle, coupled with the training she had received from her father when she had been younger. At first she had detested the fact that she had to get up so early every morning to go through the training rituals but now she was relieved; her mother and father had only been looking out for hers and her sister's best interest.
When she was within speaking distance, Stella gave no indication that the other mare's words had effected her and she merely inclined her head a fraction of an inch in a sign of acknowledgement as a small smile flickered on her lips; indication of her thoughts being lightly amusing. "Shall we?" The gentle chimes of her voice rang clearly through the humid atmosphere as the blistering sun scorched her pelt and the land around her as her ears melted against her skull and became lost in the sea of her mocha-brown mane. She would not waste time on petty words that would be forgotten after the battle. Sh was not here to start a verbal war when it was a given fact that they were here to entice physical blows in the art of the battle for a specific land; opponents of something that was important to both of them in their own way. Stella didn't blame black mare for wanting to call Desolate Ruins hers but she absolutely would not allow it. She would die to protect the land she called home and the residents within that were becoming her family.
With this, the smaller mare leaped forward, her hooves digging chunks of the compact, dried land out from underneath her and used the element of her agility to hopefully allow her attack to follow through and make contact. Keeping her senses clear and her mind unmuddled, the daughter of Incognito and Tainted Love kept low, knowing that if she was to expose the sensitive flesh of her stomach that the other mare could easily inflict serious wounds so she propelled forward and lunged toward the throat latch of her opponent, her teeth bared and her blue eyes full of purpose. At this angle she would more than likely collide with the larger mare of possibly make her unsteady, and ideally her teeth would connect with the bottom of the neck with the intention of latching on there and holding on - whether the mare thrashed enough to break her hold or she remained attached ( or even connected at all ) would be entirely dependent upon how her opponent reacted to the sudden charge, if she did at all. Stella drew back instantly, her mane flying wildly in her face, caught by the hot breath of the desert wind as it billowed past her and the bones of previously fallen warriors scattering under her hooves. She knew that she needed to put as much distance between her and her opponent so she could collect herself again and so she shook her mane out of her face but her opponent was nowhere to be seen. Looking around quickly, she moved backward -- and that was when she heard the sound of hooves and her heart rate accelerated. Where was she? Only time would tell.
Attacks: one, two, three
Blocks: one, two
Post Breakdown: Stella has arrived at the Battle Fields and she has lunged for the throat latch of the taller mare with the intent to use her agility and quick attack to try and knock the taller, older mare unsteady and/or connect with her throat latch where she intends to latch on and rip a piece of it away. She doesn't know if she has connected and when she draws back she is unsure of the whereabouts of her opponent but she can hear her -- I've left it open as to whether or not Stella will see her attack or not.

Name- Saint Augustine Breed- freisian Age- 7 years Gender- mare Height- 17.0 Alliance- dark Health- 93% - a large gash on her lower neck, missng flesh and also bleeding a lot down her legs and onto the ground.
The older black mare was a veteran when it came to fighting, after all she had done it all of her life. She had no personal attachments to these lands, so it would put her at a disadvantage compared to young mare. It was all about who wanted it more and by god, if the younger mare had enough fire she had a shot at winning this. Stray had no intention on fighting to the death and she would fold if the mare tried such a thing, because a land was not worth death between the two of them. She was only wanting a home, some place she could live and bring new members to live. She wanted to lead and possibly one day take over, but that would be a long time from now. She might not even get to that before she died, after all she was about six to seven years old. She was starting to enter the prime of her life and boy did it feel like it.Long legs held the mare upright as the shorter mare came into view. Their height was something that both of them could use against each other, though she wondered how it would play a part within the battle. Tossing her head high up into the sky, the black scared mare pawed at the earth. It was a sign of a challenge the way that had done the movement, wondering if the mare would start the battle.
The air was tense with the heat and the tension between them both, as one waited for the other. But the challenger was not the first one to attack, it was the challenged that made that move. Stray had called the mare outright, now it was only fair that she gave the challenged the first hit. Cocking her head to the side, she braced her big body for the impact that she was about to receive. Hooves sounded as the mare launched herself forward into an attack and Stray was not about to let her down. Launching forward onto her hind legs, she raised herself upward as she kicked outward with her front legs. The mare's attacked each other at about the same time, though it was only after the challenged had latched onto the lower part of her neck. Kicking hard as she could with her front legs as she reared backwards. Stray had aimed for just about anything that she could get her hooves on.
But as soon as the two of them had attacked each other, Stray quickly parted from the other. Moving off into the distance a short direction, she tossed her head and snorted. Feeling the blood run down her chest and drip onto the ground. It was going down her leg as well and the pain she felt was almost unreal. Growling at the other, she gave a loud snort, before she ran towards the mare to attack once again. Teeth bared and hooves ready to fly, she charged at the mare hoping to kick her in the head. But after all, you never know quite where your attacks will land you. She gave a growl as she moved into the attack, trying to brace herself for any sort of a counter attack.
Attacks: one, two, three Blocks: one, two Post Breakdown: She reared up onto her hind legs to meet Stella in her attack, attacking the mare with her hooves in retaliation. Stella had latched onto her lower neck, tearing flesh from her neck. Then after she broke away, she moved to attack again using both her teeth & hooves, while her aim was for Stellas head.

Name- Stella. Breed- Andalusian x Hanoverian x Arabian x Paint. Age- Two. Gender- Mare. Height- Fifteen point three hands. Alliance- Dark. Health- 93% - Stella has a large cut on the right shoulder from the impact of her opponents hooves and several deep bruises on her neck, causing a sharp ache spread through her jaw. It has made her slightly dizzy but it only lasted for a handful of seconds and it has worn off. She is a little bit stiff on her right side so she is doing her best to shield it. Her teeth connected with the pliant flesh of her opponent and for a second Stella congratulated herself on her first successful attack. It was a big deal, it meant that she had actually retained some of the information that she had learned from the training sessions at her father's house in Lachlan Breck. At the time he had been teaching them how to fight the sable champagne sabino splash mare had been unsure if she would ever make use of the battle training but now she was thankful for having paid attention. Her father might not have been much of a dad to her and her twin sister when it came to actually spending quality time with them but he had made sure that they were capable of taking care of themselves when the situation arose. So many times she had wondered why and now she knew; she would have to make sure to track her father down later on when she had the chance and thank him for the life lessons because now she finally understood.
The black mare struggled against her hold and brought Stella back to the scenario at hand and she pinned her ears closer to her skull. She didn't pin her ears down in a sign of aggression but instead to make them as small of a target as possible. She had heard stories from those that had talked to in the past about how the first place that was usually attacked in the beginning of a battle was the face and anything near there became a casualty in the struggle for dominance. Stella wasn't a materialistic type of mare but she valued what she did have and she wasn't keen on the thought of losing an ear. As it was the mare that had come to challenge her for the right to own Desolate Ruins did strike for her face, trying to break her hold on her neck. Stella felt the sharp sting from the contact of the opposing mare's hooves catching her shoulder, the edge of the hoof tearing into her sweat dampened skin and cutting it open. Stella grimaced, trying her best to keep her hold on the mare's neck but when she felt another glancing blow on her neck and she instinctively relaxed her jaw muscles and stepped back, shaking her head to try to rid herself of the dull ache that spread up from her right shoulder and into the right side of her cheek. Damn, she was going to feel that later when she was able to actually think about it. In response to the pain that she felt from the attack of the black mare Stella let out a sharp growl that rumbled forth from her throat; the only external sign of discomfort that she allowed to show.
It was then that the fifteen point three hand two year old looked back toward where she had just backed away from and she noticed that the taller black mare was no longer there. A split second of confusion settled in and her eyebrows drew together on her forehead. Where had she gone? For being a larger mare she could definitely move fast. Stella felt the sand underneath her hooves shift and she knew that she had to respond fast or she would be blind sighted by the attack and so she stepped to the side lightly, her wide hooves helping to aid her in her quick movement, and she spun around just in time to see her opponent charging toward her with her teeth bared and her hooves flailing as she reared up above Stella. Shit. It felt like time was moving in slow motion as she launched herself upward as well, trying her best to shield her right side, thus leaving her left side vulnerable for attack. Stella's mind was running wild. Sweat dribbled down her face and into her eyes and she did her best to blink it away and it was then that she knew what her next attack would be. How come she hadn't thought of it sooner?
Stella dropped down low, flinging her body to the right and coiling around her injuries to keep from any attacking blow on that side. It wasn't the most well-thought way to dodge the attack but it was all she could do to minimize injury in the amount of time that she had. As she moved, the sands shifting under her, she felt the weight of her opponent as she started on her downward descent from rearing up and Stella knew it was now or never to make an attack on the sensitive underbelly of her opponent. She had learned from both her mother and her father that the most sensitive areas on the body to attack where those that weren't used or touched that much, hence why she instantly thought of the throat and the stomach. She could only hope that she connected. Releasing a silent prayer inside of her mind, she moved quickly out from underneath the black mare and dropped her head down so close to the ground that she could almost kiss the sand and she kicked out with her hind legs as hard as she could in an effort to catch the mare in the middle of her body and deal some sort of damage. The last the smaller mare had known was that the taller opposing mare was broadside to her and she was fairly certain that her attack would hit either the side of her stomach or near the front of her shoulder, possibly even her neck depending on if she had bent down to try and attack Stella as soon as she had noticed what she was trying to do. Oh, she could only hope!
Her piercing cobalt-blue eyes were filled with determination even as she blinked the sweat out of her eyes, not letting the stinging sensation deter her from the battle that was taking place. It was all she could do to bear the heat, for it was almost intolerable but Stella had a long line of fighter's in her heritage and it was showing in this moment. Her dark brown lips peeled back to expose her stained teeth from the attack she made earlier, pieces of the opposing mare's fur stuck in between them. She didn't know who would come out as the victor but she knew that she would fight until the dirty end for what was hers, and God dammit, Desolate Ruins was hers. It was the first time that she truly believed that and a ferociousness settled deep in her bones as she stood her ground, waiting for the next attack, her neck lowered slightly to keep it even and her head lowered. It was the stance of defiance; of acceptance, and Stella was accepting. Let the battle commence, she was ready to take on whatever was thrown at her regardless of the level of damage it did to her. It was war and she would be the victor if it was the very last thing that she did.
Standing there as she was, Stella looked to be at a disadvantage to the scarred black mare but she knew she was young and agile; she had the advantage of youth and agility. As she waited, her heart thundered against her rib cage and her breathing was loud; heavy even, but her eyes were far from defeated. She had come into this battle with the idea of not saying anything in order to get the battle over as quickly as possible but she couldn't help the syllables that fell from her parted lips as the first ever grin of arrogance morphed across her features. "Is that all you got? It can't be this easy. It's like stealing candy from a child." It was a blatant taunt to get under the skin of the fiery black mare in the hope that rage would consume her. If Stella could get her angry enough it was possible that she could perhaps do her best to predict the next attacks because they were normally made hastily and fueled by rage, leaving them blind to reason. The only thing was she didn't know this mare and she didn't know how she would response so she could only wait and see. That's exactly what she did as she lifted her head slightly, an eyebrow arched under the fall of her matted forelock and all but ignored the humid desert wind that lifted the ends of her mane from off of her sweaty neck and then set them back down again. It was as if the wind was an anticipatory audience to the battle that had come, secretly whispering in a language unrecognized by the equine intellect. This was it. This was what she lived for; fighting for what she believed in.
Attacks: One, two and three
Blocks: One and two
Post Breakdown: Stella has successfully connected her first attack and she bit down harder on the throat of her opponent but her hold was knocked loose when the hooves of her opponent crashed down on her right shoulder and her neck, ripping the skin open on her shoulder and causing a deep bruising on the right side of her neck. She was dizzy when she backed up and so she lost sight of her opponent and was only able to turn around and counter the attack barely in the shifting sands and she decided to drop down lower instead of duke it out in a foot lock rear and so she dodged out from underneath her opponent, shying to the right to protect the right side of her body as much as possible and then she spun in an effort to catch the black mare with her back hooves as she kicked out at her in an attempt to catch the mare broadside; hoping that her attack would catch her in her stomach, the near shoulder or possibly her neck, depending on how the black mare responded to her dodge to the second attack.

Name- Saint Augustine Breed- freisian Age- 7 years Gender- mare Height- 17.0 Alliance- dark Health- 85% - a large gash on her lower neck, missing flesh and also bleeding a lot down her legs and onto the ground. She now has a large gash going from her armpit/shoulder up to her neck and down to her chest.
Life almost never went as planned, atleast that was what Stray had learned. She would fight for the rest of her life, atleast until she died. She didn't know if this battle would be her last or if it would be the first of many for herself here. Tossing her head, she snorted lightly as she felt the pain from her injuries. It was nothing compared to the scars on her legs from the fire years ago. She knew what it was like to feel pain day after day, until the wound healed. She could only wonder if the shorter mare had ever felt such a thing. Tossing her head again, she gave out a light growl as she carefully watched. Burnt red eyes where on the look out for any sort of movement, after all the hard ground had started to turn into sand. Their force had been enough to knock it loose, and she could only wonder what it was like here when it rained.
Snorting softly, she pawed at the earth again as things began to change again. She knew this mare was a fair fighter and she would be proud to call her friend one day. Granted if they could both get along after this fight. Glancing back, she knew the final attacks where coming for them both. In the midest of their fighting and the hooves and teeth that where flying between each other, the pain of the next attack came for her. It was a swift attack that graced the underside of her shoulder and on up to her shoulder blade on the other side. She had barely enough time to dodge the main blow from the attack. A deep gash lined her shoulder now and it was oozing out blood by the minute.
Tossing her head and letting out a snort, she looked at the other mare with a fierce look. Giving one last though to the shorter mare's position after the attack, she would go for it. Rearing upward on her tall legs, she aimed to slam her front hooves onto the mare. Her aim was from the shoulder, chest or upper part of her legs. It would be a painful move if she hit just right, but she would try anything after all.
Attacks: one, two, three Blocks: one, two Post Breakdown: She took most of the blow that Stella gave her, barely able to move out of the way from serious damage. But in hopes of getting Stella when she was down, she reared up on her hind legs and hoped to slam her front hooves on the shoulder, chest or upper legs.

Name-Stella. Breed- Andalusian x Hanoverian x Arabian x Paint. Age- Two. Gender- Mare. Height- Fifteen point three hands. Alliance- Dark. Health- 80% - Stella has a large cut on the right shoulder from the impact of her opponents hooves and several deep bruises on her neck, causing a sharp ache spread through her jaw. It has made her slightly dizzy but it only lasted for a handful of seconds and it has worn off. She is a little bit stiff on her right side so she is doing her best to shield it. She has a limp that has started from the stiffness and the bruising has spread. Stella had to blink back the sweat that dripped down her forehead and into her eyes, burning them as she did her best to keep her focus on the black mare but it was getting harder to do with the wear and tear she had received from the battle. It had been an exhausting and excruciating hour and the time just seemed to drag on. How much longer could she endure the physical altercation of this battle? Already she could feel the pain radiating up and down her spine from the blows that she had endured and from the use of muscles that she wasn't used to using. She could feel the trembling beginning from the fatigue and she did her best not to concentrate on it. It would do her no good if she lost focus now... She had to try her best to keep the exhaustion from catching up to her and slowing her down. It was times like these that she was glad she had youth on her side.
Piercing cobalt-blue eyes landed upon the black mare and it seemed like time froze. Her erratic pulse thundered within her veins and her breathing was harsh; labored even, and only a few seconds had passed but it felt like the inevitable slow motion time frame of an impending wreck. She knew she wasn't going to be able to dodge this attack in time but she tried anyway. She threw her weight backward, knowing that she would be at a full disadvantage by exposing her stomach but it was the only counter move that she could make with the time that she was allotted to respond. Stella pushed off of the ground, letting her front legs raise up to collide with the taller mare, feeling the heavy blow of her opponents driving hooves. It was all Stella could do to keep from passing out as she bit down on the sensitive flesh of her cheek hard enough to make it bleed, doing her best to avoid letting any sound of pain escape from her parted mouth. An explosion of hot carbon dioxide was released into the intangible atmosphere as the sable champagne sabino splash mare felt the warm slickness of blood course down the front of her chest and spill on to the sand under foot.
One of the taller black mare's hooves connected with the same shoulder that her first initial attack had been on and it ripped the tender and damaged skin even further, slicing into the pliant flesh deeper and causing a white-hot flash of pain to escalate through her entire body. Stella staggered back a step as the second hoof of her opponent caught her square in the chest, knocking her breath out of her. It was all the smaller mare could do to keep her feet under her as she felt the dizzying effects of exhaustion swarm her mind. For a split moment Stella thought that she was going to pass out and she prayed fervently inside of her mind to keep in the game -- even just for a little while longer. She had no idea how long this battle would continue on for but she knew that no matter how tired she was that she would fight for what she believed in. There was no better way to prove that she meant it then to actually do it; to put words into action and follow through with it... There was absolutely no way that she was going to let Israfael down, nor any of the other herd members that they had in Desolate Ruins. She was her mother's daughter through and through and the blood of her father ran strong within her; a born warrior ready for the call of battle even when she had been unsure of herself.
The metallic scent of blood filled her flared nostrils as she shook her head, her ears still pinned to her skull as she dropped back down on all fours and lunged forward quickly - although clumsily - and aimed her bared teeth toward the same place that she had attacked before; on the throatlatch. Stella was too exhausted to try anything any more extravagant and she knew well enough that once the skin had been weakened that it would be easier to rip into the second time around but she was unsure if she would even be successful in the attack. Several strands of her sweat dampened mane clung to her face as the sable and ivory adorned mare kept her back toward the cliff wall and her face toward her opponent; tired but unwilling to let her defenses down as a low growl built in her throat, her eyes glittering with a fierce defiance unbeknown to her before this encounter. Who would have ever thought that the previously shy, quiet youngest twin would have grown up to be fierce in her own way? Stella could only wish that her mother was still alive to see her now - but if that was the case then Stella wouldn't even be battling to begin with, it would be her mother. For one split second the smaller mare felt sorrow overcome her and her face fell... What she would do to have her mother back in her life - or even her father for that matter, but she must continue on with the hand that had been dealt to her and right now was not the appropriate time to feel sorry for herself... She was a warrior, God dammit, and she would fight to the bitter end. Desolate Ruins was hers. Attacks: One, two, and three.
Blocks: One and two.
She was barely able to move back from the attack of her opponent and it grazed down her right shoulder again, causing the cut to spread open wider and wet the front right side of her body. She is too tired to do any extravagant attack and so merely lunged for the same spot she first attacked when she had initiated the battle; the throatlatch, knowing that the skin would be weakened.

Roleplayer & Character: Kal with Saint AugustineQuality over Quantity: 11.5Comments: - Posts were good for their length, but I feel like things were repeated/could have been said better. - Lots of grammar mistakes that made each post difficult to read since they all seemed rushed and not well thought out.- Attacks lacked detail and the second attack was difficult to follow/understand. - Her posts were of good size and fast-paced. Exciting to readNo God Modeling or Power Playing: 13Comments: - Nothing I could find.- She snorted and stepped backwards, hearing the sound of hooves hitting the harden sand stone. Letting out a light growl, she pranced back towards them before flicking her tail. "It's about time, let's get this started."she spoke before she tossed her head again. <- This was in Kal's first post, before Phan was even given a chance of saying that her character had arrived at the Battlefield.- She knew this mare was a fair fighter and she would be proud to call her friend one day. <- It has been stated multiple times throughout this thread that the mares do not know each other nor do they know anything about each other.Realism of Attack: 14Comments: - Attacks were realistic. - The first attack was realistic.- For Kal's second attack, kicking Stella in the head would be realistic, but in the first half she says that Saint Augustine charged at Stella, but then says that she tried to kick Stella in the head. In the post breakdown, it then says that Saint Augustine kicked and bit at Stella's head, but in her post itself it doesn't mention any biting, just kicking.- Third attack was realistic.- Very well thought out. Written out in good detail (not too short or long) as well as realisticAttack Compared to Opponent: 12.5Comments: - While the attacks were realistic, I felt both attacks were the same. - The first attack was not detailed at all and was harder to picture due to lack of detail.- For the attack where Saint Augustine went to kick Stella in the head, it was hard to follow, as stated above.- They were written in a bit faster pace and so the excitement felt stronger cause it went a bit fasterCompletion of the Form: 15Comments: - Completed correctly. Spelling and Grammar: 9Comments:1. The black mare was now excited for adrenaline was now pumping threw her body at an alarming rate. She was getting a chance to get new scars, ones that she could wear proudly. Though she had many of them already, but what harm could a few more do? Fresh ones would bring in some pain, at least until it healed up <- This sentence structure is awkward and doesn't flow neatly. The same goes for the rest of the sentences. I found them not properly formatted, sounding more like run on, rushed sentences. To be honest, every post was structured like this. Everything felt jumbled together and rushed.2. The land seemed dry, but that wasn't what go to her. <- The "go" in this sentence should be "got."3. This was going to be a battle to remember, because the damage the land it's self could do to you would be like nothing else. <- The "it's self" in this sentence should be "itself."4. Snorting lightly, she pawed at the earth as she heat started to rise. <- The "as she heat started to rise" in this sentence does not make sense.5. Once she arrived near the cliff, she looked down at the dried bones and the half rotted corpse of challenger. <- This should say "the half rotted corpse of a challenger."6. She snorted and stepped backwards, hearing the sound of hooves hitting the harden sand stone. <- "Harden" should be "hardened" in this sentence.7. She had no personal attachments to these lands, so it would put her at a disadvantage compared to young mare. <- This should say "compared to the young mare."8. Stray had no intention on fighting to the death and she would fold if the mare tried such a thing, because a land was not worth death between the two of them <- In the form, it says the character name is Saint Augustine, but here Kal calls her Stray. She calls her Stray quite a few times. I don't think she uses Saint Augustine at all, actually.9. She wanted to lead and possibly one day take over, but that would be a long time from now. <- What does this mean? It doesn't make sense to me. If she is leading, doesn't that mean that she has taken over the land? Needs more clarification.10. Tossing her head high up into the sky, the black scared mare pawed at the earth. <- I believe that Kal meant to type "scarred" instead of "scared."11. It was a sign of a challenge the way that had done the movement, wondering if the mare would start the battle. <- "The way that had done the movement" is not proper grammar. I believe Kal meant to say "the way that she had done the movement."12. The mare's attacked each other at about the same time, though it was only after the challenged had latched onto the lower part of her neck. <- "Mare's" should just be "mare's." 13. Kicking hard as she could with her front legs as she reared backwards. <- Sentence fragment. There were many sentence fragments throughout the posts which made the flow of the posts... not sure how to describe it. Kind of awkward, I guess? They were just kind of there and didn't seem to fit in.14. Moving off into the distance a short direction, <- This part of the sentence didn't make sense.15. Life almost never went as planned, atleast that was what Stray had learned. She would fight for the rest of her life, atleast until she died. <- "Atleast" should be two words, "at least."16. Burnt red eyes where on the look out for any sort of movement, after all the hard ground had started to turn into sand. Their force had been enough to knock it loose, and she could only wonder what it was like here when it rained. <- I don't really understand this. They are in a desert. It is all sand.17. Glancing back, she knew the final attacks where coming for them both. <- "Where" should be "were."18. In the midest of their fighting and the hooves and teeth that where flying between each other, the pain of the next attack came for her. <- "Midest' is spelled incorrectly. My autocorrect doesn't supply the correct spelling but it does that that it's not spelled correctly. Also, once again, "where" should be "were." 19. Giving one last though to the shorter mare's position after the attack, she would go for it. <- "Though" should be "thought."TOTAL: 75 Roleplayer & Character: Phan with StellaQuality over Quantity: 14Comments: - Posts were very heartfelt and well written.- There were some things that were added to posts that could have been left out. At some points, posts seemed to drag on, mainly the first post where it goes into her history with Stella's mother. - Sometimes the posts were a bit too long, and info could've been left out without missing itNo God Modeling or Power Playing: 12Comments: - Nothing I could find.- She knew that she needed to put as much distance between her and her opponent so she could collect herself again and so she shook her mane out of her face but her opponent was nowhere to be seen. Looking around quickly, she moved backward -- and that was when she heard the sound of hooves and her heart rate accelerated. Where was she? Only time would tell. <- Kal did not have a chance to say how her character reacted or what she did, at this point.- she spun around just in time to see her opponent charging toward her with her teeth bared and her hooves flailing as she reared up above Stella <- Kal never actually said that Saint Augustine was rearing. She just said that Saint Augustine kicked at Stella's head.- Standing there as she was, Stella looked to be at a disadvantage to the scarred black mare but she knew she was young and agile; she had the advantage of youth and agility. <- Stella would not be able to interrupt how her stance seemed to Saint Augustine. It had already been stated that they were strangers and knew nothing about one another, therefore Stella would have no way of knowing how Saint Augustine would see her.Realism of Attack: 15Comments: - Realistic.- Attacks were believable and easy to pictureWell thought out and realistic for their situation.Attack Compared to Opponent: 14Comments:- While they were realistic, I felt they could have been more thought-out. - Attacks and dodges were more detailed and easier to picture.- Sometimes they were written out with a bit too much detail and so one attack could take up to 0.5/1 a paragraph. Made it less exciting cause it took longer to read.Completion of the Form: 15Comments: - Completed.Spelling and Grammar: 10.5Comments: 1. Her troubled thoughts faded to the back of her mind as she moved across the dry, cracked surface of the Battle Fields, all her senses alive as her piercing cobalt-blue eyes scanned the flat land looking for the black mare whom had come and challenged her only the day prior. <- On WE, the board is called "Battlefield," one word with no s.2. She was running a little bit late due to the fact that she had to let Israfael know where she was going so that he didn't worry and to discuss what they would due if they lost the ownership of her mother's lands and it had taken her longer then she had thought, but she would work with the lack of time. <- The "due" in this sentence should be "do."3. Sh was not here to start a verbal war when it was a given fact that they were here to entice physical blows in the art of the battle for a specific land; opponents of something that was important to both of them in their own way. <- "Sh" should be "she" in this sentence.4. Stella didn't blame black mare for wanting to call Desolate Ruins hers but she absolutely would not allow it. <- This should say "Stella didn't blame the black mare."5. At this angle she would more than likely collide with the larger mare of possibly make her unsteady, <- This didn't quite make sense.6. It was a big deal, it meant that she had actually retained some of the information that she had learned from the training sessions at her father's house in Lachlan Breck. <- Horses don't live in houses. Lachlan Breck also does not, to my knowledge, have any human structures.7. She had heard stories from those that had talked to in the past about how the first place that <- "From those that had talked to in the past" should be "from those that she had talked to in the past."8. Stella felt the sharp sting from the contact of the opposing mare's hooves catching her shoulder, the edge of the hoof tearing into her sweat dampened skin and cutting it open. <- In the beginning, it says that Stelle felt both hooves make contact with her, but then goes on to say "the hoof." Had it been both hooves that attacked her, "a hoof" should have been used instead of "the hoof." Using "the" instead of "a" suggests that it was only one hoof that made contact with Stella, but Phan had already said that it was both hooves that had made contact.9. <- This sentence starts off fine, but quickly stops making sense.10. As she moved, the sands shifting under her, she felt the weight of her opponent <- This didn't make sense to me. How exactly did Stella feel Saint Augustine's weight if she had dodged the attack?11. but Stella had a long line of fighter's in her heritage <- "Fighter's" should just be "fighters."12. The only thing was she didn't know this mare and she didn't know how she would response so she could only wait and see. <- "Response" should be "respond."13. feeling the heavy blow of her opponents driving hooves. <- "Opponents" should be "opponent's."TOTAL: 80.5
Winner is @phantasm with Stella.
