{Envy}
{Akroma}
She needed a break; a chance to clear her mind from the world she had placed herself back in. Akroma had truly missed being Queen- but there was a sense of peacefulness that came without the title. Nowadays it seemed like a different equine wanted her attention every day. She was constantly summoned- some she did not mind, but others she had to put her Queen panties on and suck it up. Then there was Xerxes. Oh gosh where did she start with the monstrosity that was known as her King? He was no different… or at least he hadn’t started off any different. Superior King that wanted to put it in anyone besides Akroma. Incognito had lusted after Tainted Love- the painted Queen that sat on the throne before she had. It was the first reality for Akroma to learn the just because you were King and Queen did not mean you would lust after each other and fall in love. They had a foal, strictly on the fact of an heir for the throne though. She had thought that maybe, maybe he would fall for her. His affection was fleeting though and his actual appearance didn’t last much longer. He had ran off in search of Tainted Love- leaving a pregnant Akroma on the throne, alone. So then came Grizmar. My was he handsome and funny. His arrogance coming out in sarcastic comments that were just enough for her to actually find joy in them. It was short lived though. The moment the power sat upon his shoulders, the tyrant King sought to destroy everything she had worked for. The bridges she had built giving her secure alliance had been burned to the crown due to her crazed King. His attention also turned to another, Artemisia. The thought of the Queen Mother sent a shiver down Akroma’s spine. She would never be fond of the afterlife bitch. They had got off on the wrong hoof, perhaps too much alike to ever get along. They created a creature that was wrapped in perfection and didn’t fall far from his Father’s tree. When Grizmar died and Akroma disappeared, it was Xerxes who took the throne and got control of the Dark Lands. He fought and reasoned with the Helkaer but his Queen was useless. Akroma reappeared and he picked the best of the worst to sit beside him on the throne. Akroma has her ruling position back. Blood alliance my ass. Akroma mumbled under her breath as she thought to the moment Xerxes had told her about creating a blood alliance with the Neutral Queen after she had just beaten him in battle. Deja-vu had never hit so hard. Hypocrisy was thick at that moment. Had he not just expressed his anger of Charisa sleeping with Toxic to create an alliance before he left for war? To in turn do what?! To do the same exact thing. Akroma had an alliance with the Neutrals, he just had to talk to her first. It was not an alliance he sought- it was a piece of ass because the one beside him on the throne was not good enough.
Fight after fight arose on this topic. Xerxes was done and exhausted with it- claiming he wanted to bed her, but actions always did speak louder than words. He drove her absolutely crazy. He was a better leader than his Father ever would be. He had a kindness to him that she enjoyed and even when she was furious with him- he could flirt with her and touch her and it would fade. Akroma was weak for him, so weak. But she fought not to be. Fought to hide any signs of weakness or lust. He had wished to bed another and Akroma was not going to be any boy’s second choice. She refused to be the whore Queen she had always seemed to be. Her spot on the throne was to devote herself to her Alliance this time around- not to fall for a King who played her like she was a pawn in a game of chest.
Nares flared as sticky oxygen passed through, filling her lungs to their full capacity. Three, two, one. she then exhaled. The semi-leopard, overo wench had to stop focusing on the past and she had to cut Xerxes a break. The envy within still boiled deep in the pit of her stomach. Chaos, Neutral Queen; too busy chasing after the Dark King and getting what she wanted- she didn’t even bother to seek out the Dark Queen. It was disrespectful. Akroma always wondered what type of beauty this Queen must hold for Xerxes to cave. He was rugged and handsome. His masculine bodice carved to perfection and the aura he protruded was regal and dangerous. Whores flocked to him, why wouldn’t they. Powerful and handsome with his reign just beginning. Of all the bitches, it was Chaos to turn his attention.
Deeper and deeper she travelled. Sixteen point three hand bodice moved silently along the moss covered lithosphere. It was early morning, but the canopy overhead allowed very little early sun to peak through its foliage. The rainforest was an unforgiving place to those that were mentally and physically weak. Vines seemed to come alive in attempts to strangle you. Eerie noises flooded your eardrums becoming deafening. Today, an especially thick mist hung in the air, visibility only twenty feet or so. Between the thick smog and humid temperature, the smell was powerful and putrid she began to feel dizzy from the very stench- but at least she was a lone.
Graceful gait came to a halt as the path before her suddenly broke off into two different ways. Which direction? The left will take you to the one you call King- he’sssss hunting. The left is sssssomething much more peculiar. Feminine dial whipped around as the muscles beneath her taut canvas tensed. Duo colored gaze saw nothing. She strained through the thick mist but no silhouette, no stench. Nothing. Who is there? Akroma’s lyrics got lost in the smog, but she was quickly answered, Down here, preciousssss. Gaze dropped to the mossy floor to see an albino snake coiled neck to her. Three emerald jewels rested upon his arrow shaped head. He was a large snake and looked very much out of place. Akroma was speechless. How was this possible? How was a snake talking to her? Had the fumes messed with her sanity in such a way that other species were now speaking her tongue? The righ will show you what you have been dying to sssssee. It will put you faccccce to faccccce with her. Invisible eyebrows furrowed. Her? Who was the snake talking about? How is it ye can speaketh to me? Akroma had many questions- but this needed to be addressed first. The Underwold does work in mysssssteriousssss ways. She needed no more explanation. The Underworld had powers she could not even comprehend… but could she trust?
To the left was her King supposedly, hunting to prevent the darkness from consuming him. While she wished to spend some one on one time with her King away from the real world- she wished not to disturb him. To the right was someone this snake thought she wanted to see. Curiosity gave in and Akroma let her bodice head to the right. Was this snake setting her up? Silently she moved and the snake followed, almost escorting her to the prize for this direction. The snake had stopped and so did Akroma. She is jussssst ahead. Akroma looked down at the emerald adorned reptile, Who? Her lyrics were slightly irritated as she began to felt like this was all a big hoax. Perhapsssss your King would have bedded you over her if you dropped your attitude. The snake then laughed before slithering away- Akroma stood motionless, watching the emerald and albino snake leave. She could read between the lines. Chaos, this snake had led her to Chaos. She was finally about to see the very creature that resolved around the fights between her and Xerxes.
Sixteen point three hand bodice decided to go off trail, taking a route that would have her well protected behind foliage- and with the mist she should be able to look at this mare without her being noticed. Azure and mocha optics shifted through the openings of the foliage- waiting for the silhouette of another to appear. Just as she was beginning to think the snake had played a joke on her- she sees the soft outline of another. Standing, resting. Akroma freezes to make sure she is not imagining before she creeps forward. The silhouette coming more into detail; her heart sank. Before her stood a creature of such natural beauty. Her silvery dapple bay hue was unique and exquisite even in this terrible lighting. Her orbs the brightest, richest shade of blue before turning ice. She was not very tall, nor large but she was built with finesse. Ivory markings graced her feminine façade and elegant limbs. She was stunning. It was no wonder Xerxes wished to bed her. Fury grew inside Akroma exponentially. The Dark Queen was used to men lusting after her, but this beauty had gotten in her way. She would not be able to gain the affection of Xerxes with one so gorgeous around. You cannot. You must not. Xerxes will be furious if he knows you killed the Dam of his unborn foal. Then again, he does not have to know. Sell your services to the Underwold to keep the issue quiet with them. Kill this girl and enjoy your King knowing you won’t have to worry about her appearing. The voiced fought in her head. Rationality losing the battle bit by bit. Killing her seemed… right.
Do it already! The deafening voices yelled at her and finally she gave in. Muscles coiled and then launched her bodice through the foliage. She was close enough the Chaos would see it happen- but her reaction time would be next to nothing. Akroma was going to kill. Only one would be left standing, one survival was the only outcome. Xerxes could have but one and Akroma wished to tear that beautiful façade off the perfect creature before her.
