ps goodbye
{i won't fight for love, but fight for my country and what should be done}
She had to do it. He was going mad. Crazy. Insane. Three strikes, you’re out. Xerxes was no longer Dark King. He had returned from war ready to kill, Akroma had skinned a chunk of her own pelt to feed him. To subdue it just enough for him to go hunt. Strike one. Lush was giving birth and he was there- ready to eat the unborn foal and Lush herself. Strike two. A guard had gone missing in the first snowfall of the year. Akroma was approached and told her attention was needed in the royal cavern. It was there where Xerxes had killed the guard and eaten him bit by bit. When confronted- he was still ready to kill more guards. Strike three. He needed help. His cambion side was causing the King to go crazy and he was a danger for the Dark alliance, for the Royal herd and for herself. She had to remove him from the throne and have him escorted out of Lachlan Breck. He would need to hit rock bottom before he found a way to better himself. Clearly she was not enough to do it.
This was Akroma’s third King now. Incognito, Grizmar and now Xerxes. They have all failed each other in one way. The semi-leopard, overo wench knew she would have to crown another- but she had business to attend to first. Since before taking the throne- she vocalized her distaste for the alliance with the Helkaer. It was one she could not get behind. Eventually, Xerxes admitted he had no desire to keep it as well, just wanted peace for the herds for a short while. Well she was done with the peace. The Helkaer would need to be sent a message that Xerxes was no longer on the throne and that the alliance, as they knew it, was herby withdrawn. It needed to be a bold message though. Sending a guard to deliver such news seemed too miniscule for this event. She wanted to let the Helkaer know she was not fucking around. A warning inside a message… if you will. She had sent her guards on a mission. To capture a guard of the Helkaer and to bring him to her. He would be the carrier of this message.
Days passed by without a sign of her guards. Akroma did begin to worry- had they failed their mission. Had Sly and Respira captured them and slit their throats- only to behead them and deliver their heads? She would not put such volatile actions past the rebellious crew. She was sure they would take enjoyment in such activities. To be honest, Akroma would quite enjoy beheading each and every one of them. So in a twisted sense- she understood.
As the 4th morning rose, finally her guards arrived- with them a stranger. She hoped they belonged to the Helkaer. Akroma waited in the cavern as the guards lead the beast to the cavern… shackling him to the wall.
Arkoma moved towards the brute. He struggled in the chains- but could not reach her. I was hoping ye would not make this easy. She smiled slightly as her ivories then tore into the taught flesh on his neck before skinning away a large chunk of outer flesh. Blood rose immediately to the surface. She wished to send this messenger back a bloody mess. So him willing to not participate was in line with what she planned. The brute grunted as she skinned a chunk of him. Again he rustled the chains but he still looked fierce. Strong. Akroma would break him. She circled around the large brute… Ye will tell thy commander… Her words trailed off as she shifted her weight backwards and let a foredagger slice open the side of the brute. A long, diagonal strike with force across his ribs. The skin peeled but the sound of crunching ribs is what caught her attention. The brute now tried to move away from the blow that would surely result in fractured, if not broken, ribs. Ye will tell her that King Xerxes hast stepped down from the throne. His face changed ever so slightly- her lyrics clearly a surprise. He would not be the first to be shocked at such news.
Akroma now maneveured herself and let a deathly double barrel kick aim for the front point of his shoulder. His reaction to the pain was immediate and as Akroma turned she could see he chose to favor bearing weight on it. Dislocated shoulder should make the travel all the more fun. Tell thy commander that the alliance between the Helkaer and the Dark Royals is officially broken. And should she, or any brainwashed minion, try to target the Dark Royals, there will be payback. Perhaps more of her children wish to visit Charm. Akroma laughed slightly to herself before she began to leave the cave. Guards, bloody him up a bit more and then send him on his way. Make sure he can still deliver this crutial message still. And with that Akroma left. She was certain he would deliver the message. And the news of Xerxes falling from his throne would travel throughout the lands as well. Let a new King rule- although, Akroma was wondering if it would just be easier to not have a King. Let him have the image but she was tired of growing close. Their leaving always hurt far more.

thoughts; I tried to make it pretty basic. Let me know if you aren't ok with anything and want it changed. But here is the thread we talked about.
