She was worried about her mother. Okay she was always worried about her mother, but this time was different. Aurora was stolen for the first time in Serendipity's short life and she wasn't sure what she was supposed to be doing. The smoky black youth was the unofficial heir to the former Versai commander's throne and she figured she should be doing more than just wandering Rosemonde's boarders looking for intruders and training. Aurora had been waiting to give her more responsibility until she was made an official Versai heir. They had been planning the ceremony where they tested her purity and accepted her into the Versai community. After that she assumed the new title would follow. All of that was delayed by every Versai member being stolen or running away. Mother had warned her it happened often and now that their "fearless" leader had ditched them, Allocen had been put in charge. Seren knew that her mother had always secretly wanted Allocen to have it after her. Aurora had spoken of how much of a better Versai commander Allocen would be than all of them. Serendipity didn't know if she could agree to that or not. She had only seen the mare from afar so she trusted her mother's judgement.
The young lass was unbelievably bored doing the same crap day after day that she decided to wander out. Not only was she wandering outside of Rosemonde she planned to visit Lyrarcor as she had heard through the grapevine that Allocen had returned after being stolen by the dark king. Ironically, or not ironic at all since the Versai always had a target over their heads, it was the same place her mother was supposed to be. She wondered if Allocen knew anything about what they were doing with her mom. Maybe there was something Seren could do to help get her back so she would have something to do besides the same shit over and over. Would Allocen even like her? She wasn't exactly the ideal heir being bred of a former Helkaer and a Versai. Hell she even had her father's iconic mark plastered on her right shoulder. Serendipity didn't mind it actually, she thought it made her look pretty tough. She smiled thinking of waltzing into a dark land with a skull mark saying "yo I am a Versai and I am about to mess some shit up." She laughed at her childish thoughts as she loped toward her destination. It wasn't a long journey before she arrived at Lyrarcor's boarders. The young mare was barely winded, making all that training her mother was making her do totally worth it.
Seren slowed her pace and walked gracefully toward a great meeting spot. She stopped suddenly nervous. What if Allocen didn't like her, and then told her mother she would never allow her to be an heir? Pools reflected her nervousness as they turned teal almost making her more worried and anxious. Maybe she should just go home and wait for Aurora to introduce them. The young mare took a deep calming breath. Get ahold of yourself. Your mother's one night stands are not your fault. Her conscious seemed to help her calm and she refocused on her mission. Seren hoped that Allocen would appreciate her effort and that maybe they could create a bond like the one her Aurora and Allocen had. Hopeful her eyes shifted to a golden color as she raised her crown and called for the commander of the Versai. Allocen, it's Serendipity. I would love to speak with you She called out with confidence even though the nerves were still twisting her stomach into knots.
