Land Guide
how it works
To create a universal map of Wild Equines, we have created a guide to the Lands within Wild Equines. This guide is most useful when it comes to claiming or challenging for a land, and it will help you understand to what extent you can manipulate the land to your own use/desire.
Each land is numbered, starting from the top of the category. Each alliance category (Light, Neutral, Dark) has 5 mainlands and each canon category has 3 mainlands (a fixed number, will not be changed). So for example, starting from the top of the Light category, the first board, also the Royal lands, is Light Land 1. The last board is Light Land 5.
Each land description is copyrighted to it's creator, and may not be used by anyone else unless the creator has approved it. This means that if someone claims the current land, they must either ask permission of the previous land owner to use their description, or create their own. How this works with the land guide is that every land has been assigned a "base environment", such as an island, a forest, a lake. Each land description must maintain this base environment, however the owners of the land may describe it and adapt to it in any way that they wish. For example, Neutral Land 5's base environment is a forest. The first owner described it as an boreal forest, one with many pine trees. Upon land ownership being passed to another owner, they changed it to more of a jungle forest to fit their design. As long as it keeps with the base environment.
Below you will find a guide of each mainland, and what base environment it has. Please address this guide when claiming or challenging for a land and creating a land description.
