x RASA The war progressed more and more each day. Rasa was tired of the tension, of the dramatics, but she knew in her heart that war had been the right decisions. She had to fight for what she believed in. She could not just sit back and watch and live a life of neutrality (as much as she would like to). She had never been an extremist. She had always tried throughout her life to be kind and understanding, despite all of the hardships that she faced. Her mortal life had been tough, especially once Antichrist got his hands on her. He had been a monster, completely unhinged and unlike any beast she had met. Even Charm wasn't as unholy as Antic had been, though perhaps she was biased, considering Antichrist had been the man to enslave, assault, and eventually kill her over a period of years. She hated him, so much so that it still angered her to think about him, but her focus could not be on the past right now. These days, she had to stay in the present and hope for a brighter, happier future. A future where peace would reign and darkness would be triumphed over. Was that so bad to wish and to hope for? Tonight, her wandering hooves had brought her along to Geysir. It was a dark night, the moon in the phase of a waning crescent - the only light tonight came from the stars that twinkled above her. They looked so small, being so far away. Rasa found herself wondering if she would be able to fly out toward the stars, or if she would tire out if she attempted such a thing. Surely the stars couldn't be that far away, right? Surely they couldn't be so far that they were unreachable by those with wings? Which lead her to thinking, wondering, if the birds ever thought about going to the stars. Then again, most birds would be asleep when the stars were out... Chuckling quietly to herself, the sound seeming so loud in the still night air around her, the Lady of Utopia continued on through the geysers. She did not have to worry about the boiling hot water lingering on her pelt, but instinct still kept her a safe distance away from them. faeriiefox w/ Chidea 383 | ProfileFor them to have a current time meeting/thread <3 20 years 3 months, autumn, evening, after her war thread with Nasuada

The pale and bloodred mare had been walking all over what felt like the whole of these lands by now, looking in and out for her family. She had seemingly found at least her half brother, at the side of her adoptive mother, the Lady of Utopia. In more ways than one that had surprised her very much, and she had not recognized her brother at all when he had come up to her. Her hesitation had been slowly turned into excitement, and she had been over the moon to finally find someone who knew who she was. It was terribly lonely to be without anyone that she loved, to be without anyone who remembered who she was before that day. Of course, she knew that her adopted family loved her, but she had never been able to shake the feeling of wanting to know, was that so strange? Walking the geysers, she felt a series of emotions go through her while she was thinking about the subject. She had yet to talk to Cadence again since that time, nor to her adoptive mother, but she wished that she'd bump into her soon, she had been waiting at the family home for a while afterwards without any luck. The lady of Utopia was busy at times, with the war and everything, and although the young mare of course understood that, she couldn't help the want and need of her adoptive mothers' embrace, her comforting words and confidence. She felt like they had so much to discuss once they met again. That was why it almost felt like fate slapped her when she suddenly saw movement in the corner of her eye, a familiar colour of pelt. It felt like her breath hitched before she raised her head to look at the older mare, a face so familiar to her, more so than her own. "Mother!"A happy little whinny left her before she started off to join her side, keeping away from the burning hot erupting pillars of water, not wanting them on her skin. After all, compared to her mother, she actually could die from the hot water if she was unlucky enough to fall into it; or at the very least burn herself beyond recognition even if she survived. x RASA The war did keep her busy. She had to return to Utopia often enough to keep her strength up, while also going down to the mortal realm as much as she could, to make negotiations and meet with allies, as well as with enemies. She was determined to do all that she could to secure a win for Utopia, one way or another, without too much chaos and bloodshed. There had already been several battles fought in the name of Utopia against those that fought for the Underworld. Rasa did her best to keep tabs on everyone and everything but she was only one being, one horse, and could only do so much. But she was trying. She just wished the rest of the angels would try harder as well. She hated feeling so negative about her own followers but they just came across as so lazy and unsupportive, especially now. There were a couple that were doing what they could to help, but would it be enough? Was what she and Cadence were doing enough? "Mother!" The all too familiar whinny of excitement caught her attention, abruptly pulling her out of her cryptic thoughts and putting a bright smile on the angelic leader's face. She nickered an equally happy greeting, dong a half-turn to the left in Chidea's direction so that they could begin to walk side by side. "Chidea, darling, how are you?" she said in that motherly, adoring tone she often used with her kin - be they adoptive or by blood. Nearing the dual-painted maiden, she reached out and touched her muzzle to the girl's ivory cheek, falling into step beside her. "It is so good to see you. I am sorry I have no been able to come see you sooner. I have been so busy with everything! I'll try to be more present, going forward." The wing nearest to Chidea unfurled, stretching above and around the other mare before curling in a gentle sort of "hug" from the winged angel. "I've missed you! How are you fairing? I do hope all is going well in your life. Have you any plans for today, or the next few weeks? Perhaps we can make plans to meet again, sooner this time. I would like that."faeriiefox w/ Chidea 378 | ProfileShe loves her family very much <3 20 years 3 months, autumn, evening, after her war thread with Nasuada

Chidea felt a surge of warmth flood her heart as she heard the familiar voice of Rasa calling out to her. Despite the weight of their current situation, the mere presence of her never failed to bring a sense of comfort and reassurance. "Mother!" Chidea's own voice rang out with genuine affection once more, a smile breaking across her features as she turned to face the radiant figure of the angelic leader. The sight of Rasa's outstretched wing, reaching out in a gesture of embrace, filled Chidea with a sense of peace amidst the turmoil of their ongoing conflict. There had never been a doubt about the love between the pair, Chidea loved her adoptive mother just as much as she probably would with her realy mother, had she remembered her. As Rasa drew near, Chidea leaned into the gentle touch of her mother's muzzle against her pale cheek, savoring the comforting sensation. "I'm well, mother," Chidea replied, her voice tinged with warmth and gratitude. "And please, there's no need to apologize. I understand how busy you've been, especially with everything that's been happening."The mention of their shared responsibilities weighed heavily on Chidea's mind, reminding her of the countless negotiations and battles that lay ahead. Even if she herself were not part of Utopia and the war, she had to watch as her adoptive mother, and now her brother, had to fight this war, and there was nothing that she could do. But in that moment, she pushed aside her worries, focusing instead on the precious time she had with Rasa. "I've missed you too," Chidea admitted, her gaze softening as she met Rasa's eyes. "And I understand that there's much to attend to, but I cherish every moment we can spend together."At Rasa's suggestion of making plans for the future, Chidea's heart fluttered with anticipation. The thought of spending more time with her beloved mother filled her with joy, a welcome respite from the chaos of their reality. "I would love that," Chidea replied, her voice filled with genuine enthusiasm. "Perhaps we could plan a visit to Eden? I always liked it there. Whatever you decide, I'll be there with you every step of the way."With a soft nuzzle against Rasa's side, Chidea conveyed her gratitude and affection, a silent promise of unwavering support and love. In the midst of their turbulent world, the bond between mother and daughter remained unbreakable, a beacon of hope in the darkness. It made her remember however, that she had something to talk to her about, something she had forgotten since her brothers' coronation. "By the way mother... I forgot to talk to you about it, but I met Cadence at his coronation, and I'm not sure if you overheard anything since there was... drama, but... Apparently he's my brother. My real half brother. I'm still struggling to remember him, but it's coming in small flashes..."Tagged; fleabittengray Notes; After the meeting with Cadence and Xerxes

Stars had to align and come together All at once, I'd never be the same Who knew life could change like this forever If there was one thing that Rasa cared about most in the world, it would be her family. Her children, her grandchildren, her adoptive children, and Lateralus - they were all the most important beings in her life. It broke her heart every time she thought of Leviathan, stuck in the Underworld, and she blamed herself entirely. She never should have let him leave Utopia to go see Nessa. She should have said no, told him to wait, or should have gone herself. But she'd wanted to believe that he would be okay... wanted to believe that he wouldn't be ambushed. It was foolish of her and had cost her dearly. She doubted that the demons were treating him well. She could only hope that, he being a Daeva, he would not be weakened enough to be consumed by the Mists like Nehemiah had been. "Mother!" The greeting drew her from her thoughts, and her smile was steady and warm as she looked at the bone adorned mare. The bones had Rasa curious from the very beginning, but she'd accepted Chidea as she was. So what the girl had an interest in something others may find morbid? She was still a sweet girl! Her daughter leaned into her touch and the Lady of Utopia's smile grew, feeling a sense of ease and comfort at having a connection with her child. Despite not being Chidea's birth mother, Rasa still adored her just as she did any of her other children. She never treated Chidea any differently, and never would. "I'm well, mother," A gentle sigh escaped the bay warmblood. "That is good, I am glad to hear you're doing well," she stated, and it was true. She worried about Chidea often, as she worried about her other mortal kin. They could so very easily become targets. "And please, there's no need to apologize. I understand how busy you've been, especially with everything that's been happening." Rasa hummed, soft and kind, and leaned gently against the mortal girl. "I'll always be there if you need me, though, you know that." No matter what, she would do whatever she had to do to be there for her children and grandchildren. It was the least she could do. "I've missed you too," The words caused some guilt to well up inside Rasa but she grinned nonetheless. "And I understand that there's much to attend to, but I cherish every moment we can spend together." The guilt melted away, replaced by warmth and gratitude. "As do I, Chi." The nickname fell from her lips affectionately. Chidea was a wonderful daughter. She was everything Rasa would want her own blood born children to be. "I would love that, Perhaps we could plan a visit to Eden? I always liked it there. Whatever you decide, I'll be there with you every step of the way." Hearing the enthusiasm in her daughter's voice had Rasa chuckling and she nodded in agreement. "Eden sounds like the perfect place for a meeting!" she agreed warmly. Eden was probably Rasa's favorite place to be. She loved it, perhaps, even more than the realm of Utopia. It was true peace and serenity. Chidea nuzzled against her and Rasa lipped playfully at the longer strands of her red chestnut mane, listening as the child spoke. "By the way mother... I forgot to talk to you about it, but I met Cadence at his coronation, and I'm not sure if you overheard anything since there was... drama, but... Apparently he's my brother. My real half brother. I'm still struggling to remember him, but it's coming in small flashes..." Her eyes widened, curious and delighted, and a warm smile split her lips once more. "I couldn't think of a better man to be your brother, Chidea!" Her words were soft and warm, speaking highly of her Lord. "Have you met your nephew, Hymn, at all? Or heard about him? He's the son of Cadence and the former Versai High Priestess, Allocen. He lives in the Highlands, in Lyrarcor, if you're ever interested." She just wanted Chi to feel connections with all of her family, not just those related to Rasa. "Perhaps Cadence could even join us in Eden, the next time we meet, if you'd like?" Her eyes softened all the more, and she touched Chi's shoulder lightly. "Have you recovered any other memories, or is everything still a bit fuzzy?"Rasa | 735 | faeriiefox w/ Chidea notes | she's so happy for her <3 timeline | 20 years 3 months, autumn, evening, after her war thread with Nasuada "Speech"
