Vacant. It's what Sephora could have sworn the lands were with the lack of activity within. How many months had they been back now and Sephora was yet to meet the leader of the lands- or leaders in this case. Their names honestly escaped her as well. Had she ever actually been told them? It seemed odd that some had risen to take ownership of the lands yet there was no herd meeting, no introduction, no activity. While Sephora was a bit removed and remained often on the outskirts of the land, closer to Kraken, she would think she would notice some sort of activity. Were the leaders trying not to step on any toes with Kraken and the members that still traveled with him? Or were they trying to exclude the old members because their loyalty was not initially sworn to them. Sephora did not care who the leaders were, her loyalty would always be sworn to the whale-bellied beast that once ruled these lands. He had been the one to save her. He had been the only thing familiar now that her memories were washed away with the incident. Dark Queen leading a herd of wolves out and away from the royal herd had apparently gone wrong. The grim reaper had been waiting not-so patiently to take her with him when her dam, Akroma, had been standing over her with Kraken at her side. Whatever came next was blurry and came in snippets. Everything before... unknown. She knew only what she was told. That she was once Dark Queen. How she had lost her position and almost died. Few things spoon fed to her but what was she not told and was it all true?
Long gone was the skeletal creature when she first arrived here to start her recovery. Her sixteen point two hand frame has long filled out and her spanish curves taking hold of her feminine build. Red dun sabino blanketed pelt was sleek for it being the winter months, her body not able to grow a winter coat with the lack of nutrients she had when winter had struck. She had been in recovery- but not far enough along for the dame to prepare herself. Lucky for her the tendrils of harsh winters didn't seem to reach the shore of the isle too much. Far more forgiving than herds that resided within the mountains and at high elevation. Ice blue optics scanned the area before the manner. Dirtied windows remained empty, hiding any life within the walls of the place Kraken once used to reside. He seemed more pleased with the boat house these days; pleased a stretch of the word as he partially still seemed a shell of the beast he once was.
Curvaceous frame halted as the mists surrounded and hugged her curves. Sea breeze pulling at her chocolate-red locks, daring her to race it along the paths of the island, yet Sephora did not budge. She had a different mission today. While she often tried to avoid socializing with others that was something she was trying to change. Are these lands vacant now? Or are the leaders just uncaring to ever introduce themselves let alone show themselves to the inhabitants within their walls?A sassy and challenging set of words- nothing uncommon if one were to know Sephora, but would it rub the leaders the wrong way? Would they ask her to take her attitude elsewhere and away from the herd even though she was here before them?
ooc; Sephora here to meet the leaders and just kind of see what's going on within the isle! Some activity within if you will. Both or one can just reply <3 ➳ T e c h n o ➳ illɘgal Sorry it's not great. Just trying to get a starter. "Speech will look like this."

Galdr
Galdr had been away from the Isle as of late. He was out in search of others like him, but he had not found anyone yet. Kladdan had been the yes-man so to speak when it came to leading Grim Isle. He should have been doing more, but in a way he was. The large stag was out in search of more members. The scent of another drifted through his nares as he crossed the threshold into the little island attached to the shores of the Dark Kingdom. He heard a voice call out critically of the new leaders. A prickle of irritation crept up his nape, but it was because the owner of the voice had been at least semi-right. Galdr wasn't sure how things operated in this new world he'd found himself in. Was it customary to host a sort of gathering for the herd? It felt uneccesary because nothing would really change. They would continue to go about their lives and protected by new powers. Galdr found an appaloosa mare who stood incredulously along the stone-strewn beach. His facade remained expressionless as he approached her. Galdr only ceased his movements when he was within an appropriate distance to speak with the mare who sounded as though she lived here. Perhaps it was better if he got to know some of the equines who lived here. Galdr's lips remained pressed into a fine line for a few moments as he waited to see if she had any other insults to hurl towards the new leaders of the Isle. "If you're finished, I'm here and showing my face." He spoke in rich baritones that rumbled from the depths of his chest. "Is it not enough to know you are still protected, even if you do not know your leaders? Is this customary in Wild Equines?" Galdr questioned here, while his facade remained uncannily stoic. "My name is Galdr. I'm not sure where Kladdan is or what he's been up to, but I was out in search of new members." He answered the question that had yet to be asked. The stag could only assume that would be what came next. Zohyd// so sorry for the wait <3

A part of her half expected no one to show, almost certain that whatever leaders had claimed this as their own had abandoned the Isle without letting any know. An interesting predicament should that be the case as she was not sure if Kraken would care to step up and take leadership of his homeland once more. However, her ice vision landed upon an approaching figure. His markings oddly similar with both patches and spots to her own, only his coloring silvery grey over her red dun. His frame not much taller than her own but his build seemed heavier than her petite and curvaceous frame, an indication of his heavy breeds within his heritage. He had halted before her, a brightly gilded gaze cast her direction as he waited for her to finish the egging words. If you're finished, I'm here and showing my face. Deep tone reached pricked audit upon her feminine facade, At least it's not a disappointing one. There was no seductive purr or emphasis on flirting as her ice gaze took in the creature before him. She would not deny him his handsome looks- but they surely would not save him from the initial irritation of his lack of leadership. Is it not enough to know you are still protected, even if you do not know your leaders? Is this customary in Wild Equines? For a moment she merely blinked at the behemoth and his question; a bit taken back by what she thought to be a foolish ask. Do you've the slightest clue who I am? What if I was an intruder looking to take what members were here? Would you eve know who was missing and who to protect? Sephora questioned. Perhaps he had spoken with Kraken, but what of those that followed him here. What of those that had been held captive by The Hound during his stay? I'm no expert, but I'd think one might want to know those in their herds and that can generally be ticked off with a meeting of sorts. To Sephora it made sense. She wondered if she had done such a meeting when she was crowned Queen. It seemed all the royals had some sort of coronation- she doubted her crowning had been any different.
My name is Galdr. I'm not sure where Kladdan is or what he's been up to, but I was out in search of new members. Sephora made point to glance around the large beast, her vision scanning the empty beach that stretched beyond what she could make out. I take it you were unsuccessful, a bit of a playful comment as her gaze honed back in on the spotted and patched figure before her. Surely a face like that could get at least one or two bitches to fall weak at the knees. Another compliment without actually flirting. At this mark it would be part of her personality and clearly not some fascination with the beast. Her mind hadn't really crossed those bridges. They toyed with the idea of Kraken, the closest she had gotten but still found herself unsure while she tried to focus on finding herself and whatever history lay vacant in her mind. Sephora. She stated her name as an introduction to Galdr, a member of Grim Isle before the attack. Perhaps an obvious statement as I clearly was not one to fall weak at the knees and follow you home.
Sephora let silence fall between them before speaking once more. Have the leaders of Grim Isle been active in the War? Do we trust our invisible leaders are protecting those inside they do not know, or should those who could be valuable targets sleep with two eyes open? During war she had no doubt any and all needed to watch out for their enemies. If the leaders of Grim Isle were out and about stirring up drama then the target on all their backs would be a little bigger. But did Galdr realize some of the equines he had in his herd? Kraken and herself being half siblings to the Queen. Herself being a child of Akroma, her siblings the very ones in Utopia and what caused this war. Her history of Dark Queen, while apparently short- what enemies did she make it would it paint her a high-value target?
