if there was ever a time, let it be today, of all days.
sepris called his goodbye to sunset shores with one last glance back to it's leader, accompanied by a dip of his head - it was a gentle thanks. adora, from her perch, acknowledged him before returning her gaze back to the herd. the young stallion sucked in a breath and look unto the path ahead of him, trying to shake the anxiety that was pooling in his chest. he was giddy, almost, as his spindle legs pushed him onward through the light kingdom to the place he hoped he would soon be calling home. it was particularly good day. over the last year, the daydreamer made his rounds through lands and kept a careful eye on a few. omashu was beautiful, and thought he knew so little of it's leaders or herd he came in good spirits. the trek from the shores would take up a good part of the day, easily, and it gave him an opportunity to breathe. there weren't many places in WE he hadn't been, save for the dark lands, but few he had ever dared call home. meraki woods was a safe place, and the shores ... he felt it never fit him quite right. adora was welcoming and kind, and for the time being it had been more than enough. sepris found himself slipping along the stream that fed into omashu. lupine eyes scanned the area and a smile had found it's way across his face. the sun had not yet started to set, leaving light to make his entrance noticeable. with a short, guttural call to the skies did sepris cross into the land, finding his way part up a hill before slowing himself to a stop. sepris decided to go no further, letting his gaze wander to the trees, still barren from winter. someone would come the stallion knew, so he dipped his head to the short grasses and nibbled as he wait. "talking."

Gidge
Gidge had been discussing how to get Casi back safe and sound within Omashu when a call rang out somewhere near their borders. Usually, visitors would not cause such anxiety, but with the war raging on, visitors caused a decent amount of anxiety. The obsidian stag felt his face grow somber as he peered at his Elephant companion who he no longer traveled without. Xerxes was his best friend, but even that did not sway his nerves. The dreadlord would have to do what was best for the Underworld and its allies. Personal relationships couldn't take precedence in such dire straits. Gidge had made his life exceedingly complicated, and he wasn't sure how he ended up here. Well, not entirely. His love for Casi was greater than anything else in his life. He would do literally anything for him, and their son Kanoni and his mother Danika. Gidge drew in a sharp breath and exhaled swiftly as he looked at Elianna. "We'll continue this later." He murmured and she gave a nod and flap of her large ears. He swiveled his hindquarters and started at a swift trot toward the origin of the call. Eli was not far behind him. The familiar rumble of the ground beneath his feet was almost comforting. It made it feel a little less like he was heading toward some sort of conflict. It didn't take long for the duo to arrive where the visitor stood. There were no words to catch, just someone who waited patiently. He doubted that anyone from the Underworld would be coming and knocking on his door for malicilous reasons. They didn't look like an enemy, but he still remained a little on edge as the duo came to a halt before the stranger. They were grazing peacefully on the grasses of Omashu. That at least gave Gidge a reason to believe that the purpose for their visit was not going to be dramatic. "Hello, are you the one who summoned me?" Gidge asked with cautious tones. Eli remained quietly at his side, looming in a protective fashion. JUNI! sorry for the wait!

if there was ever a time, let it be today, of all days.
There was a deep thrum that started beneath his feet as the pair drew in closer, and Sepris knew that his approach could mean many things in the eyes of a herd leader. There was a war going on, after all. The grasses of Omashu helped to settle his stomach, and he did not make a sudden move as they finally reached him, though he wasn't going to hide the surprise on his face as he was met with the lumbering elephant's gaze. Sepris had raised his skull marked face and offered a dip of his head as a polite hello. "Hello, are you the one who summoned me?" His stature remained neutral, not wanting to alarm either of them. He could feel the caution that loomed in the undertone of his words, and the black stallion nodded. "Are you the one they call Gidge?" Sepris asked. He knew nothing of the other except his name; barely familiar with Casimiro, either, suddenly feeling aware of the fact that he might not have been prepared enough to call this meeting. Though his body was still, Sepris could feel the way his insides shook. There was a slight tilt of his head, looking to the elephant with a gentle curiosity. "I am Sepristine; I come from Sunset Shores and seek a spot within Omashu ... if you'd have me," he said. Sepris felt there was no point in beating around the bush. With all that was happening around them, he figured honesty would do him better. "I was raised in Meraki Woods. My mum, Nelly, is their advisor." He felt it important to note that there was someone guiding him, someone respected. He almost never spoke of his lack of blood relation to the mare - it made no difference to him, and she never separated the two. Giving another dip of his head, Sepris found himself smiling, hoping to break the tension that was bubbling in his chest. "I will answer any questions you have of me for hope that you will consider allowing me to stay." "talking."
