As the sun's warm rays kissed the frost-kissed meadow, Cinnira stepped delicately into the softening snow, her hooves leaving behind gentle imprints in the thawing ground. The air was crisp with the promise of spring, carrying the scent of melting snow and budding flowers. Yet amidst this picturesque scene, a subtle tension lingered in the air. Unbeknownst to most, trailing behind Cinnira with hesitant steps was a grizzly bear cub, its fur fluffy and golden in the sunlight. The cub's wide eyes darted nervously, torn between the instinct to stay close to its equine captor and the longing for the security of its mother's embrace. Cinnira had stolen the cub away from its mother as it had crawled out of it's winter cave before the mother had, intending to trade it for a smaller equine to serve as her spy in the neighboring lands. She had met the smaller male just a few weeks earlier, and while many would make fun of his smaller stature, she had seen the opportunity to get someone who could be of use to her. His small size could make for the perfect spy, no one would think that he could do any harm, perfect for what she needed. Despite the cub's reluctance, Cinnira showed no signs of concern as she strolled through the meadow, her demeanor radiating confidence and determination. She glanced back at the cub, a mischievous glint in her eyes as she murmured soothing words to calm its nerves. With each step, Cinnira's mind buzzed with anticipation, her thoughts divided between the beauty of the awakening landscape and the clandestine mission ahead. She knew the risks of her plan, but the allure of obtaining a valuable asset for her schemes outweighed any doubts that lingered in her mind. As they reached the edge of the stream, Cinnira looked at it's bubbling surface between the ice that had started to crack at the sides. The cub curled down to the edge and drank a few laps of water, the mare standing close enough to lash out in case it tried to escape, but it had started to show less and less will to do so, clinging more and more to her side. With practiced ease, Cinnira reached out to stroke the cub's fur with her muzzle, a gesture meant to reassure the animal and make it know to stay close, to her and also to Cecil once they met up. Taking a deep breah, Cinnira glanced at the cub with a determined expression. "Come, little one," she whispered softly, her voice barely audible above the rustling of the wind. "We have much to do, and little time to waste."Turning away from the waters' edge, she started to walk through the meadow once more to reach the other side, in search of this equine that she was looking for. tag; Doomed with Cecil notes; I hope he's ready for this xD

Even if anger was my middle name; it would never be enough
The winters claim on the lands was slowly melting away. The snow on the ground becoming a slush in most spots. Cecil was lingering around the edge of Unclaimed Hearts. That what the plan had been for him last few days. He was waiting on the mare that he had happened upon a few weeks ago now. It had been an interesting meeting to say the least. Not how most of his interactions with other equine had went since being here. She seemed interested in him while other had decided he wasn't much use with his size. In their conversion they had struck up a deal. He would become her spy for information in trade she'd find him a toothy friend for this job. Had decided to meet up again here. He was really interested to see if she would actually find this said toothy friend and what kinda animal it would be. The sun was out over the meadow enough that it's warm rays could be felt. This is what pushed the little horse out from his hiding spot among the treeline. Blue eyes darting over the landscape in search of Cinnira. There was few equine out and about already, but so far none he sought for. He continued onward determined that today would be the day she would show up. He finally found himself almost in the middle of the meadow when he spotted her. Neck arched proudly as he turned his direction toward her. Nickering to her as he grow closer. Excitement for once actually danced in his veins or could it just be the anticipation of what she would bring him. His face did little to show it as he stopped before her. His eyes darting around her. A loud hump of disappoint sounded from his throat when nothing around her grabbed his attention to be a toothy friend. His eyes totally missing the ball of brown fuzzy that was close to her. "No luck in at a toothy friend I see." Eyes narrowed as he looked up at her. The pale mare stopped once she heard the sounds of steps behind her, way back where she had been walking a little while ago, the opposite direction in which she was moving from. At first she didn't know who was approaching them, but as the familiar presence drew nearer, Cinnira couldn't help but sense some anticipation in the air, yet she couldn't decide if it was hers, or his. Though she didn't turn to face him immediately, she caught sight of him through the corner of her eye, his figure weaving through the awakening meadow. His small stature would indeed become handy, she had a feeling. His neck was arched with a proud air, his determination evident even from a distance. A small smirk tugged at the corners of her lips as he drew closer, his blue eyes scanning the surroundings in search of her. With each step, his excitement seemed to dance in the air around him, and Cinnira relished in the anticipation in his demeanor. Yet, she remained composed, allowing him to come to her. What was she excited about? Mostly the fact that she would now get her first informant, and information would always be key. It would be power wherever she went. Finally, as he halted before her, his disappointment palpable, she fought the urge to turn and face him immediately. Instead, she let a moment linger, savoring the tension that crackled between them. When he spoke, his voice laced with disappointment, Cinnira turned to face him, a playful smirk playing on her lips. "Oh, Cecil, you never fail to entertain," she replied, her tone teasing. "You might want to take another look around. I believe you'll find your toothy friend right here beside me."Cinnira watched his reaction with amusement, enjoying the moment of surprise she had orchestrated. How he had missed the cub at her side, she could not understand however, but maybe the cub had simply hidden behind grass and legs, just enough that he wouldn't see it's fluffy appearance. "I told you I'd find you a toothy friend," she remarked, her tone smug. "It might have some growing up to do, but I am sure it will serve you well once it sees you as it's master and friend."tag; Doomed with Cecil notes; Hehehehe
