It all had to be coming to an end sooner or later, right? She was free. Her children were free. Yet the war fueled on. Tensions seemed higher than ever and both sides were at each other's throat. Hell, she herself was ready for the bloodshed to just begin and end. Let there be a winner and a loser and allow Wild Equines to move on. Of course, the semi-leopard, overo demon did not wish for there to be bloodshed. She wished both sides would let things dissolve and return to a neutral state. But they were too far past that. While one side may win and the other lose- both sides would gain wins and losses. Lives lost. Battles won. Battle lost. She feared the bloodshed was just beginning. So far she had been able to escape the unnecessary need to fight. Not something uncommon from the fallen leader who did not go seeking fights in her past. Granted she had fought in her mortal days; and she had won. More often than not she relied on her silver tongue. Part of her had been ashamed that she could not prevent this war from going further. Xerxes had warned her though when he sought her in Asphodel, that her pretty words could not get them out of this mess.
Her time in Utopia certainly could have been better. It would have been better had Xerxes not chosen to steal the Utopian Lord that had taken her. Steal Rasa for once. The bitch was used to ruling without a Lord- let her be in the hot seat with her ass locked in the fiery pits. Cadence would have made her time in the Heavens much more comfortable and the conversational topics certainly would have been appealing. Akroma sometimes still thought of how quickly the two had gotten along. He had ruled Heaven the same time she had rule Hell and their paths never crossed. His disappearance into the mists and her to save Sephora had caused them both to fall and never, formally, meet. She had decided to change that at Hunroor's coronation. Approaching and introducing herself to the Light King had been easy for her- granted, his handsome features might have made her decision final in approaching. Fairly enough he seemed on guard and uninterested in what she had to say. He assumed she only wanted something- a painful memory she too could recall upon when she lead. His demeanor had seemed to shift when he learned she was simply there to introduce herself and when he learned she was not like many demons he had dealt with in the past. The simple encounter had been that start of some sort of twisted... friendship? She wasn't entirely sure what to call it and knew Xerxes would roll his eyes and disapprove should she express she liked him just as he had done with Avinash.
The fallen monarch had chosen her mortal form while she walked amongst their plane. Feathered wings that often accompanied her soft curves left in the pits of Hell while she traversed over the soft, grainy terrain. Salt hung thick in the sea breeze and the sound of crashing waves could lull the most difficult of sleepers to rest. It was a place where the Lights considered to roam. The lands were peaceful and matched with a welcoming temperature. She knew there were souls in the area but none within her vision. Did they know who she was? Were they keeping their distance? Or were they in their own encounters? Any Light who truly knew Akroma knew she was not a danger at first. The sixteen point three hand demon was civil and fair- her hobbies did not consist of wandering lands looking for the next soul to torture.
Harks pricked forward as a painted creature appeared on the soft sands before her. Appendages slowed to a walk and then a halt as she could only assume she was the target for the approaching creature. Mismatched gaze honed in on the target that seemed familiar but was not one she could put a name to. Her mind had raced to find where she could place the face of the target. The sea breeze carried the aroma confirming the gender. A beautiful mare that certainly was a sight to behold; her beauty something Akroma envied. Bits of gilded metal pierced her feminine facade. The coronation! A sudden remembrance of seeing the creature at Hunroor's coronation- but had not caught the name of the unknown beaut. Something told Akroma that she might find out very shortly.
ooc- ☽ caely ☾ - wanted to get something started! If you want me to change anything about Boudicca's approach or where she is coming from just let me know!!! "Speech will look like this."
