The white and black mare felt like she was a fish out of water since she had left the only place she had known to be her home. Home was once a place of peace, a place that she thought she would spend the rest of her days. But fate always had a funny way of messing with people but she never thought it would mess with her. But fate had thrown its self head first into her life and now she was all alone. Her father was gone and the only home she had ever known was some where behind her. As strong as she felt, she had never been more afraid of what fate had planned for her now. But she was walking with her head high and wasn't about to give up now, she still had a long way to go.
A sigh escaped her before she knew it and she stopped walking, closing her dark green eyes and tried to rally herself on the inside. Her mind drifted to the days when life seemed to much easier, but a strange sound caused her head to jerk. Eyes found themselves open and looking at a buck who was watching her since she had moved so suddenly before he fled. "Sorry!" she muttered before lightly tossing her head. Something caught the mare's eye and she looked upward, noticing that snow was starting to fall. There was already a decent amount of snow on the ground and more was coming it seemed, the sky was almost as dark and heavy as her heart. As much as she loved the snow, it just wasn't the same right now.
Shaking her head, the mare stretched before she started to move onward. Dark green eyes noticed what seemed to be like other tracks of equines, some of them where fresh and some where covered with previous snow. Had she finally come close enough to be in another herds home? The thought of running into a stallion sent chills down the mare's spine, she knew that nobody would rescue her this time if things went south. She started to ponder if she could get over this anxiety of dealing with this every day. But she tried to hold onto the though that her father didn't raise no weakling. She continued to move, following the fresh tracks carefully as she tried to find out just who they belonged too.
