Exchanging one last look with Melyra, answering her hopeful, reassuring smile with a smile of his own, they forged past the border and into the land known as Mount Vigilum. Warrior's Cry of Regret was expected, though mayhap a little bit earlier than had been arranged with the Vigilum stallion Melyra had spoken with. Whether that meant he would end up waiting around a bit or not, Warrior did not know. He tried not to think of that possibility overmuch. Contemplating any of this too much was admittedly a bit... uncomfortable.

When Melyra had approached him about all this, admitting that she had come to Mount Vigilum and spoken with Casimiro, hoping to find help for his nightmares, Warrior had been uncertain what to think. Melyra herself had been a bit apprehensive, he knew, worried that she had overstepped boundaries, yet at the same time having wanted to help. In truth, as uncomfortable as he was with the current situation, Warrior was not angry with Melyra. He knew that she meant well. And he knew that it was her feelings of guilt in particular that drove her. Despite the multitude of occasions he had tried to reassure her that he did not blame her for what had happened to their mother, he knew she still carried a burden of guilt. The fact that the nightmares he had always struggled with had gotten worse after losing their mother seemed to have only added to her guilt, in spite of Warrior's efforts to -- again -- reassure her that it was not her fault, that he never laid blame for any of it on her.

Giving himself a shake, ignoring for the moment the inquiring glance of his half-sister, the grey stallion focused his attention on their surroundings. At least it was a lovely day, only a few soft clouds keeping the mid-morning sun company high above. A light breeze kept things comfortable. And no sign yet of the cooler temperatures that would herald the change of the season.

No immediate sign of any of the Vigilum either. Scanning the area, Warrior wondered if he ought to call. Would they already be aware of his presence in Mount Vigilum or should he be announcing his arrival? After a moment's contemplation, Warrior decided it would not hurt to give some signal of the siblings' arrival, whinnying to let them know they had come.
