The first time she was taken from her home, the golden mare had been confused and defeated. She knew of the Helkaer, of course, and had seen the remnants of their destruction across Eacarrah's landscape. It had broken her heart to see that beautiful land bruised and scarred. Her time in the cells had left her withdrawn, depressed, and unsure of what the future would hold. Coming home had been a sharp relief. While she had been apprehensive about the couples' retreat event with Gavin, it had allowed the fem to center herself and grow comfortable in her skin again. Not to mention the emotional healing. Then, as she settled back into her role as beta and rediscovered her relationship with the spirited stallion, she was taken. Again. When she was wrangled from her morning walk along the lake by quiet strangers, Aelin couldn't even try to be afraid this time. No, she was angry. Angry that Selven would resort to this foolishness. It didn't surprise her in the least; that ink and ivory beast was unhinged at best. They hadn't seen each other in months, so what gave him the right to do this? Was he incapable of simply being polite and stopping in for a visit? Aelin seethed as the small group brought her into the Dark lands and to the Keep. She hadn't been to the kingdom before and a small part of her was surprised to see how beautiful it was. Now that winter was properly over, spring had slowly started to bring life back to the lands. A small part of her imagined that the Dark kingdom would be full of swamps, vile creatures scuttling in the undergrowth, and emaciated equines fighting for any morsel they could get their jaws around. Instead, the amount of green before her eyes was startling. Despite the beauty around her, the mare's anger still roiled under her skin. She was pulled into the strange, overgrown castle into a large room of sorts. Would she be brought to the dungeons later? She doubted they could be any worse than the one in Sinheim. The guards left her in the middle of the smoothed floor, though they didn't go far. Aelin's eyes narrowed in fury and a snarl curled at her lips. Where are you, Selven? Why am I here?SpeechTAG Fallen and Selven! WORDS 389 TIMELINE Spring, after Couples event, stolen from Eacarrah again Lil' angry Aelin for you!

"Speech."
The Dark King was feeling a little... frisky... today. A pep that had not touched his step danced over his skin today, that wonderfully mischievous glint that sparkled in his icy eyes glittered like it first had when he was a wee babe, and his dance, his wonderful bold dance! It returned! His limbs carried him swiftly about the keep, an air of excitement buzzing about his slick and muscular frame. He had successfully stolen Aelin, his thorny little witch, and along with her he had acquired a much more savory prize. Valfrid. A prize that belonged to none other than the Versai. Selven's mouth nearly watered at the thought of the poor little druid. Selven's motives were simple for the beast though. Thomasin had informed the king of this beasts slight against her, against the kingdom. Interfering when he would of done best to stand idle. Now here they were. The ink and ivory hound with porcelain in his hair dancing with a target in his eyes. Shenzie cackled at the kings heels, the large hyena always an unsettling addition to the dazzling ink and bone stained monarch.
Today though his excitement was even more, his guards had wrangled his lovely rose and as far as he knew they were on the way home with her. His assumption was proven correct by the different cacophony of hooves and the delicate yet angry sound of his guest. Where are you, Selven? Why am I here? Selven could not stop the maniacal grin that twisted his handsome features nor could he stop the viciously excited whinny that rumbled rom parted lips. Shenzie cackled in turn once more, her large paws running along the large exaggerated trot of the king. "Oh, my sweet barer of thorns" His voice echoed about the stone walls as he turned the corner swiftly, "You ask such simple questions! You know very well why you are here." Another cackle from his beast, and a vicious nicker of his own as he came boldly through the door to the room where she stood. Large icy voids were briming with excitement s he finally set his eyes upon his golden thing. "You are here simply because i wish you to be." He smiled warmly, though the sight could be deemed disturbing despite his handsome face. Selven licked his two toned lips, his heavy tail flicking hastily at his flanks as he stepped round Aelin. His beast followed suit, circling the golden mare like ravenous scavengers.. both the king and his beast's eyes tearing apart the beautiful mare piece, by fucking piece.

It was only moments before a chill shot down the mare's back as she heard a sharp call echo around her. She couldn't see the ebony and ivory beast, but she could hear him and some other creature make their way towards her. It had been months since they had spoken last, yet Aelin dreaded whatever was coming next, despite her former bravado. In their limited interactions, it had been clear to her that the now-king was unhinged at best. She couldn't even try and figure out what was going on in his demented mind and now she was in his territory and at his mercy. The fem had no idea what to expect. Oh, my sweet barer of thorns. That rumbling voice made her want to want to run - run far away. You ask such simple questions! You know very well why you are here. Deep down, Aelin did. She assumed she was here simply because the king wanted to flex his power and flaunt his apparent obsession. She had no idea what she did that day by the beach to draw his attention in such a way and she wished she could undo that entire first meeting. The mare eyed the giant stallion as he entered the room. He didn't come alone though. The canine at his hooves was unlike she had ever seen and she desperately wished that her loyal wolf was with her. Fleetfoot wasn't much of a fighter, but she did provide a layer of security that Aelin could have used in this moment. The bronze mare watched the king and beast approach with growing apprehension, nerves fighting against her anger at Selven's expression. You are here simply because i wish you to be. Despite the uncomfortable circumstances, the vixen's eyes rolled toward the heavens as the pair began to circle her. She resisted following either of them as they did so, choosing to stand her ground and face the entrance as she had been. As selfish as ever, I see. It's always about you, but I'm sure it didn't occur to you to consider how I would feel about the situation. Even though she was unnerved at the core, her tone was full of growing malice. You are a king now, no? Shouldn't you be acting like one? Why do you need me if you have a queen? Turquoise and gold eyes looked towards icy ones with anger and curiosity. Thomasin, right? Does she know I'm here? Would she care? Would she? Aelin had met one of the Dark Queen's lackeys before, and she seemed to have kept a tight leash. Perhaps that wasn't the case for Selven. If you wanted to see me, you could have simply stopped by for a visit instead of resorting to this bullshit. You're better than that.SpeechTAG Fallen and Selven!
