The drizzle has turned into a light rain and the ice is melting but it is still slippery. It is too warm for the rain to freeze and there is a steady wind. There is the low rumble of thunder and a few distant flashes of lightening but the storm is still a few miles away. It is much darker than before. Please include past injuries and somewhere in the notes section please say if you have lost before. Failure to do either of these things will result in loss of points. Remember that you must not go over 1000 words. Two posts each with three days to reply.
@birna will go first with Disneyland Acid Trip followed by @cats with Serena.

Disneyland Acid Trip trotted into the battle field. His head was hold high as he watched the darkness creep in. In the last round it had not been this dark, but the setting was becoming more and more like him and he enjoyed it. The storm hadn’t hit yet but it was not too far off. Lightings lid up the sky in the distance and thunders came crashing into his towers shortly after. It was getting closer and most likely at one point it would hit the ring. But for this round they were most likely save. He came to a halt into the ring and looked around. The ice had not melted completely but with the light rain and the warmer temperature it might be gone soon. After all this was round four, that meant tons of horses should have scrambled this ice up quite well in the last rounds. Since the ice was still on the ground it was still slippery. Figure of another equine caught his attention since after all this was his opponent. A cute looking mare was standing on the other side of the ring. She looked fresh, a bit too fresh for the tournament. If it hadn’t been for this light rain he would have looked like a butcher, all covered in blood. In his last round he had been lucky, if you would call it luck. His opponent had only attacked the first few attacks and then left the battle. So it hadn’t finished. Even though Trip would have loved to fight it to the end but in life you don’t’ get everything. After all this was what he lived for, the old warrior horse he was. He had managed to catch his breath though, longer than many others. Cleaning off a little bit so he wouldn’t look completely like someone cut out of a horror show. His orbs scanned the mare, she was much more petite than he was. Him all tall and muscle looking, but that didn’t mean that mare didn’t know how to fight. She was here and had gotten this far so she clearly was good. That’s why Trip was not going to underestimate her.
The golden bastard was ready to strike out. He got to be the first one to strike out and he liked that. He moved on the ice to test it, carefully now but after all this time on the ice he had gotten a bit cockier. He wanted to say he had gotten used to it though that was just bullshit, his over racing ego wanted to say that. No one got too used to run on ice. It was always dangerous no matter what. He took a deep breath and filled his lungs with oxygen. His body frame was pumped with adrenaline ones again. It didn’t care how many battles he would be involved with, this was always exciting. His movements towards the mare weren’t flashy. Trip was careful when he balanced his body frame on the ice. He was tall, standing seventeen point three hands up in the air. His legs were longs and his head was set high in the air. He was going to protect his face as much as he could. When Trip had almost reached the mare, he was that close that if the mare stretched out her neck she might be able to bite him. Slowly he turned around on the icy ground. Balancing himself on his front legs he kicked out with his hind legs. Not the same height though like he would have if the ground had been not covered in ice. His aim was to hit her in her neck or chest area. When he turned around he wasn’t sure if his attack had been successful or not. He wasn’t going to give the mare much chance to recover if it had been. With his long neck and the fact that he was towering over her he swung his head close to hers. With his mouth open he lashed out and aimed to bit her in the face. His aim was towards the area just above her eye. It was a shame though that such a stunning looking body frame would carry scars if his attack would have been successful. Now Trip waited for her attacks back at him.

Front hoof hit his nose, did not fracture it but left a deep cut that will lead to an infection later. 2. Got hit few times in his neck by Raidon front hooves. 3. Raidon's hind legs hit Trip in his rib cage and bruised it badly. 4. Kick in the chest, did not do much damage and Trip just felt it a bit. Might leave bruising but doubtful that it will cause trouble in next round. 5. Trip slid a bit backwards but managed to keep his contact. When Raidon reared up he managed to get a cut on Trip's face, above the eye. Which is now bleeding from. The cut was not as deep as the the one on his nose but possible infection in the future would not be a surprise. 6. Ripped skin on neck, ripped skin on elbows. The ripped skin on the neck was deeper since it is harder to bite skin at the elbows. Round 3: 7. With his height difference he moved his face away from the hooves but the hooves landed on his neck instead. Leaving a good amount of bruising. 8.Bite in the wither. No bleeding but a bite mark bruising on his wither. -opponent didn't post int time so this round didn't finish- Round 4: 9.

Once again Serena was placed inside the violent arena of the Gladiators. She was still –mostly- in one piece and luckily had not broken anything yet. She had placed herself in the south end of the arena while watching her new opponent slowly getting closer to her. She immediately could tell this equine was a lot bigger than any of her other challengers. While Serena was 16 hands high it was clear that Arabian blood was flowing through her blood, amongst others. The light colored stallion in contrast had a more heavy build suggestion there were some drafts breeds in his bloodline or maybe a larger warmblood breed. He was at least one hand higher than Serena, if not more. This was not what impressed her most though. It were the many, many scars the stallion possessed. Even from across the arena she could tell this horse had a lot of scars and he was still closing in on her, fighting to win the Gladiator title. She could not tell his age by sight but it must take years of experience and wisdom to get this far. Serena tried to not let this intimidate her, because she too had come very far already in these fights. Comparing her injuries to the horse in front of her –who was halfway through the arena, carefully placing his hooves on the slippery ground- she had less open wounds than he did but her two badly bruised shoulders made her quiver on her front legs. Her neck wound did not bleed anymore nor did the wound on her right back leg, though when walking the open skin on her leg created friction, which made it sorer. She had no idea how many horse were still fighting to win and how many battles she still had to fight but she knew for sure that if she would be hit again on her shoulders in the fight with the scarred stallion she would have difficulty with just standing up. A faint trembling was to be heard in the distance and large drops of rain were starting to fall down. It wasn’t freezing at the moment but when the wind hit the water drops they felt colder to her skin than they actually were. It would not matter because in a few second the fighting would erupt and her body would be warmed. Adrenaline would flow through her veins so that her pain threshold would be higher. The stallion was now only a few feet away from her and she could she he had readied himself for battle.
When a flash was sent through the sky the equine turned around and bucked, aiming his large forceful hooves towards her neck. In an attempt to dodge, Serena tried to avert her head and neck from the steed. She wasn’t fast enough however and just as the steeds’ hooves hit her in the throat a bang followed the flash from only a few seconds before. The storm was getting closer. As her opponent landed, Serena tried to take advantage of his now vulnerable rear and got up on her back legs, aiming to crash her front hooves onto his back. Shortly after the stallion turned around, towering high above Serena –a bit too high for her comfort- and with his teeth struck out biting her hard just above her right eye. Blood spilled from the wound gushing alongside her head. Blood dripped into her eye and Serena blinked ferociously trying to get the blood out and improve her sight. Trying to mainly rely on looking with her left eye, Serena found the stallion scarier as he was elevated high above her after the bloody attack. In her position she could not reach a lot of his body except for his neck area. As a hard wind gust hit them both the stallions’ hair got swooshed around. As a first reaction Serena tried to get a hold on some wisps of hair with her teeth with the intention to pull as hard as she could, hoping to tear out some hairs and give him an itching pain in his neck. Another flash was struck through the sky spreading an eerie lightning over the big horse, giving him a gruesome and magnificent appearance. What would his next move be?

Impressive was the word that the golden stallion would use to describe the mare he was fighting for this round in the tournament. She was most likely younger than him, not that he had any idea but he had found out in the last year that the equines in this world were very few around his age. The only ones he had really met that were ten years old or higher where his mate and Romeo. Not that it mattered in this fight. The mare seemed quite skilled and she must be since she had gotten this far into the tournament. Her movements were flawless and she was clearly smart. When Trip had kicked out and managed to get a kick in her neck she had been quick and attacked him with her own movement. Disneyland Acid Trip felt her hooves crash on his back. It had been a long time since someone had used that attack on him. No one in this tournament he was quite sure. At least none had been successful except that one. With his different toned orbs he looked at the mare and bared his teeth. Her landing on his back had hurt like hell. If she had been build like him she could easily have crashed his back. Left him there to die. He was still alive after her attacks. Her next move had been daring as well. Lashing forward and grapping his mane and tried to pull him down. He had to use all his power to refuse to have her drag him down, she was quite strong for a mare her size. A dark smirk entered his face and he had to say when he was catching his breath after her attacks that she was a sneaky little thing. He could use a mare like that in his land bout the golden stallion doubted that this girl would want to live in a dark land. She was so petite and good looking for a fighter. He found it very slim chance that this mare would be dark. She had been so far an outstanding opponent and Trip liked that. He enjoyed when his fights were interesting and this one sure was.
Injuries from former rounds were slowing him down, he could just feel it. His chest felt extremely sore and now his back was hurting like hell. This mare sure had gotten him in a good place. Good for her but not for him. He would have to find a good attack to match her up on injuries from her last strike. Slowly he started moving towards the mare again. The light rain was making him feel more cold then he used to and he still had to be careful on the ice. So far in the gladiator tournament he had managed to not slip badly on the ice and fall down. That would have been an instant loss if someone had attacked him on the ground. Luckily it had not come to that and the seventeen point three hand beast had been standing the entire time. His orbs were carefully fixed on the mare this time and ignored the sound of the thunders in the world around him. Now all that mattered was this mare and his next few attacks. His movements were steady when he moved towards the mare. It was not fast at all otherwise he might lose his grip on the ice. He was going to use his body build and strength in this attack. When he had almost reached the mare he aimed at her side and with his entire body frame he aimed to push her off. Shake up her balance quite a bit. If his attack were to be successful then he must hurt her something. Looking at him he looked a bit like a slender looking bull. Muscular and strongly build from the nature. He wasn’t sure if the mare had lost her balance at all or not but he was ready for his next strike. He lifted up one of his front legs and without hesitation he kicked into the direction of the mare. His aim was to hit her front leg cannon bone. He could feel the power in his front leg when he aimed and tried to make his attack successful but when he backed away to catch his breath he was not sure if he had managed to do the damage he had hoped to do. Now it was her turn ones again and then this round for the two of them would be over.

The tournaments revealed a part of Serena she wasn’t used to. She had always believed that if an event would occur that could harm her that she would fight back with as much as she could. Today proved different. She had just finished her attacks and was scared of the giant in front of her. Serena’s hooves crushing into his back had been less effective than she had hoped for. She would have thought that the big stallion would have trouble standing now, but because it was a split second decision she had not hold account for how their different body types would affect the blow that should have been crumpling. As she had come down using her hooves as two hammers, the stallion had simply caught the attack with his strong trained back muscles. She figured he would at most feel a sore pain for the next few days and maybe some bruising, but nothing crippling. It was stunning truly that one could receive so much force on such a vital part of the body –as Serena was aiming for the back of the spinal cord- and still stand strong. The attack that had followed her first strike had been more close to its goal. Serena had tried to drag the giant down by gripping its hair and pull as hard as she could, getting help from one of nature’s strongest forces, gravity. She had not managed to actually pull him to the ground but a chunk of hair had been ripped from the base where it grew and that should at least cause an annoying pain.
But this day Serena found out that when being scared from attacks she did not always fight, she froze. After her last attack, the stallion had paced toward her and with –it seemed- all the force he could gather slammed into her left side, not leaving a single spot of her skin untouched. On a normal day this attack would have been strong, but with the slippery ground beneath her feet it was even more powerful. Losing her balance, Serena slipped with her front hooves through the slush, desperately trying to not fall down. Although she managed to stay on her feet, the time she had needed to achieve this was used into her opponents advantage. Because she was focused on staying upright she did not see how he executed his attack but the consequences were excruciating. She had been hit on her left front knee, causing a weakness in her balance and an intense pain rushing through her entire leg. A loud sound that could only be described as a scream of complete pain escaped her lungs. At this point she did not know if her bone was broken but for the moment she could not put any weight on her leg.
It was stupid she did not pay enough attention to her opponent and when she did get attacked she did not have enough time to comprehend what was about to happen and froze. An act like this could have killed her if she would have been outside the coliseum as there the other beings would not be so ‘kind’ as this unknown stallion. She knew she only had one chance left to attack him and cause some damage, as the fight would be over after that. She only hoped she would have some time after this to recover before fighting her next battle. Standing in the half molten ice, Serena was powerless to do any attacks that would require footwork. The only option she had left was biting and she aimed toward a wound that was not cause by her, placed in his neck. It wasn't her strongest attack but she could at least try to let the already existing wound bleed again.
