Wild Equines Store Welcome to the Wild Equines points store! This is where you can spend your points to buy various items pertaining to your character, profile, and other things. For each post that you make, you earn 500 points. You can view your points on your profile page or in your mini-profile. In addition to earning points through posting, you can also earn points through a variety of contests hosted by staff, such as monthly lotteries, contests such as advertising contests, store sales, and other various games for points. There are also monthly Of The Month (OTM) awards which are won through nominations and activity. General Rules- If you would like to purchase an item, please post using the form below and fill out all of the necessary criteria. If you are purchasing more than one item, please use one form per item (though you can have multiple forms per thread)! It keeps things simpler and easier to follow for staff.
- If more than one member is paying for an item, all members involved need to post to the thread and confirm the amount that they are paying.
- You can make purchases in one of two ways - with WE Points or with gifted items:
- If you are purchasing an item with points, you have the option of either choosing a specific character or putting "not sure" if you aren't sure. If you do this, your store thread will be moved to "Purchased Products." When you wish to use the item on a specific character, please post a request in the Staff Requests thread. A staff member will post to it saying who you used it on and move it to "Used Products."
- If you are using one of the items that has been gifted to you i.e. in a contest, a store sale, OTMs, lotteries etc. and it's listed in the Holiday Tracker or the OTM Prizes thread then you must have a specific character in mind before posting your thread, as claiming them without specifying a character is unnecessary. Please be specific when listing these items as a payment method. Do not just say "Holiday Tracker" or "OTM prize."
- If you are buying an item with a specific character and another item with an unspecified character, you are required to post these items in different threads so staff can move them to the correct boards after they have been processed.
- The "description" part of the form is used to describe things like odd markings, natural jewelry, hair additions, and other items that will need to be described so staff can approve it. This part of the form can be skipped if no description is needed for the item.
- Physical items may be passed onto kin with the "Next of Kin" item. In addition, mental illnesses like vampires and carnivores may be passed down onto their children only if another vampire/carnivore item is bought.
- Exchanges are allowed for prizes and gifts listed in the Holiday Tracker. You may exchange your item for a prize of equal or lesser value. Items cannot be combined in exchanges, it is a 1:1 ratio. If you would like to exchange it for points, you will receive 50% of the prize's original price. In addition, you cannot exchange a Tier 1 item for a Tier 2 item.
- Transfers are allowed in two particular events. If you have an unfinished character application or foal that was never made (no foal stats), you may transfer the unused items to a new character. They may not be transferred again.
- Birthday Discount. The week of your birthday you are eligible for 50% off store items. This week begins the Sunday of the week that your birthday is in, and ends the following Sunday. (For example, your birthday is on Saturday the 8th. Your week would begin on Sunday the 2nd, and would end Sunday the 9th).
- Tier 2 and GP/Tier 3 items can not be gifted to other members. The exception for Tier 2 items is when store sale events are held, and you can purchase items for other members in the sale thread.
OTM Rules
- Each OTM prize is worth one tier 1 item. If you win two OTMs in one month you may combine the two prizes to obtain one tier 2 item. You are allowed to use only two prizes in one month. Meaning if you win three OTMs in one month, you can combine two to get a tier 2 prize and then use the last one to get a tier 1 prize.
- If you do not wish to get a prize for an OTM, you may ask for points instead. Each OTM is worth 25,000 points.
- OTM prizes do not expire, so you are free to use them whenever.
Golden Points Rules- Golden Points (GP) can be used to purchase items in Tier 3 of the store. These items are unique and will require time and effort put into the site to purchase.
- GP can only be acquired through completing staff run IC events (and select OOC events) - typically earning 10 GP per event. It cannot be exchanged for normal points, Tier 1 & Tier 2 items, or between members. (Such as payment for adopts, as gifts, etc.)
- Items purchased with GP cannot be transferred between members and/or characters. Please take care when deciding which character items will go toward.
- A record of each member's GP will be kept in a post at the bottom of the Holiday Tracker.
- In order to purchase a Tier 3/GP item, post a normal thread in the store using the store form. Staff will then remove the correct amount of GP from the tracking post.

Paint may be used on any part of the body, but manes/tails/hooves/horns may only be covered with paint up to half their visual surface. Hair additions include objects such as beads, flowers, feathers, and small bone charms, and styles include braids and dreadlocks in their mane and/or tail. Black Pangaré - 25,000 points. Allows for black based (not bay) horses to have white/gray hairs around their eyes, muzzle and underside. Does not lighten the mane/tail. This trait can either be passed down with a choose/change foal color item or randomly rolled during foal stats - there are no genetics for it.

Please note that odd markings do not have a chance of being passed on unless the "Genetic Marking" item is also purchased. The color will require two of these genes to show in a child. Please read more about the color pattern here.
Spontaneous Genes - 100,000 points. This item is used in a breeding to add genes that might not otherwise be available. You have the option of adding up to three genes. For example, if in your breeding you receive a black (Ee/aa), you can add three new options such as dun, overo, tobiano, splash, cream, champagne, etc if they were not already available from the parents.
