Gladiator Tournament Round 1 Welcome to the first round contestants. Before we start I would like to go over few things with you.
This form should be in ALL of your gladiator posts, always. At the beginning of all replies.
Name- Breed- Age- Gender- Height- Alliance- Health- we would like to know both mental and physical health. This is a number, normally said in % Past injuries
- Make sure to fill out the form completely. After each post the Health % should drop, if not it will lead to your fighting not being realistic enough and you loose points for that. - For past injuries we only mean injuries that happened in previous rounds of the Gladiator Tournaments (so when you enter a next round the person you are fighting against can read at the top of the post how the character got injured in the last round). For round 1 you leave it blank since there are no past injuries. For Round 2 you write in Round 1 = and then fill out what injuries your character had in round 1. And then this will go on.
At the bottom of your post use this form.
Status (is your post completed or not) Word Count Attacks/Hits Dodges Injuries in this round Personal Note Wins/losses/ties/buy
- Word count can not go over 1000 words. - The attacks/hits are completely up to you, so are the dodges. Just make it realistic. To many attacks compared to opponent and to many dodges will have you loose points. - Injuries in this round = how your character gets hurt by the equine it's fighting against right this moment. - Personal Note - feel free to leave any kind of message you want (hate message, bashing message or anything like that will not be tolerated) - You need to include your wins, losses, ties and buys (though for Round 1 you leave it blank)
THREE days to reply, 2 replies per person. Gladiator Style = you do not have to wait for the opponent to show up, he is already in the ring and person that goes first can start attacking in post number 1. You need to make sure you have the surroundings and weather conditions right through out your post
SURROUNDINGS & WEATHER CONDITIONS - The ground is covered with thick layer of snow. Since it has been snowing heavily for the last couple of days. Right now though it has stopped snowing. For this round the snow is still to thick so the ice underneath it won't be a problem. The sky is clear, though there are some dark clouds creeping in in the distance.
@cats with Falcon will go first followed by @horsehuggr with Hiccup

Falcon trotted onto the battlefield with his legs raised high and his head held up, sending out a grande look. A few months ago he would not have been able to picture himself here like this, cause he did not enjoy fighting and killing like most other darks do. Falcon had been sired by the Helkaer stallion Disneyland Acid Trip, as were many other horses. All his siblings were members of the dark alliance, and they reveled in it. Falcon, in contrast to his brothers and sisters, was more inclined towards the light alliance, or at least part of him was. The part of his mind that was active most of the time was what defined Falcons personality. However, sometimes a switch in his brain flipped and he would suddenly be someone else entirely. It didn’t happen very often and Falcon wasn’t aware of it yet, he just had blank spaces in his memory when his personality was pushed away. He wasn’t participating with the intent to potentially hurt or lethally wound them, but the others didn’t need to know that. Even though Falcon wasn’t sure his father would be displeased that he preferred the light way of living, he wanted to continue trying to fit in with his dark family. Today was a good day to fight. Even though the snow was sticking to the ground and a lot of white coldness had been gathering there, it didn’t make a battle impossible. Falcon would have to make sure he would stay grounded properly throughout the fight. Only when one would scratch away the think layer of snow would the treacherous ice underneath be revealed. There weren’t many clouds present today, which was a good sign in terms of not falling more snow, but it did make the air much colder. Normally warmth would stick between the deck of clouds and the earth, but now it could escape freely. He neared his opponent and nodded his head as a respectful greeting. She was called Hiccup, or so the sign-up list had said and she was rather beautiful. She was only a little bit smaller than he was and he had to admit to himself he thought she was very attractive. Normally Falcon wouldn’t just go and attack a mare but today it didn’t matter. They had both signed up for this and he expected she had taken account with the fact that she would get hurt, just like every other participant. It didn’t matter if you were an experienced Gladiator or if this was your first fight, no one would leave these games in perfect shape. Falcon had also already learned in life that one should not be underestimated, just because he or she was smaller. As soon as he had finished his greeting he went into attack mode. He didn’t want to be the one waiting for an attack to come his way and so he lunged towards her, trying to bite the top of her neck. With any luck he would rip out hairs or maybe tear some skin, he couldn’t immediately see what the result was because he was already turning away from her counter clockwise. Being at her left side he bucked, aiming to hit her soft belly with one or both hind hooves. Standing on two legs for a short moment made him more vulnerable though and the snow caved in underneath the sudden increased weight on his forelegs. He lost his balance and so his attack might not have been as effective as he had hoped for. He trotted away from her a few meter so that he could look at Hiccup and try to assess what his next move would be. So far he hadn’t made an embarrassing blunder yet which he was grateful for, as this was his first fight. He couldn’t have his siblings or fellow herd members talk about how he had slipped and fell in the very first round of the Gladiator Tournaments. He was after all representing them and all honor received would also be in favor of Tomorrowland.

FOR the past couple of days the snow fall had been nonstop, covering Lachlan Breck in a beautiful blanket of white. As much as Hiccup loved to hate everything she did enjoy the snow for some reason. Perhaps because it had a way of making everything look so much better, or maybe it was because it brought the cold weather along with it. Auburn hued tassel flicked against her curvaceous haunches, her cranium held high and her ears pinned back. For some unknown reason she had signed up for this "gladiator tournament." Hiccup had been quite bored and she still had some steam to burn after being stolen by Respira. Of course it was no secret that she was a wanted individual but it didn't make it anymore enjoyable for her while being removed from her new home. So this is what brought her here, to show everyone that she wasn't to be messed with. As if her horrible personality wasn't enough to keep others away from her, now she had to go through with extra precautions. She strolled through Lachlan Breck, enjoying the sights for a moment as she made her exit from her home. It was about that time now when she would be due in The Coliseum, and despite her better judgement she was actually looking forward to it. She wanted the release she would get from tearing into others, not to mention if she would win she could prove to Lachlan Breck that she was the perfect beta. There was a lot riding on this competition, and she wouldn't go down without one hell of a fight. Hiccup took her time as she made her way towards the battleground, her strides easy as she didn't want to slip and fall before even making it into the battle area. She smirked softly at the thought, could you imagine someone injuring themselves before the tournament even started? How embarrassing! She tossed her long forelock out of her face, allowing her icy blue optics to scan the terrain. She was aware of her opponent, a young stallion by the name of Falcon. He was a child of the Helkaer Disneyland Acid Trip, though that was all she had heard of him.
SHE stood motionless, inhaling and exhaling slowly. It was as she felt the crisp air burning her lungs that she saw him and her eyes narrowed. He was just a bit taller then her, but he was young. Perhaps he was inexperienced because of this? She wasn't about to judge a book by it's cover though. She dug her hooves into the snow to provide herself some more traction and braced herself, ready for him to make the first move. Before he approached her he gave her a nod of recognition, in which she returned with a heated smile. Suddenly the snow was flying and then he was upon her, the heat of his body radiating off him. It was when he brushed up alongside her that she felt his teeth sink into her nape a few inches behind her poll. Instantly Hiccup swung her head backwards, intent on slamming her cranium into his. She could feel the stinging sensation as her skin ripped along with a few chunks of mane being pulled from her neck. She gritted her teeth, her vision a bit blurry from wrenching her head back. It was while she was collecting herself that she noticed his disappearance, and scrambled to get out of the way of his flying hind hooves. One unfortunate hoof sliced into the sensitive skin of her underbelly and she could feel the blood seeping from the wound. Hiccup was hot on his heels though, adrenaline coursing through her veins now. Teeth bared wide she snapped at the sensitive tendon above his right hind cannon bone and knee cap, hoping to grab hold in order to tear it to impair movement. She was out for blood and would get it anyway she could. Moving at a trot she came alongside him before sliding to a halt, her front pistons lashing out at his face as she temporarily rose off of the ground in a small rear. She didn't want to test her boundaries and landed quickly afterward before taking her time to move away from him, completely aware of the slick snow beneath her hooves and the trail of blood she was leaving behind her. The cold morning air stung her newest wounds but she refused to let it show, she would be damned if she gave him the satisfaction of seeing her in pain.

As soon as Falcon clenched some clumps of hair and a piece of skin in his mouth, his opponent proved fierce and brave. Instead of trying to avoid or dodge his attack, she slammed her head backwards. Forcefully she hit his jaw with her hard skull and an instant stinging pain arose. He pulled his head back further, ripping out a big chunk of hair and tasting blood on his lips. His attack had hit its target and he felt a bit smug due to it. This was his first battle and in it he was able to draw first blood, even though she had hurt him before. He spat out the strands of hair, not wanting to swallow them and have an itchy feeling in his throat. One of his hooves had also found its target right on her soft belly, tearing open the soft tissue. As soon as he landed, his hoof left behind red footprints fed by Hiccup’s blood. Before he could rejoice, he felt her teeth sinking into his right hind leg and trying to bite through skin and muscle. Sharp pain shot through his leg, blood streaming out of his fresh wound. He turned his head right and lashed out with his teeth, hoping he would be able to Hiccup anywhere. He was almost blinded by pain and wasn’t even sure if she was next to him to where he aimed. He moved his ears to locate Hiccup and heard her passing him towards the front. He turned to her and then she reared up and aimed with her front hooves to hit his face. He turned his face away, feeling one hoof hit his neck, ripping open the skin so a large but shallow cut was made. As soon as she came down, he lashed out with his teeth again. This time she was in front of him and he aimed to get a grasp of her throat, aiming to damage her windpipe. If she was to have trouble breathing, it would be a big benefit to Falcon. She was a tough fighter, there was no doubt about that. This was his first fight and already he had three wounds. He wondered whether she had fought before and if all his next opponents, should he win, would also be experienced. The tournament would sure be more difficult than he had anticipated and he just hoped he had enough skill to advance into the next round.

BLOOD oozed from the small laceration on her underbelly, though the chunk of skin missing from her nape was the most painful of all. There was a ringing in her ears and she pinned them backward meanwhile gritting her teeth. Hiccup was no stranger to getting wounded, but that didn't mean she enjoyed it. If anything she loathed it, and it really pissed her off. Her body was her pride and joy, she reveled in looking good and this little fucker was messing with her appearance. She began chewing on the inside of her lip, her icy blue eyes watching him with a severe intensity. It was while she was in hot pursuit of him that she felt the liquid spill into her open mouth, which she immediately spat back onto the snow. She strongly disliked the taste of blood and didn't understand how some equines actually enjoyed it. What she hadn't expected was his retaliation so quickly, which resulted in a sharp nip on her nose. It was a quick jab and the laceration was directly in between her nostrils, instantly causing the blood to run down her face. An enraged squeal escaped her lips but satisfaction was quick to take it's place when her hooves made solid contact with his neck. It was while Hiccup was landing that he reached out to grab a hold of her windpipe, but she was quick to protect it. Hiccup tucked her neck tightly and lashed out with her front hooves again, this time aiming them repeatedly at his chest and face. When she landed the second time she lost her footing a bit, and while she was sliding she was thankfully able to stabilize herself. Even though she was able to catch herself this caused her laceration on her underbelly to rip open even further.
SHE could feel the blood spilling from the wound but it fueled her even more to continue on. Hiccup kept reminding herself that this was for Lachlan Breck, and that was what made her determined to win this. She kept her back towards Falcon before she directed her hind hooves towards him, aiming for his chest. When her hooves touched down she moved away, the adrenaline waning and the pain ripping through her now. She pinned her ears and let out a rough snort before coming to a complete halt, all four of her hooves planted in the snow. It was bitter and the cold stung her wounds, but this was only the beginning. Initially she had thought he might be inexperienced, but he seemed to be doing quite well for a youngster. This made her contemplate what the rest of her opponents would be like, but she wouldn't know until she faced them. Her neck was beginning to throb where the skin and hair had been removed, and by now her nose was bleeding steadily. The laceration on her underbelly was slowing and beginning to scab but her headache was growing worse by the minute. She was naturally a miserable mare but this would only make it worse, which in result would make it twice as worse for her competitors.

@cats with Falcon Battle Form Completed Each Time: 18 Comments:The form was filled out completely The form was filled out each time, and listed injuries, and attacks used. No Powerplaying/Godmodding: 18 Comments:Falcon did not respond to any of his attacks until AFTER Hiccup/horsehuggr acknowledged the attack had hit. I could not spot out any powerplaying/godmodding. 1000 Words Or Less: 18 Comments:Word counts were listed, and I checked each. They were appropriate in length. All good. Correct Setting: 18 Comments:They acknowledged the snow quite well, although the condition of the sky wasn't included. The surroundings was mentioned quite well. Realistic Attacks: 18 Comments:Reading these posts I actually could picture each one, and have seen similar attacks in REAL horse fights. (Like in Cloud/other documentaries.) The attacks were very realistic and could very well happen in real life battles. Realistic Dodges: 18 Comments:Falcon did not use any, which actually eluded to his inexperience during the fight. Didn't use any Realistic Injuries: 17 Comments:I felt she could have gone into more detail about the injuries Falcon experienced. Aside from the pain, I felt the injury to his leg would've affected him a bit more, especially since she listed damage to the tissue & muscle. It could have been a bit more realistic, it was lacking some of the details and some could have effected the horse more. Spelling/Grammar: 15 Comments:I found a few mistakes in each of her posts. Nothing major, most of them being spelling errors. Few spelling and grammar errors. Nothing to major though Total Score: 140 @horsehuggr with Hiccup Battle Form Completed Each Time: 19 Comments:The form was filled out completely Filled out each time, attacks, dodges, and injuries were all listed each time. No Powerplaying/Godmodding: 19 Comments:I could not spot out any powerplaying/godmodding. Hiccup/horsehuggr was also incredibly respectful and waited for Falcon/Cats to indicate the severity/injuries that took place. 1000 Words Or Less: 19 Comments: Each of her posts were less than 1000. I checked each of these as well. All under 1000. Correct Setting: 19 Comments:I felt horsehuggr actually paid more attention to the surrounding detail throughout the battle. Good surrounding, described in good details. Realistic Attacks: 19 Comments:I got the same sensation reading Hiccup's attacks that I did from Falcons. Her retaliations were very realistic. Very good attacks, all could possible happen in real life. Realistic Dodges: 19 Comments:Hiccup/horsehuggr assessed the need for dodges very well. Tucking her head from Falcon's attempt to grab her throat was smart fighting. Nicely described and a good call for using a dodge at that attack. Realistic Injuries: 18 Comments:I felt horsehuggr actually played the injuries MORE realistically than Cats/Falcon did. Hiccup's injuries were more severe, but they were elaborated on. This was the biggest deciding factor for me personally. Very realistic injuries, it had a nice description and it was clearly that it effected the mare. Spelling/Grammar: 18 Comments:I found a few grammar/word mistakes. Using 'then' when she should've used 'than' in one post. I found one spelling error. Very minor things that I spotted out. Total Score: 150
CONGRATULATION TO HICCUP for winning this round
