Gladiator Tournament Round 3 USE the same form, in the same way as in Round 1 (you can go to posts in round 1 to find it) <- important to read the form over from round 1 to freshen your memories.
THREE days to reply, 2 replies per person. Gladiator Style = you do not have to wait for the opponent to show up, he is already in the ring and person that goes first can start attacking in post number 1. You need to make sure you have the surroundings and weather conditions right through out your post
SURROUNDINGS & WEATHER CONDITIONS - The temperature is still around 0°C (32 F / I am hoping that is right, using a converter for this). The dark clouds are creeping it and are now almost over the gladiator tournament ring. The ground is slippery since the snow has been kicked up so much and is almost gone. It's time for the contestants to watch out or they are in the risk of braking some bones if they land badly on the ice.
@cats with Praetorian will go first followed by @grafiti with Ephraim

Name- Praetorian Breed- Quarter Horse Age- 4 Gender- Stallion Height- 16.3hh Alliance- Light Physical Health- 100% Mental Health- 100% Past injuries-The large bay stallion walked into the Gladiator arena, all ready for his fight of today. He had been scheduled for two battles before this one and he had won both of them, though it wasn't because he was such a good fighter. Something had gone wrong with his first battle, perhaps a confusion with his enemy, and Praetorian had won his round because of it. His second battle was matched against Lady Katherine and she had never showed up to the arena, which granted Praetorian another win. So here he was, in the Gladiator tournament in round three, with no injuries and without being exhausted of previous fights. He had warmed up his muscles by running a few rounds around the terrain and was quite glad he had done so. It was very cold outside and fighting with cold muscles might prove too difficult for him. Also the weather conditions weren't much more optimal than they had been a few days ago. Back then a layer of show had covered the ground and it had at most limited the freedom of movement a bit. And today the effects of the previous battle had become clear. The snow had been stomped on so often that it had turned into a layer of slippery ice. The weather conditions in the sky wasn't improving either, dark clouds were creeping in and threatening with even more snowfall. Praetorian could only hope they would keep their cold fluff to themselves for as long as his fight would last. He wasn't really interested in how badly the battles after him would be. His opponent looked familiar to Praetorian, though he could not recall where he had seen him before. It must have been at the gathering before the tournament had started, when the rules had been explained to all participants. He gave a quick nod towards the other stallion, Ephraim, though he had no expectations of getting a sign of respect back. He had already noticed that the amount of lights present were with few and so the chance that Ephraim was a light was slim. It didn't cause Praetor's manners to just turn absent though and he felt good about himself for being decent. Without waiting longer he went into attack mode. He had to be really careful with his attacks and especially his hoof placement. One wrong step could give some nasty injuries and it could mean a free win for his opponent. Praetor neared towards the other fighters and lifted his front left leg in aim to kick Ephraim at his chest. Even though he didn't think an attack like this would do major damage, but he noticed he already had trouble with keeping his balance on just three legs. He felt good about himself that he decided to go for a cautious attack first, if he would have tried to trot op to Ephraim and just rear the shit out of it it might have gone horribly wrong. While he was trying to kick Ephraim at his chest, Praetor also snapped out with his teeth aimed at his opponents nose. The skin there was very thin and sensitive and if hit properly it might make it bleed badly. He had learned from experience that head injuries tend to bleed more most of the time than other injuries, though they might not even be too serious. If he was able to get a grip of Ephraim's sensitive skin, he might be able to rip the skin for a large part. Praetor would hope that the taste of so much blood would startle the other stallion, giving Praetor a slight advantage. But that was of later concern. Right now, he would just have to make sure he even got close to hitting his target. Yet again, I find myself caught up in the midst of a fight that I had no intentions of losing. I wanted to win. I needed to win. I needed to face off my demons, namely Kerberus, and prove not only to myself, but to him, that I was stronger, tougher, more able than he. That I would and could survive everything and anything that was thrown at me. Facing off my opponent, I let my gaze move over the other's frame and studied him for just a few seconds before he had decided to attack. I wasn't completely comfortable with the ice beneath my hooves and knew that, were i to slip it would be one simple mistake that would cost me a loss or worse, a life. That wasn't acceptable. I was not about to allow this stag to defeat me. Lark would not be without me in this world for fear that she wouldn't survive. Should kerberus find out about my defeat, he would surely go after Lark and rid the world of her. That thought alone was enough to spur me into motion.
The other brute's kick was premeditated and I had dodged it by sinking back on my haunches, nearly sitting in the snow. I let out a neigh in warning and narrowed my gaze at him. In the seconds between his first attack and second, I snaked my cranium out and snapped at his archway dangerously. However, he had managed to lash me yet again and I missed my mark, catching his blow to my muzzle. I took a couple of steps back and shook my crown, the snow that had clung to my mane was now melted and soaked the locks of my ebony cords. I could feel the blood dripping from the laceration on my muzzle and peered down at the crimson coloring the stark white snow. I pinned my ears back against my skull and charged him with the intent of shouldering him off balance and knocking him back in the snow.

Name- Praetorian Breed- Quarter Horse Age- 4 Gender- Stallion Height- 16.3hh Alliance- Light Physical Health- 85% Mental Health- 100% Past injuries-With a feeling of content Praetorian was watching how the ice underneath his opponent was coloring red with his blood. His first attack had just completely missed cause Ephraim was able to dodge it. His second attack though, where he wanted to bite Ephraim's nose to make it bleed, had hit his target. Praetorian had never fought before and this was his first attack he ever performed that was also succesful. While he had been gloating, Ephraim had charged at him and smashed his full weight into his side. Praetorian could feel his hoof slipping over the ice cause by the impact of the large stallion and he wasn't able to keep his balance. His efforts to stay up right failed and with a hard smack he fell on the stone-hard ground, injuring his right side in the process. He tried to get up quickly, but in his haste he wasn't able to regain his footing and he slipped away again, while also pulling a muscle in his lower left leg, caused by the futile attempts to get up. He could feel a numbing pain in his body from the fall and the cold sipping through his skin radiating from the ground made the pain even worse. It was a sharp stinging pain, a pain that was often caused my coldness like this. The fact that it was ice melted by his body temperature made it worse than the cold cause by harsh winds. Ice-water had the tendency to creep through your skin, muscle and even bones so that it could manifest it's coldness in the deepest parts of your body. Being unable to get up, Praetorian tried to attack from the ground. He had no other option than using his teeth and so he tried to bite in either of Ephraim's pasterns, hoping it would do at least minor damage. Praetorian was certainly not in the position to do any major damage and he could only hope the fight would be over soon. After he attacked, he tried to get up yet again, desperately wanting to get on his feet. Not only was the cold dangerous, he was also much more vulnerable lying on the ground. His next attempt to get on all four again finally succeeded, though not without slipping around. He could now only lean on three legs and it gave him a major disadvantage. I felt a little triumph when my opponent slipped in the snow that was now tainted with my own blood. I ignored the crimson that stained my otherwise blushed muzzle and snaked my head down to bite him, aiming for his ear. I wanted him to stay down, to be vulnerable. Since in this vulnerable position, I could easily rear up and plant my deadly hooves in the other brute's side, maybe crush some ribs in the process, which was my original intent. I reared up on my hind legs, striking the frozen air with my front hooves with every intention of coming down upon my opponent.
Until he snapped at my legs. In my haste to step away from him, I was thrown off balance and instead of gracefully falling to the frozen earth, I fell backwards into the snow and ice, landing with a bone-crunching thud on my side. The air had been knocked out of my lungs and I couldn't seem to gulp the icy air around me and refill my lungs in my rush. I took a dizzying moment to regain my posture before painfully rolling to my other side, away from my opponent and getting to my feet. I stood there, breathing heavy with puffs of steam billowing from my muzzle, pain streaking throughout my body, radiating from my bruised, if not broken, ribcage.
