Wild Equines IC Races
how it works
1. Every so often, a race will be held.
2. A staff will post the rules of the race - for example the types of participants (age, gender). They will post the amount of time that is given for each member to post. Staff will also include a description of the type of terrain - including any obstacles that might be found, word limits.
3. Each roleplayer may enter ONE horse per race. You may win races consecutively.
4. Each contestant will post three times in the race thread.
- ONE - Enter and start the race.
- TWO - Middle of the race // What is happening as they cross the terrain.
- THREE - Crossing the finish line, not specifying who won or lost. How they feel about it, physically, emotionally, so on and so forth.
You are allowed to mention the other equines participating and NPC's, just beware of power-playing.
5. For completing the three race posts, you will automatically earn 10,000 points.
In addition:
- First Place - 40,000 points
- Second Place - 30,000 points
- Third Place - 20,000 points
- Fourth Place & On - 10,000 points
6. Winners will always be drawn using a random number generator. However, those who do not follow the guidelines (the terrain/setting offered, any signs of power-playing) will not be included.
what will happen
1. Staff post a thread stating that there is to be a race, and fill out the form.
2. Contestants say that they would like to compete - They have a week to enter.
3. After a week, staff will use a RNG to generate the posting order, and will repost the form in a new thread.
4. Their post and the completed form will count as the "starter post". The race will start immediately after.
