Name: RhaegarBreed: Shire x ClysedaleAge: TenPersonality: The most important thing to know about this stallion is the reason why he carried on through the struggles of his youth. With his facial deformation of a cleft palate (otherwise and more casually known as a cleft lip) and consequently his speech impediment, Rhaegar was bullied constantly as a foal. The stag struggles to pronounce the consonant of 'S' and so he will, where possible, avoid saying it. When forced, however, he will attempt it and when on his own he frequently practices the letter to better pronounce it but for now he has a tendency to hiss and/or stutter when he tries it. But what kept this stallion going was what started as a voice inside his head. Now this singular voice has fully formed into the Great Red Dragon and he is well on track for his becoming. A deceptively shy and demonic stallion; Rhaegar is an unsettling presences to be near to due to his huge inability to trust but his great ability to radiate unease. He will never fully rely on anyone for anything and as a consequence is a very solitary figure; think of him with a lone wolf but with more bite. Since very early youth, Rhaegar has had a fascination with teeth and has even gone to lengths to modify and customise his own. It may have caused him significant pain and many hours gnawing at sharp bones but now he had irregularly shaped teeth with sharper edges and he was very happy with his creation after perfecting them over multiple years. It's taken Rhaegar a considerable amount of time to train the dragon within himself and his becoming is still not yet fully complete. He started by projecting violence onto small animals like mice and rats, but soon the great red dragon was telling him to kill weak foals - the next thing Rhaegar knew he was on the hunt for content families to sacrifice them to the dragon within himself. It is this Great Red Dragon, the famous iconic figure within his old surrogate home, that kept him ticking over in his mortal life and continues to keep him going in the afterlife too. The Beast gives him a drive to do something; it just so happens that Rhaegar's foundations are rotted with dark intentions from an abusive and lonesome upbringing.History: His very first moments were dramatic; Rhaegar was born into wealth and his birth held many complications. So much so that he needed the aid of healers to assist him in the first few minute of his breathing. Once Rhaegar's breathing had been settled, he was shown to his biological mother and she instantly rejected; his lip palate would bring shame upon their family name - the father didn't want to be active in his role anyway and so Rhaegar was orphaned and left for dead far outside the herd lands. When Rhaegar was at his weakest and about to die, a kindly stallion came across him, foraged food for him and took him back to his small but comfortable herd. The orphaned foal spent four years there, being bought up the correct way and having the stallion focus every day on improving Rhae's speech impediment. However things went sour in this surrogate home when the lead mare and stallion gave birth to their first heirs; twins. A year was all Rhaegar could withstand of their torments and taunts before the Dragon within him breathed fire for the first time. With a set of efficient bites to the throat, the stallion ripped the very life from the two colts and that was game, set, match. He would have simply left had it not been for the Great Red Dragon whispering within the bone arena of his skull. The beast told him to kill the leaders; he had to kill them in order to progress to the next stage of his becoming. Refuse? The Dragon within vowed to kill him if he even thought of such an option. He, with the power of the dragon as company, tracked and murdered the leaders and then departed that land for a more distant horizon. The thrill of those cold-blooded kills had unleashed a new side to the dragon that Rhaegar had not yet seen. He was now eight and full of a fiery blood-lust. It had been years since his last full kill and the dragon was hungry for more. He needed to find another family to decimate; to prey on and destroy. It wasn't for him; it was for the great red dragon. It took him a couple of months to track down the right herd and then a couple of weeks on top of that to identify the leaders and important foals within the herd, but death was upon them as soon as Rhaegar and the Dragon had worked it out. As a bonus, any other herd members spotted fleeing were chased down, and the red chestnut stallion remained lurking in the shadows of that herd land in case stragglers were foolish enough to return there. He was content that he could make another kill a few days after the dragon's main feast. It was a year since he had preyed upon that second herd and that fateful night would prove to haunt Rhaegar (literally). The beta mare from that very herd had been away on a hunting trip when she had come back to her bloody home. It was only because of a fearful straggler she chanced upon in a freeland that this mare found out Rhaegar's description and possible whereabouts. It had taken her a year to hunt him down but Rhae had taken everything from her and so this was her one drive in life. It paid off when she finally found him, jumped him, tore his eye from his socket with her teeth and put a swift end to him with a heavy kick to the skull. She wanted to be quick because she didn't want him turning the tables on her; had she even thought about gloating the element of surprise she had over him would have been lost.He came to wild equines in search for power, and even though he was a new face he was granted the position of Lord of Hell. He took it up with pride, serving alongside the mighty Artemisia and the trusted dragon. While the role was not easy, there was no denying that it was rewarding even if respect was hard to gain. He served hell as best he could, until one day the dragon took over him entirely, it's relentless corruption sending him out of action. He had finished his becoming, his once infinite power dwindling to a finite presence despite the great promises of the dragon. He felt betrayed. He had lost his throne and was cast out by his heathen queen, yet he is unsure as to whether he left on good or bad terms. With the dragon on the back-burner within his skull, Rhaegar only desires to still serve hell in any way he can. Although his flame has diminished and his power drained, his loyalty to the Underworld is unwavering and absolute.Cause of death: A swift and unexpected kick to the skull from the beta mare of the herd he wiped out for the thrill.Important Life Events:- Abandoned by original parents due to his deformity of a cleft lip.- Adopted by a kindly herd leader just days away from death.- New born heirs of the herd bullied and tormented him, causing him to lash out at them and murder them with swift bites to the throat. This is when he realised he carried the dragon within him.- Killed the herd leaders by command of the dragon.- He then targeted another herd and took months surveying them before making his calculated and cold move to kill off the herd.- The beta mare from that very herd found and tracked Rhaegar, killing him swiftly and with a surprise attack in order to get justice for her herd.- Came to wile equines as a dead equine and acquired the throne soon after.- He ruled for 4 months before he fully became the dragon.- Due to the intensity of this transformation, Rhaegar was unable to exist as normal, his very essence fading into nothing. Once he had become the dragon he could no longer be.- After a month of the same darkness, Rhaegar managed to get himself out of the dark abyss he had found himself in and had returned to hell once more.Going to Utopia or The Underworld?(doesn't mean you will get it) Underworld
