Artemisia is incapable of love, she will devote herself to one male, but only for the sake of strategy, she knows strength in numbers is key and will see anything through to the end, no matter how many lives will be lost. History:
At the age of only six months, Artemisia witnessed her entire family slain by the enemy clan, her mother brutally raped, her father mutilated and slain. Artemisia watched from a distance until they found her. They kept her in the confines of their slave cells up until three, her body regularly abused and raped until they let her go, forcing her to drag her broken body miles to the next harem. They took her in, trained her up using the hostility and anger in which she harbored as a driving force, her solemn promise to kill those who destroyed her her sole aim in life. The king noticed her skill and adopted her as a daughter, allowing her to command his warriors and becoming the most feared army in the lands.
During one battle however, the king was slain by the hands of those who had crossed her before. Artemisia dropped her guard, her loyalty to the king strong, even as the powers changed, she remained true. They fought battle after battle, her prowess for war grew stronger everyday, with every drop of blood she spilled, and every head she removed, Artemisia grew in herself and became the one everyone wanted on their side. It was only a matter of time until the king fell, his stupidity outweighed his brutality, and soon enough he was cut down by the opposition, leaving Artemisia to find a new cause, a new army to lead, new blood to spill.
