Personality: Celeste is a lot more prim and proper than her younger half sister Maybelline. Celeste doesn't allow herself to become angered quickly and enjoys to wash regularly, using lovely scented flowers as perfume whenever possible and sometimes keeping a flower for her mane. Celeste is a very well mannered mare and is very gentle with foals no matter who their parents are, becoming nurturing as well as a teacher if left alone with them for too long, though has never been a mother to a live foal herself. Celeste enjoys chats with fellow mares, talking about stallions or things they have found during the day. She doesn't mind stallions and will have small chats with them too, it's easy to tell if she likes someone when she starts to get a little flirty and batting her long eyelashes, Celeste won't admit it but she enjoys a good flirt. One surprising thing about Celeste is that she is self-conscious about her spots, she often worries if others thought they were ugly, that she is a freak or that others would think her mother mated with a deer, often found trying to cover them with leaves, flowers or bark if she can get them to stay on. Celeste has a beautiful and kind heart, never does she hold grudges and she always finds it in her heart to forgive even though the other person doesn't deserve it, she does it for her own peace.
History: Before Angeline (Celestes and Maybelline's mother) was imported from France, she was put through training then shows before breeding as they wanted her to be a champion before her first foal. Angeline was bred to the champion stallion and was expected to have an absolutely stunning foal, however, her owners were not too impressed with the foal she had birthed, upon seeing the spots they thought the foal was cursed and a bad omen They separated the pair and took Celeste far away, abandoning her outside the country in the wilds before returning back to the stud, selling Angeline and shipping her overseas. Celeste was found by a band of wild horses that were either released in the wilds or escaped, a few of the stallions tried to attack her as most of the mares pushed her away and snapped at her, only one mare protected her from the rest and took Celeste as her own. Over the months Celeste grew and became stronger and more beautiful, yet every day she tried new ways to hide her spots, unable to bare the torment the other foals showered on her. Celeste left the band once she was two years old, unable to take the torment any longer. However, Celeste was discovered by humans again and it didn't take much for her to be caught. Surprisingly these humans liked her spots and spent many hours training her and showing her like her mother had been once before it seemed these humans did not find her spots to be a curse but more of a lucky charm because on the day they found her, they also found new land to farm. For three years Celeste lived happily and felt love by these humans, that was until the day they put a stallion over her, she didn't feel ready to be a mother or even be mated and yet they forced her into the yard with the cream stallion. Then the day when she was confirmed to be a few months pregnant she really found out how much they loved her, not at all, as they sold her then put her on the next ship so that she could go to her new owner. The seas were rough, the food was awful and it seemed the humans didn't care how filthy all the horse's pens were, it got to the point where Celeste became seriously ill and ended up going into labour early, giving birth to a stillborn foal that had not fully developed. The humans didn't even know what had happened as no one came down for days to check on her or to even feed and water her. The illness, lack of food and clean water soon got the better of Celeste and she ended up passing away in the middle of the ocean, next to the rotting corpse of her child.
