Name: Ala
Breed: American Quarter Horse x Morgan x Tennessee Walking Horse
Age: Died at 5
Personality: Ala is a dark soul. She enjoys the morbid side of life and is fascinated by life and death. If she could, she would be the equine to help ferry deceased souls to their afterlife rather than just be a member of a society, but the accepts her life and enjoys the pleasures that life can bring.
Ala is the type to indulge in whatever strikes her fancy. She is not one to search for power, nor ignore any duties that are put her way. The silver perlino mare is the one that will be steadfast in her work, but be more than willing to play and enjoy herself. She can be a fickle creature, difficult to connect to in a true way. Once you earn her true loyalty, she will not turn easily and will be one of the first to jump to defense of those that she cares for.
Ala is shallow in her thoughts and motives. She likes handsome boys and fun times. Thankfully, this fickle being has not been responsible for the life of a baby as of yet. She can be forgetful and unpredictable at times. That being said, she would enjoy the chance to have one in the future if she were to ever settle down.
Ala is competitive to the extreme. She hates to lose and can become rather moody if she does. The mare likes to be the best at anything that she does do and will do her best to prove her excellence. Pride is one of her downfalls. She feels that she is the most beautiful and does her best to keep herself looking flawless.
History: Ala was raised in a small, isolated herd on the outskirts of Wild Equines. Her parents were the leaders and she was the perfect child in their eyes. She became spoiled and selfish, caring more about what she could do and how she could be perfect than what her future was supposed to be. Ala was the princess of her herd and was treated as such for a long time.
When the silver perlino dun was 2 years old, her mother became fed up with her attitude toward life and her future. Her mother petitioned her father to send her out to grow up and become the future leader that she was meant to be. The pair fought bitterly for days before her sire finally accepted and sent the filly out on her own.
Ala was a living being of wrath and pride. She moved through the lands killing mares that she found competition in appearance and stallions that turned her down. When she was 4, Ala began her trek home. She had grown into a striking young mare, sixteen hands of silvery cream with darker points and tan python markings decorating her frame. The mare was more fickle and vengeful than she had been when she was sent away.
When she arrived at her one time home, she stopped on a rise and stared down at the herd that she was destined to rule. Snorting, she pranced down the hill and met with her parents. She struck out at her dam, killing her with pale tan hoof to the center of her forehead. Her sire, seeing the fallen form of his mate, turned and attacked. He had heard of her wrath, but had hoped that the rumors were wrong.
The two figures battled for hours, both becoming slick with crimson blood. The lead stallion finally managed to get his teeth to her throat and finished the battle with her death. By this point, Her sire had lost so much blood that he had no chance to survive the encounter. The herd mourned the loss of their leaders and scorned the wrathful princess. A new leader was selected and the late leaders sent to the afterlife with the love of their band. Ala was left where she fell when the group departed the area.
Cause of death: Sire killed her with a blow to the throat.
Important Life Events: Exiled from her band at 2, traveled around killing mares and stallions, killed mother and got into massive battle with sire that ended with both of their deaths.
Going to Utopia or The Underworld?: Underworld
Why do they deserve it?: Ala is filled with wrath and hatred of those that do not live up to her standards. She had done nothing that would land her in Utopia and has no desire to be there.
