Hello friends, I have a few characters that I just can't seem to click with anymore, and have chosen to adopt them out! If they can't find homes, I'll either keep them frozen, hand them to those who want them otherwise, or kill them off. Without further ado, here are the ones to go.
Name: Diving Bell
Gender: Mare
Age: Five
Breed: APH x AQH
Height: 15hh
Colour: Dapple Grey Tobiano (black base)
Markings: Tobiano Markings, jagged scar running down her right shoulder
Personality: Scatterbrained. Reckless. Wild. All words to describe Diving Bell. Despite being half a decade old, Bell hasn't truly grown out of her yearling stage for the moment. She enjoys playing games and having fun. Work isn't her forte, and she'd sooner babysit foals all day than do anything boring like patrolling or scouting for food. She's relatively fearless too, freely trotting into potentially dangerous situations with a fool's amount of courage and optimism. Possible bear cave? Let's check it out. Long jump to a pool below? She's all for it. Any dare, she'll probably take it. The confidence and carefree nature borders on arrogance and a childish feeling of invincibility. She's more likely to downplay the trouble she gets in than actually take responsibility for her actions.
Despite all this, Bell is a rather joyous individual, preferring to make peace and live life to its fullest than fight, while encouraging others to do the same. Even in the face of the worst individuals, when fear does worm its way to the forefront, her first desire will be to talk things out than to get violent. If that fails... well, it may be the only time you see Bell with her tail between her legs and fleeing as fast as possible. Yes, despite her bold nature, she's a relative fraidy cat when actually trouble comes knocking, and it would take a village to have her overcome it.
History: Despite being such a wild child, Bell didn't have that extraordinary of a life. She grew up in a close-knit herd with very little outside influence to 'scare her straight.' Understandably, she became bold very early on without anything to teach her to be properly afraid, and it didn't help that her father encouraged the behavior either. He would be the one coming up with adventures and stories for her to feed off of, to inspire her to be more than she was. All good things, if tempered by humility, but though her mother tried, Bell just wasn't having any of it. The moment she learned to be afraid was during a particularly daring stunt while racing her father. In an effort to get ahead in the run, she took a more dangerous path that led to her trying to leap across a fairly wide gap for her nine-month-old frame. She ended up falling short and slicing her shoulder on a rock, and only her father's intervention had her walk away from the experience.
Yet after she healed, while she was cautious and afraid for a bit, her father's coaxing soon brought the wild child back to life, though to her, the lesson was to hide the fear until whatever she was facing was too much. Then, the first option was to run, if it was just from her problems. She ended up leaving her herd after her father died to make her own way in life, eager to explore the world and drink in everything she can about the joys it has in store for her.
Other: She comes with her own art piece you can use, as well as a same-sex breeding I never got around to using

Name: Aragorn
Gender: Stallion
Age: Five
Breed: Pony of the Americas
Height: 12hh
Colour: Black Leopard Spotted
Markings: Black leopard spots and a large black patch on his right shoulder
Personality: Aragorn may be small, but you wouldn't know it from his personality. Gentle, kind, dedicated, he's not the kind of stallion to allow his size to affect him from doing the right thing. He's almost chivalrous in his desire to be helpful to those who seem to need aid, and rarely turns those away in need. This sense of duty also gives him a very keen idea of justice, and Aragorn does his best to be fair, but also deliver judgement, favorable or not, onto those he meets. While difficult to get on his bad side, he isn't known to let insults or blatant violence against his herd or himself slide easily. Small? Maybe, but he will do whatever he has to in order to set things right again, or stand up for whoever or whatever he believes in. By and large, however, Aragorn far prefers diplomacy and working things out to violence.
If violence is the only option, however, he is far more likely to win by using underhanded tactics and dirty tricks than outright fighting. He's not unaware that his small stature leads to many disadvantages, and that is advantages against large opponents aren't many. But you can bet that he's quick to take advantage of the upper hands he does have.
History: Born as the prince to a flourishing kingdom, Aragorn was taught almost from birth to lead. He grew up learning that the crown ultimately meant nothing if the people didn't see you as a real king, and to earn that right was something to constantly work hard to earn. It meant being fair and selfless, working for the good of the herd rather than himself. He took these lessons to heart as he grew. But not everything was born to be peaceful. The kingdom was raided, his father killed, and only he and his mother escaped the carnage. They became outlaws in their own land, and Aragorn had to cover up his pelt constantly to make sure he wasn't recognized. For years he hid like this, but one day he was discovered. His mother begged him to run while she held them off, and to this day, Aragorn's greatest shame was listening to her. She lost her life making sure he could get away, and the desire to take his kingdom back went up like smoke.
Instead, he wandered away from his home, finding himself in the land of Wild Equines a year later, still feeling hunted, still wanting to escape the old expectations laid upon him.
Other: He currently resides in Dark Wood, but I haven't had the muse to get him active =/

Name: Queen's Bane
Gender: Mare
Age: Four
Breed: Belgian Warmblood x Nokota
Height: 15.3hh
Colour: Grullo Sabino
Markings: Sabino markings
Personality: Queen acts like her namesake in only one way, and that is the regal way in which she carries herself. Other than that, she has a habit of being over dramatic, truly born to perform, and very much the type to play the victim. She enjoys fun and flirting, very much a one-night-stand kind of mare with pretty much anybody that holds her interest, and she's not very good at keeping secrets, whether it's a kiss and tell situation or not. Very vain, Queen spends a long time meticulously grooming herself when she gets up, wanting to look her very best. If her looks don't catch attention, then her antics sure will make up for it. Deep down, this desire for attention was a result of her parents doting on her twin rather than her. But as it stands now? She has too much fun, at least on the surface, passing between stallions like water and drawing eyes to her wherever she goes.
Change? Not for somebody less than extraordinary. Still, she doesn't wish harm on anybody, and desires only the freedom to do and be who she is. Hurting others just isn't her style, and she finds it distasteful when others do it.
History: Neither her family nor her twin speak to her, but you won't hear Queen complain about it.
The nicest thing her mother ever said to her was 'you two look perfect,' and even then the praise was for her brother. Sill, she was given the name Queen's Bane, and Queen likes to think it was because she has the looks fit to steal the crown off a queen herself. It was about the only thing she thanked her parents for. Jealously was her constant companion when she was younger, and it only grew into adolescence. Her brother did his best to try and fill the void, but Queen held bitter resentment for taking up all of their parents' attentions. Instead, she began getting into trouble and making up stories. The lectures and shouting matches became her regular routine for earning some manner of acknowledgement. It became even worse over the years as her parents groomed her twin to be the herd leader one day, and with that, Queen had had enough. She left, and ever since she's been roaming. Not much changed, aside from being alone. Well, most of the time. She quickly picked up on why others seemed to do double takes when they saw her, and her nights weren't so lonely.
Part of her resents how she has to loan herself out to get the attention she wants.
But that part isn't so loud nowadays.
Other: Nothing extra for her, she's a pretty blank slate

Name: Black Mamba
Gender: Stallion
Age: Three
Breed: Paint x Friesian x Appaloosa
Height: 16hh
Colour: Black Snowflake
Markings: Snowflake
Personality: Mamba did not take after his mother for height and the hefty draft blood. As a result, instead of jumping to brute force, the black stallion prefers cunning and wit. If he needs something done, he will make sure that every possible avenue is in his favor before he takes an action. Though he is young, his age is not indicative of the large amount of patience he possesses in making sure all of his ducks line up how he wants. So patient is he, that he is prepared to wait months or even years until his 'perfect moment' for vengeance emerges. At the heart of it, while he is patient and thoughtful on the surface, below it, his every action is fueled with the need for revenge. He has no regard for the safety of those he aligns with so long as the job gets done, and has no need to seek power unless it gets him what he wants. Mares and foals are things to consider only when his personal quest is dealt with, and if he finds anything sooner, it'll be because he'll want to raise a foal with the same singular focus he has: to end his mother for killing his father.
He very much believes that it's a stallion's job to be in charge and guard the herd. He thinks, with that protection, comes an owed duty from the mares to carry that stallion's foals. And to that end, foals either become heir to his mantle, or they become soldiers to further that mantle. Admittedly, he sees colts more as soldiers than he does fillies, though he'd be the first to admit to being equally wrong if proven so. While he did follow his father and believes in some of his core principles, Mamba has a wider view of the world that, he hopes, will keep himself alive. Namely, despite believing in a mare's duty to a stallion, he also watched that same belief get his father killed. While he will never forgive his mother for striking his father down, he is open to changing his stances and having a more successful herd function down the line.
Well, having his own herd after he succeeds in his goal at least.
History: The second oldest son of Dominoe, Mamba didn't understand at first why he was being taken from his mother. Of all of her children, Mamba held out the longest against his father poisoning him against his mother. But eventually, after a long enough time away from the steadying presence his dam, Mamba bought into everything his father said. Broodmare. Useless. Weak. He came to see all of this in his mother as the years went by and she did nothing to prove him otherwise. Since he couldn't learn from her, he turned to his father. While his older brother was groomed to lead, Mamba was groomed to deceive. Politics, manners, how to make his own masquerade. While the painted stallion absorbed all of this, he didn't buy into the violence as a first resort and putting himself up as the first line of defense. Instead, the young stallion learned more how to manipulate others into doing his dirty work. He was two years old when his father was killed, murdered by the very mother he'd seen as worthless. Instead of changing his mind, he got mad, as did his siblings. His brother, now herd leader, sent him out to do one thing, and one thing only: avenge their father.
Mamba was happy to, as his father and siblings were the only ones he could really say were there for him. Over the journey to Wild Equines, however, he has seen many things that have challenged his father's core principles that just seem to work better than the system back home. Knowing this, he has another goal in mind: get vengeance for himself, and then break free into a herd of his own.
Other: Mamba is Dominoe's son, and has specifically come to Wild Equines to hunt her down in return for Dominoe killing his father. We can absolutely talk around plotting with that more he currently lives in Ittudale with Shine.
