The cremello filly was starting to fill out a bit. The month of hunger and loneliness had stunted her growth a little, but she'd more than rebounded, and her coat caught the sun in a way that made her almost look like liquid gold, her steps even and sure. Her blue eyes flicked here and there, as she explored, almost looking like a ghost as she slipped through the trees, curiosity driving her forward. Kladden had brought her here, and she liked it. It was sunny for now, but she doubted it would stay that way for long. It was mid day, and she was just curious about the world around her.
She stopped as she found the edges of a road, and she was curious about it, the weird path drawing her along. She moved slowly, sweeping her ears back and forth as well as her gaze, taking everything in. She wanted to learn her new home, inside and out. She was hoping to find caves, and maybe one with a natural spring... but this strange path drew her attention still. She expected something to pop out at her, even if she'd been assured that nothing bad would get her. She didn't much trust that, right now, as she walked forward, ignoring her fear. She wanted to know what was here.

Aros and his family had returned to the Isle now that Hound was gone. The silver-black stag with skeletal markings traipsed along the familiar path that led away from the structure at the center of the isle. He was likely one of the more stubborn broncs. He'd had an encounter with the previous inhabitants, and he had been defiant the whole duration of his captivity. At least Eris had been safe during all of this. His orange gaze slid along the terrain around him. There was a slight breeze, and the sun was shining. That seemed like a rare occurrence here. He found he almost preferred it that way, then his coat didn't make him so hot. So long as he stayed beneath the canopy of trees that dotted the edges of the path he would be comfortable.
Aros picked his way along the path almost casually, as if his stroll was for leisure rather than boredom. He frequently felt an itch to stir up some good-natured trouble for those he lived with. This could come in many forms, and often reactions ranged from joyous to irritated. So far his captors were the only ones who hadn't taken kindly to his jabs. In the distance, he caught the glimpse of a golden figure darting through the trees, and then eventually found themselves wandering toward him along the same path. Aros noted they probably hadn't seen him yet and so he decided to conceal himself off the trail nearby.
A grin found its way to the corners of his jaggedly marked lips as he lay in wait for his newest victim. A little pop-out surprise wouldn't hurt anyone. Once they drew close enough, he could see that it was a young filly with cremello colouring. Aros flicked his silvery tail before he popped out of the brush beside the trail. "Gotcha!" He called out with a joyous cackle. Aros didn't move once he'd abruptly emerged from the brush, and hoped she wouldn't run too far if she was startled.
Raven tossing Aros at you <3 He's trying to pop out of the bushes to surprise her haha [newclass=.hideScrollParentAros]background-color:#67676d;width:70%;color:#fff;border: 3px double #fff;[/newclass] [newclass=.hideScrollChildAros]height:400px;overflow:auto;width:80%;font-family:arial;font-size:12px;text-align:left;color:#fff;[/newclass] [newclass=.hideScrollChildAros::-webkit-scrollbar]display:hidden;width:0px;[/newclass] Aros by foxbourne

So focused on her destination she hadn't heard nor seen the dark beast so reared as soon as he showed up, little hooves lashing at the air between them in surprise and fear. She couldn't help her whinny as she danced back, away from whatever was 'attacking' her. His voice was noticeably not violent, which was likely the only reason she hadn't attacked. Her ears were laid back, blue eyes locked on him, narrowed in anger. The golden-white coat caught a few extra dapples of light as the sun barely filtered through the heavy foliage. "What the hell?" She snapped, teeth bared, as if she was a particular jackel. Though her guardian's friend would have bolted by now. The being before her was a horse. Well with the longest ears she'd seen in her short life. His dark hide was marred by the strange patterns all over him, reminding her of the white bones of her family. She flattened her ears more at the memory, almost hiding them in her slowly growing mane. "Who are you?" Kore's voice was accusatory. She didn't know who all lived here yet. She didn't have a reason too, really. Just one of the few foals in the herd. She stomped a hoof, not really giving a care that she was at least half his weight, and still a bit too thin.
