x RAZORBLADE ALLIANCE Rain and wind made up the dreary atmosphere that the Belgian brute stalked through. His eyes, brown in hue, were dark and full of something like dread or, perhaps, melancholy. His motions were fluid and confident, walking like a man on a mission, but in all reality, Razor had no true reasoning for being out in the Free Lands today other than just having a feeling to get out for a while. Normally, he spent his days guarding The Whore House for Charm - a job he'd gotten years ago and managed to keep without any trouble. He got along with the Shire well enough, was trusted enough not to screw things up. He fit the bill of one of Charm's guards - a big ol' draft with muscles for days - but there was something peculiar about Razor that the other guards did not have to deal with. You see, while the majority of the time Razor was locked deep in the pits of his "dark side," sometimes his old personality would come to the surface. He was broken now, that light side, twisted beyond reform after all Razor had done - but he remained, nonetheless, and on days like this, when the darkness slipped away and left bitter memories of what could have and should have been, Razor needed to get away from it all. The weather suited his emotions - cold and somber with still a hint of wicked bite in the wind. He inhaled the cold air; it burned his nostrils, chilled his lungs, but he held the breath inside until it warmed and then - slowly - he exhaled. Mist formed in from of his nostrils from the warmth of his breath, whisked away quickly by the wind. Razor blinked those dull eyes of his and looked around, observing the area, and found himself close to Crystal Pools. It would be warmer there, and he could rest in one of the pools for a while. Maybe it would make him feel better. Maybe it would make him feel something other than this deep nothingness. Quickening his pace, his large hooves eating up the earth, Razor entered the area and the relief of the heat in the air was immediate. Ah, it was much warmer here! Still rainy and the wind still brought the chill with it, but so long as the wind wasn't roaring, it was actually pretty comfortable here. Open! 398 | ProfileOpen to anyone/anything. CHRYSANTHEMUM
With winter chilling her very breath, knocking on her winter coat, she was making her way towards the Crystal pools, hoping that she could warm up a little bit there. Getting some respite from the ever growing cold season was something most equines had to strive for constantly during this time of the year. She hadn't been meeting as many people for the last few months as she had been during the summer, but maybe that spoke for itself, being more cold and people trying to keep away, hidden in whatever warm places they could find. Since she didn't have any herd, she also didn't have any hiding places like that, or anyone with which she could seek warmth with, so she sought out the Crystal pools and other similar places every now and then. As her coat had thickened since the cold season arrived, it wasn't as shiny as it usually was, and the blue roan parts of her seemed mostly black during this season, the grey and white hairs hidden beneath the thicker coat. Her hair was still decorated with the black thorns they always had, but the yellow wild roses haded wilted for now, and she'd make sure to pick new ones once spring arrived and they started to bloom once more. It was when she arrived at the Crystal pools that she discovered that she wasn't the only one who had had the idea of coming here for warmth. Although this guy seemed like he could hold his warmth pretty well, being so large and... fluffy. She couldn't help but smile when she saw that, no thought at all about how she could be in danger or anything, she thought and believed the best about everyone when she met them. "Hello! I see I'm not the only one who likes to visit these pools. It's nice to see other out and about."Her smile was bright and genuine, making the golden eyes sparkle like polished amber as she watched him. Stepping into one of the pools, she immediately felt the warmth go up her legs, and the respite from the wind warmed her pretty quickly. tag; Razor / fleabittengray timeline;

x RAZORBLADE ALLIANCE The harsh reality of winter did not settle into the terrain of Crystal Pools. When the wind began to howl and twist its way across the surface of the earth, sure, there was a bite to it - but aside from that, it was much warmer here, the air was much more tolerable, and it no longer burned his lungs with each inhale of oxygen taken into his body. Razor wished The Whore House was like this, warm and tolerable, instead of being accosted by the frigid snows of the season. Thankfully, he was not of a heritage that suffered much from the cold. Being a Belgian, a draft breed, Razor grew in a winter coat that was thick and fluffy. It certainly helped make him look less intimidating, which was perhaps the reason a smaller equine approached the pool he was standing near so easily, seemingly without a care in the world. The chimeric mare was even smiling upon her approach! Perturbed by her casual reaction to him, which was not something he was used to, Razor watched as she entered the pool with a critical gaze. "Hello! I see I'm not the only one who likes to visit these pools. It's nice to see other out and about." A brow was arched at her, letting silence stretch between them as he stared at her. Why was she so happy? And more importantly, why was she so comfortable around him? He had to fix that, preferably before the darkness stirred inside of him and made him do something he might regret later on. "Are you always so trusting of strangers?" he questioned her, quiet but not at all timid. His tone was more pensive than anything else, brown gaze narrowed at her as he watched, his stare unwavering while standing at the very edge of the pool. faeriiefox w/ Chrysanthemum 307 | ProfileThanks for joining! <3 9 years 6 months, early winter, rainy afternoon

CHRYSANTHEMUM
Letting the water continously warm her, from her legs and up, she shook her pelt some, flinging of what little snowflakes remained, and cold water droplets from those who had already begun to melt. She felt the others' eyes on her, almost searing into her skin, probably for how happy she was. Many seemed to be annoyed at how laid back and relaxed she was around everyone, like she didn't have a care in the world. That was just who she was, and it was something that the other would soon learn, one way or another. "For the most part, yes. Do I have a reason not to? Not that it really matters, it won't really change who I am after all." She just shrugged his words off like water on a leaf, before closing her yes. Another thing most would deem unwise around a stranger, but either she feared nothing, or she was stupid. Anyone could make their own guess at which one it was. "Now this was some lovely warm water... I can feel it warm all the way to my bones..." Her voice was soft and calm, and as she opened those golden eyes she looked at him. He was large, a brute in stature, but so was her father so that was nothing new to her. She had an inkling that maybe he tried to scare her away for a reason, but there wasn't much that could make her go away. Heck, a few months ago she had followed another big brute around for a day, just because he didn't tell her his name, so she had simply given Mr Prickly a nickname. She smiled at the thought, but also aimed that smile towards him. "I'm Chrysanthemum, who are you?" tag; Razor / fleabittengray timeline;
