This war was beginning to make Quini feel restless. Flashbacks of the raid upon the herd she had spied on haunted her thoughts and dreams. So many friends she had lost while serving the evil herd she had been born into. They can train you in all the skills but no one had trained her to not get too close. It had been an eye-opener to see how other herds lived. Ones that weren't consume by a darkness and hatred and need to want to control everything in its grasp. Everyone in her home herd agreed she was ready for the assignment mentally; now it only seemed to haunt her. She had tried to provide the elders of her herd false information- such information that made the herd seem like it was not penetrable and attacking would be a slaughter on all accounts. Losing too many warriors should have turned the elders away. Quini's observation and lie had somehow convinced the elders that then and now should be the attack. Something to catch them off guard before they caught wind of what might be coming their way. Once the elders dismissed her she remembered how fast she traveled to the herd that would soon be under siege. She warned, begged and pleaded the herd to move and prepare for an attack. Rightfully so she was met with questions on how she had obtained this information. The love interest she had made within the herd was disappointed and quick to discard her in his furious state. She never got to tell him she was sorry or even that she fancied him. The blood battle had erupted so fast. Bodies fell from both sides and she watched newly made friends fall to their death. Standing there unscathed and unfocused seemed wrong. Both sides trusted her in the heat of the moment- but once it ended she would have a target on her back so she had fled. She had caused that death and she had vowed to never do it again. So with the war in Wild Equines, while she had not dog in the fight nor did she have a side- let alone a home. It still brought up those uncomfortable memories that reminded her how useless she was and how useless she had been that day. It was a feeling Quini was determined to erase.
Black Rose Ravine was supposed to be a healing herd for the Neutral Kingdom. Who they supported and where they stood in the war didn't quite matter as much to the fifteen point one hand spotted dove. She was focused on the healing part of that statement. True, her history had been spying, deceiving and warrior training. But those were days long buried. She wanted to know how to help those in need and something about healing seemed to be calling to her. The path she followed was overshadowed by cliff walls and massive trees. The sun was hung high in the sky for midday, but the warmth of its rays blocked by the sheer walls. Audits swiveled upon her cranium as they took in the babbling creek she traveled alongside and the peaceful nature that seemed to surround herself. Pine needles and cedar scents tickled her flared nares in a pleasing scent. The area was fresh. It did not reek of death and decay, and only hoped that would be the case the closer she got. Audible noises became apparent as visual ones did as well. The babbling creek lead to a decent sized waterfall and the sheer cliffs parted to open up into a large valley, trees parting as well to expose the open beauty. Warmth immediately seeped into her varnished roan, spotted frame. Petite structure halted for a moment as her pastel violet gaze searched the greenery that covered the Earth's floor. At the far end a building seemed to be losing the battle to Mother Nature, but the picture it presented held a beauty in it's own way. Fresh. Peaceful. Nature. All things Quini seemed to note about the lands and all things that seemed to excite her.
Braids tied off with ribbon and bone fragments clung to her slightly sweaty frame. Winter and Spring in the midst of their transition but her Winter coat had not been let go yet- leaving the Winter fuzz to provide more warmth than needed during her travels and sun bath currently. Dished facade pivoted upon her arched boa as she glanced around once more before allowing her sweet lyrics to fill the emptiness before her. I'm sorry to arrive without warning. I've come here in search of the healing lands for the Neutral Kingdom in hopes I can learn and aid those in need. She was certain she was being watched from afar. Probably multiple evaluating if she might be dangerous. At fifteen point one hands she was not large by any means- but she was well sculpted with enough muscle to show that she did not spend her days only grazing. All Quini could do was hope they would believe her words and she might have some sort of direction for her life and this time of turmoil for Wild Equines.

Cirilla has been collecting herbs, twine and soft bark through out the war, collecting a stock pile for injured equines that may come to the Ravine for healing. So far there had been no such visitors yet she remained vigilant in her duty despite her self-doubt, the thoughts that someone else was better to lead the herd than herself often lingered in the back of her mind. The herd was quiet and she had not left the land to find others in some time, finding the comfort of the land was better than interacting with the outside world, just like when she was kept safe as a foal, hidden from the world until she came of age.
Ears flicked as Ciri dropped the mouthful of foliage she had held in her velvets, lifting her head as the call of a stranger rang throughout the Ravine, echoing off the sides of the mountain walls. Icy blues fell upon the spotted mare as the cremello dun looked down from her perch above the falls, before weaving her way through the cave system and out down through where the waterfall joined the river. "I'm sorry to arrive without warning. I've come here in search of the healing lands for the Neutral Kingdom in hopes I can learn and aid those in need.", The stranger continued, addressing the reason of their arrival, one that seemed noble and Ciri just hoped that she would not end up wasting the stranger's time, yet ever as not lead mare, Ciri could still teach her. "We could always use more healers, I'm Cirilla, the Lady of the Ravine. Have you travelled far to come here?," Cirilla's tones were friendly as she approached, trying to contain the mild anxiety she felt, hoping to remain professional and well-mannered in front of the stranger
