Amaranthine Wars

This is a thread between Daenerys (Whisper) and Nasuada (Indi). 

Prompt:

Daenerys, after hearing that the Versai lands (and her former home) has been subjected to a plague, is feeling the pressure and stress of the war. She wishes to make a difference - and when she encounters Nasuada, a cambion who has been eager to help the Underworld, she gets her chance.

This thread will be a battle. 

This will be Daenerys' first encounter in Act 3. This will be Nasuada's second. 

Please ensure you have read the information regarding the plot here. At least three posts from each roleplayer are required for this thread for it to be considered as complete, however further posts are encouraged. Thread should be completed no later than August 17th, 2024.

The Open Plains. Not the sort of place many opted to spend time in voluntarily. A grim locale, given the nature of what tended to happen here. Namely, the orphaning of foals. One way or another. Sometimes it was as simple as a mare deciding she had no desire for the responsibility of a foal and abandoned the child here. Sometimes it had to do with the fact that, though she had made it this far, her life was ebbing away, leaving her foal alone.

Tragic, no doubt. Enough to bring tears to the eyes of the tenderhearted.

Nasuada was no tenderhearted femme. She was a weapon, born and bred for destruction, happily serving the will of her father and the Underworld for just as long as she could remember. Still, she could see worthwhile cause to passing through The Open Plains from time to time. Raising a youngster in the right path, serving just as she served… a worthwhile endeavour indeed. Not that she had ever found any. She had never raised any youngsters thus far, in fact. Chances were high that when she brought a foal into the world, it would be when and with whom her father and the Underworld deemed fit.

Or perhaps, like her sister, she would end up seducing some poor fool and bear his child. How unfortunate that Kacia had betrayed them, making it impossible for Vanya to continue her deception in the Neutral Royal herd. At least her daughter and a guardian were still in place, ready to do whatever might be necessary to further the will of Father and the Underworld.
