It had been some time since the lady of the ravine had left her home, the idea of leaving her safe place had the cremello dun on edge yet Cirilla knew she had to do this. Lately, she hadn't been in a good place mentally, introverted and scared of the "what ifs" when it came to the war. Keeping her herd and home safe was at the top of Cirilla's priority list, yet she felt so much doubt in her ability to lead as of late. Did she deserve her position after taking over from her father? Was Thor proud of his daughter or did he feel like he had made a mistake in naming Cirilla as his successor?
The torment of her mind is what finally brought her out of the Ravine, deciding she had to leave before her mind drove her insane. Cirilla made it a goal of hers to visit most of the freelands, to try and meet new equines before finally deciding on where her path in life was going to take her and her first stop was the Crystal Pools. Here Cirilla hoped that a nice warm soak in the pools might put her mind at ease, to set her on a clear path and remove the doubt from her. Would she confine in a stranger and will they help her decide what course of action to take?

x CALAMITY The world was at war and Calamity did not give a damn about it. Her world had ended when her father had died, and again when he'd disappeared from the Underworld. Romeo had once been the Helkaer Commander, and then Lord of the Underworld. Now? Now, he was nothing. He did not exist. She had been devastated when she found his body, lifeless. Since that day, she had left the Outlands and stuck to wandering the Free Lands, mostly avoiding others though sometimes she would allow herself to have a conversation (if only to keep up with the news in the realm). She had learned that Utopia had declared war on the Underworld and that the mortals had also been dragged into it. Typical! The Afterlife dragging them into their bullshit. Though, she often found herself wondering if Talia, her half-sister that was an angel, was alright. Surely the small angel would not be expected to fight in a war, right? Ah, what did she even care? She'd met Talia all but once in her life, several years ago. She bet Talia didn't even remember her. She bet no one did. With that thought bringing a frown to her face, the long legged mare prowled forward through Crystal Pools and did her best to keep her mind off of the negatively that seemed to always plague her since that day. It was like ever since her father had died, been murdered by the looks of it, all of the light had left her life. Yet she still kept pushing herself to go through the motions of life, as if she had anything to life for anymore. While walking, weaving through the occupied pools, she spotted in a lesser used section of the pools a cremello maiden. Calamity narrowed her eyes for a moment, trying to think if she might know this mare, but nothing about the other mare was recognizable. Still, she figured she may as well give a greeting. Maybe have a conversation. "Hello there," she neighed, blue eyes cautious but inviting enough to hopefully initiate a conversation. "Thinking of enjoying the pools today?"Roman w/ Cirilla 355 | Profilehope you don't mind me popping her into this thread! 5 years 8 months, spring, mid-day
