Wings, hearts, some things are meant to be torn apart Faith, hope, some things are meant to be gone broke
He felt so defeated. His body ached from battles and from the Vision he had received from the Afterlife. It was not so longer ago when he'd gone to Mount Vigilum to discuss with the other Seers and the Vigilum what had been shown to them. Chaos and carnage beyond anything Wild Equines had ever seen. The pain from the Vision had been excruciating. He hoped to never have a Vision so intense ever again. It was more "real" than even his one he'd had about Sephenia and The Whore House. He shuddered at the onslaught of memories, closing his eyes a moment as he leaned heavily against a tree, allowing it to hold up the majority of his weight. He was feeling weak and woozy today. Too weak to leave Lyrarcor to find something to eat, especially too weak to travel far for water. He knew he was becoming overwhelmed by everything, Xerxes's Curse on the Highlands being a main focal point of his distress. But there was not only that. There was also the fact that Dahlia and Hymn were gone. Dahlia had been taken, and Hymn had gone off to Nemesis to pay for the tax she held on his home.
Xovad thought then of Lirana, his adopted sister, wondering how she was fairing during these recent events. They say each other every day, they had always been a close family, but Xovad had been so busy that he had not allowed himself to take the time to actually talk to her in the last few weeks. He felt awful about it, now that he'd thought of it, and a frown came to his facade as his eyes popped back open. His nostrils flared to draw in the scents of Lyrarcor, trying to find a fresh scent for his sister, but he struggled to really focus on the air. Shoving himself away from the tree with a low groan, Xovad stumbled forward a step and then proceeded to walk.
He weaved his way through the paths and the trees of Lyrarcor, mindlessly wandering as he searched for his adopted sibling. He felt like now was as good a time as any to talk to her and see how she was feeling about things. She had been the one to run off and get help on the day Dahlia was taken. Xovad's chest clenched at the thought and he swallowed dryly, his frown deepening. He really should keep in better contact with her these days, he was just so lost in thought and busy with the war... hopefully, she would forgive him for that.
