Flying above the skies I found the way

Thick mist covered the expanse of Nomalanga, but the striped youth was unafraid. She moved with elegance and grace, ears on a constant swivel to listen to whatever was going on around her. This was her first time outside of Rain Forest Beach since being adopted by Hunroor and being dubbed Dinah, even though that was not her name. Duchess actually did not know her birth name, knew only that she was a member of the Ghosts, and upon her first birthday she was supposed to have gotten her pentagrams and learned what her "real" name was. However, Lord Ghost had other plans for her, so her plans for training with the Ghosts were delayed. She was not sure for how long, but she knew enough to know that she could not fail her first ever mission. She had integrated herself into Rain Forest Beach with ease, because who would distrust a child who had gone through so much? Apparently Hunroor was no longer around, just Nixi as Queen, who she had yet to properly meet. She had seen the Queen from afar, though, of course. She always looked tired these days, the Light Queen. Duchess wondered why that was. Was the War taking a toll on her? It seemed to be taking a tool on everything. Only time would tell.


Cutting through some of the thick foliage of the rainforest in the Free Lands, Duchess fearlessly wandering onward. She had heard there was a watering hole and a beautiful water fall somewhere deep in the realm of Nomalanga, and she was determined to find such a thing. That sounded mighty relaxing, in her eyes, anyway.
